00:19She says that she was excited a moment ago,
00:21but just now she got an alert that she and all of her colleagues have been fired.
00:26Some big sharks have acquired the company and now they do not have a job anymore.
00:30At night, she is with Lily and tells her that even though she is still in a better position,
00:35all of her colleagues are struggling.
00:37Lily says that she's going to crack something soon as she is brilliant.
00:42Amari is at an event when Nigel tells her that the news still hasn't broken out.
00:47After the event is done, they will tell Miranda about the controversy.
00:51All the A-listers pull up to the red carpet and soon Miranda arrives as well.
00:55She is getting her pictures taken when Nigel sees that the controversy has gone viral.
01:01She is ready to give the media a bite, but Nigel escorts her out.

02:05It's Irv and he says that he saw her viral clip and she seems to need a job.
02:10She goes to meet her friends and tells them that she has been offered a position in Runway as a

02:16She says that Irv promised her a better position and she might later be able to hire them as well.
02:21Everyone says that she should take the job.
02:24One of her friends says that she can actually write a memoir on Miranda.
02:28Something scandalous like that will sell.
02:30Andy refuses to do that, but she messages her boss and asks for $50,000.
02:36The next morning, Miranda shows Nigel that Irv is sending someone.
02:41They aren't entirely sure what he is up to, but they have no other choice.
02:44Amari says that their meeting has arrived and it's no one else but Andy.
02:49She is excited to be back and see Nigel, but Miranda has no idea who she is.
02:55Nigel says that she was her assistant 20 years back with Emily, but she still can't recall.
03:01Andy says that Irv hired her last night to get them out of the scandal.
03:05Miranda asks Amari to call the girl she had hired.
03:08She fires her on the spot and blames Andy for it.
03:11All of them leave the office and get into a car as Andy follows them.
03:16In the car, Andy says that they should discuss the plan that they're going to impose.
03:21Miranda says that the first thing they need to do is appease an important advertiser.
03:26It's Dior and they are 16% of the runway's profit share.
03:30They're going to extract multiple favors from the runway after this debacle.
03:35All of them pull up to the Dior, but the senior executive is none other than Emily.
03:40She is shocked to see all of them together.
03:43Miranda still can't remember that she had Emily and Andy together as her assistants.
03:47All of them sit for the meeting and Andy introduces herself as the new features editor.
03:53Emily can't believe it at first, but says that she looks more confident than before,
03:58but her eyebrows are still just as wonky.
04:01She then gets to business and says that runway made a huge mistake and Dior might pull out as an
04:07advertiser.
04:08Miranda says that's just a small inconvenience, but Emily doesn't look at it that way.
04:14Emily says that they will need three pages of advertising credit and a feature on the opening of their new
04:19flagship containing five pages.
04:22Nigel tries to go back and forth with her, but Emily has the upper hand and they have to finally
04:28agree.
04:28They leave the office, but Andy is shocked to see that Miranda didn't put up a fight.
04:33She says that without the advertisers, they will not exist.
04:38Andy tries to argue, but Miranda says that she doesn't know anything.
04:42Andy was hired against her wishes and she is destined to fail.
04:46She then leaves in her car and asks Andy to take the subway.
04:49The next morning, she goes to the office and meets the second assistant, Charlie.
04:54She starts to gossip with him, but just then, Amari shows up.
04:59Andy says that she had a meeting with Miranda, but Amari says that Miranda will see her later and they
05:05head towards her new cabin.
05:07Andy tells Amari that she used to have her job and went to Paris.
05:10She got a lot of designer pieces, but later on gave them all away.
05:15Amari shows her to the office that Miranda has specifically assigned for her, but it's a paper-filled dingy space.
05:21She is working when Nigel shows up with a piece for her.
05:25He asks her to join him for lunch and they head out.
05:28As they chat, Nigel reveals that Runway is barely a magazine anymore.
05:33People rarely buy physical copies anymore and everything is digital.
05:37The budgets have been cut significantly, which affects the quality of the material as well.
05:43Andy says that she is shocked to see Miranda so submissive.
05:47Nigel says that she is obeying the rules.
05:49As Zerv is going to promote her to be the global head of content.
05:53But this debacle might derail her chances, so she is complying with everything that her wants.
05:59They get out of the elevator and she meets her assistant, Jen.
06:03Jen shares her incredible credentials and tells her that she can interview other people if she wants, but Andy is
06:09happy with her.
06:10Just then, she notices Miranda hanging her own coat.
06:13Jen says that there were some HR complaints about her throwing coats at the assistant, and she was asked to
06:19stop that.
06:20She is working on an apology that needs to be published soon.
06:24She hand it over to Charlie.
06:25The next morning, the article goes on air.
06:28Jay shows Irv that the article has gone viral and people are really responding positively to it.
06:34Andy goes to the office in a chirpy mood and hovers around Miranda's office.
06:38She expects Miranda to acknowledge her work.
06:41Miranda pays her no attention.
06:43Andy notices a covered runway for the billionaire couple Benji and Sasha Barnes.
06:48But after the split, Sasha has inherited a lot of money and gone completely MIA.
06:54Miranda desperately wants to get an interview with her, but her luck hasn't worked yet.
06:59The team is at a meeting as Miranda looks over the work of the team.

07:57Emily is at the new flagship, looking over work when Andy shows up.
08:01She says that she is working on the Dior project and wants to write about Emily's contribution to that.
08:06Emily is elated and gives Andy the tour of the new flagship.

08:31She says that luxury retail is the only sector of the fashion industry that still makes money.
08:37The magazine business is going downhill, and print media will soon disappear.
08:42She then tells Andy that she has never read something that Andy has worked on.
08:46Miranda is on a call with Irv, and he is angry that none of Andy's pieces has gained traction.
08:52Nigel asks about the promotion, but Miranda says that Irv has gone numb about all of that.
08:58Andy is at her office trying to figure out what people truly want to read.
09:02Just then, Miranda shows up and says that none of her pieces has truly picked up.
09:08She doesn't have much time to prove herself before she gets fired.
09:11Andy, in a panic, says that she is doing a profile on Sasha Barnes.
09:16Miranda stops and says that she hasn't done a press run in three years.
09:21Andy says that she has found her way in, and in no time, they will get an interview with her.
09:26Later, she tells her friend that she straight up lied, and she has no contact with Sasha.
09:32Just then, she notices one of Sasha's pictures with an art piece behind her.
09:36She speaks to Lily, and to her luck, Lily knows about the dealer who sold Sasha the painting.
09:42Andy then puts all her might into trying to get her contact.
09:45She finally gets it and spams her for an interview.
09:49Andy is out with Lily looking for a new apartment.
09:52They go to check out a luxury apartment now that she earns twice as much.
09:56She goes to a room where a man is sitting.
09:58He says he likes the apartment.
10:00She says that the building is old, but the apartment has been made like a set.
10:05She hates that the new constructions are taking away the old charm of these monuments.
10:09The man introduces himself as Peter, and says that he is the owner of the building.
10:15She apologizes for insulting his building, but he says that he understands where she is coming from.
10:20They engage in a fun banter, but just then, she receives a message.
10:25She says that it's something important, and rushes out immediately.
10:29Lily asks Peter about his relationship status, and he says that he is single.
10:33She immediately rushes to the office, and tells Miranda that Sasha agreed to an interview.
10:39They go to her palace, and conduct the interview.
10:42She says that she has been trying to focus on herself, and plans to give everything away.
10:47Miranda asks why she chose to give an interview after so many years.
10:51She says that the new pieces that Runway is doing really touched her, and that's why she chose to do

10:57Off record, Sasha says that she has recently been engaged, and Runway can be the first one to break the

11:12The next morning, she goes to finalize the apartment, and meets Peter.
11:17Peter asks her out for a date, and she agrees.
11:20On the date, Peter says that he read a few of her articles, and they were really good.
11:24She is impressed, as no other man has even read any of her work.
11:29She says that she is using Runway as a stepping stone, so she can go back to real journalism after
11:35this is all done.
11:36She also says that she has an offer to write a book on a famous personality, but the publishers want
11:42the scandal.
11:43But she wants to write about something real.
11:45The next morning, she calls her friend, and says that she is considering writing the book, and will send a
11:51few pages to her publisher.
11:52Her friend is super excited, and says that she will get Andy the best deal.
11:57Andy tells Amari that she has received an invitation from Miranda to her house on Saturday.
12:02Amari says that Irv has specially requested that she be there.
12:06Andy goes to meet Nigel, and says that she needs his help dressing up.
12:10He takes her to the closet, and picks up a few pieces for her.
12:13He says that they are on a tight budget, so she needs to send the clothes back by Monday.
12:17Just then, Andy's eyes get stuck at a pièce, and she begs Nigel to let her wear it.
12:23He is not convinced, but finally agrees on one condition, that she will hand it over stainless.
12:29She gets ready, and goes to Miranda's place the next morning.
12:33Stuart welcomes her in, and soon Miranda introduces her to many influential people.

14:43Andy says that their jobs are not in jeopardy, as he will not be able to run the company without

14:50They are at a meeting, and Nigel is pitching the gala that is going to take place in Italy.

16:41She is hovering outside Miranda's townhouse and finally gathers the courage to ring the bell.

16:49He says that Miranda is upstairs and asks her go there.
