Wissam had been quietly organizing a heartfelt proposal for several months. He ultimately decided to turn it into an adventure by helping Carly face her fear of heights through a cliff jump! Wissam secretly set up a paragliding experience during their family visit in Lebanon in December 2018. The weather forecast for December 24 was dismal; rain was predicted for the entire day. No paragliding companies were willing to operate under such circumstances.
Out of nowhere, the clouds parted, revealing clear blue skies. Carly sensed Wissam was up to something; he made several phone calls and carefully selected his Arabic phrases to ensure she couldn't decipher the discussions.
