00:00In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
00:05Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies God, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
00:14It is He who expelled the disbelievers among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering
00:26You did not think they would go out, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from God.
00:41So God came upon them from where they did not expect and cast terror into their hearts.
00:50They destroy their own houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers.
00:58So take heed, O you who have eyes!
01:03Had God not decreed their exile, He would have punished them in this world, and in the Hereafter they will have the punishment of Hellfire.
01:19That is because they opposed God and His Messenger. And whoever opposes God, then God is severe in punishment.
01:37Whatever palm trees you cut down or left standing on their roots, it was by the permission of God, so that He might disgrace the wicked.
01:53And what Allah bestowed upon His Messenger from them - for which you did not spur on any horse or camel
02:12But God gives power to His messenger over whomever He wills, and God is capable of all things.
02:26What Allah bestows upon His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for the near relatives, orphans, and the needy.
02:46And the wayfarer, so that it does not become a perpetual distribution among the rich among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you, take it; and whatever he has forbidden you, refrain from it.
03:06Fear God, for God is severe in punishment.
03:15For the poor migrants who were driven from their homes and possessions, seeking bounty from God and His pleasure
03:35They support God and His Messenger; those are the truthful ones.
03:45Those who had settled in the city and embraced the faith before them love those who emigrated to them and do not find in their hearts any need for what they have been given.
04:04They do not find in their hearts any need for what they have been given, and they give preference to others over themselves, even though they are in dire need.
04:21And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.
04:30And those who came after them say, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith."
04:45And do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
05:03Have you not seen those who are hypocrites, saying to their brothers who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, “If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you”?
05:19We will never obey anyone concerning you, and if you are fought, we will surely support you. God bears witness that they are liars.
05:39If they are expelled, they will not go with them; if they are fought, they will not help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs and then they will not be helped.
05:59Because you are more feared in their hearts than God; that is because they are a people who do not understand.
06:12They will not fight you all together except in fortified villages or from behind a mountain. Their might is great among themselves.
06:27You would think they are united, but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who do not understand.
06:38Like those before them, they soon tasted the consequences of their actions and will have a painful punishment.
06:49Like Satan when he said to man, “Disbelieve,” and when he disbelieved, he said, “I am innocent of you.”
07:03He said, "I am innocent of you; indeed, I fear God, Lord of the worlds."
07:16Their fate was that they would abide eternally in Hell, and that is the recompense of the wrongdoers.
07:32O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
07:51And do not be like those who forgot God, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.
08:05The companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise are not equal. The companions of Paradise are the winners.
08:19Had We sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and split apart from fear of God. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will reflect.
08:41He is God, there is no god but He, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
08:54He is God, there is no god but He, the King, the Holy, the Peace, the Giver of Security, the Guardian, the Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme
09:09Glory be to God above what they associate with Him.
09:14He is God, the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner
09:19To Him belong the most beautiful names.
09:24Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him.
09:29He is the Almighty, the Wise
