Gold and Silver for Taiwan's Women at Asian Taekwondo Championships

Another medal for Taiwan at the 2026 Asian Taekwondo Championships in Mongolia, with Liu You-yun taking silver in the women’s 49 kg division, losing 0-2 in the final to South Korea’s Kim Hyang-gi. Earlier, Wang Chieh-ling won Taiwan its first gold at the Asian championships in a decade. Wang beat Patcharakan Poolkerd of Thailand 2-0 in the final of the women's 46-kilogram division.
