00:00More than kids! More than kids! More than kids!
00:03Hundreds, hundreds, probably thousands of AU members turned out to tell the government,
00:10do your homework. Do your homework. We are fed up with the delays and the disrespect
00:16with which you are treating us. We have a plan to fix our schools and we need the government
00:22to come to the table and engage in that plan.
00:25It was clear. It was clear that the mood from our members is we've waited long enough.
00:32We've waited too long. We've waited too long. More than 10 months for no action.
00:38We are being generous in giving them one more chance, one more homework extension.
00:43We could have avoided the action that was taken today if the government had actually proposed
00:47some form of settlement for enterprise bargaining, but we're yet to get a proposed settlement
00:52for our claims. We really hope that the government takes this process more seriously within the
00:58next couple of weeks and that we don't have to take action on the 11th of June.
