00:03I think it's still an uphill battle, and I mean, I would imagine, I know a few women directors who've,
00:14you know, there was a period of time when they were finding it, you know, after Time's Up and Me
00:18Too were finding it easy to be hired, who are now really struggling.
00:24I think there's absolutely still a challenge. I think it's, you know, you can't force people to offer you a
00:31film to direct. You can't force people to finance your films. You can only work as, you know, as hard
00:37as you can and make as good work as you can and hope that, you know, people believe and see
00:44what it is that you're trying to create.
00:45I would say, you know, to persevere, and because we've got, you know, women like Greta and Chloe and Catherine
00:54and Emerald out there, and a few more, you know, them paving the way and showing that, yes, indeed, women
01:04too can direct and are worth giving the keys to potential blockbusters and et cetera.
01:12Hopefully that will start to make more of a difference.
01:15We'll be right back.
