00:00We're at the Chelsea Flower Show and here are five unexpected things that you might miss.
00:05Within the houseplant studios you'll find the hanging gardens of Botanica where there are these
00:10immense moss poles interspersed with huge terracotta pots with cascading water flowing
00:16all the way down them. It's one of the most unusual houseplant features I've ever seen and
00:20definitely worth a look. The garden behind me is the Parkinson's UK garden and within it is the
00:26most beautiful tranquil water feature. It's a water rill and it's designed to create movement
00:32and sound within the garden that aid people who have Parkinson's. It also looks beautiful from
00:37every angle so do try and see it from different sides of the garden. I have spotted the rarest
00:42plant at this year's show. It's a blue kangaroo paw and it's at the Australian garden which is called
00:48Journey Beyond the Tracks. It's pretty low to the ground so make sure you look down to spot it.
00:52Next there is one colour combination that I am seeing everywhere at this show. It is neutered
00:58apricots, neutrals, really soft tones alongside rich burgundies. You'll see this combination if you
01:05look for the tall spires of foxglove next to verbascum, if you look for the poppies and the really rich
01:11tones of the iris. Once you notice it you will see it everywhere. Lastly gnomes have been allowed into the
01:17Chelsea Flower Show this year because they are a favourite of King Charles so look carefully and you might spot
01:22one.
01:22Thank you very much.
