00:11of time crafting a statement which I'll read from now. Thank you to everyone for being here and for
00:17the support I've received over what has been an incredibly difficult and uncertain period
00:21in my life. After extensive medical testing and consultations regarding ongoing symptoms
00:26I've recently received a diagnosis relating to nerve and neurological condition. Further tests
00:31specialist reviews and medical processes are still ongoing and my doctors are continuing to
00:36assess my condition. Over recent months my symptoms have affected different parts of my everyday life.
00:42On medical advice I'm not currently medically cleared to train or play at the required level
00:46and I'll be stepping away from those duties while I focus fully on my health treatment and
00:51rehabilitation. I want to sincerely thank everyone at the South Sydney Rabbitohs for the personal
00:56support they've shown me and my family throughout this process. Thank you for standing beside me
01:01through all of this. I know the road ahead won't be easy but anyone who knows me knows I'm competitive,
01:08stubborn and ready to fight this with everything I've got. What I need right now isn't sympathy
01:13or sadness? Like all of us we can't believe what's going to happen to him but the fact is it's

01:20and it has to call it time but what he does know he knows he's got the support of everybody

01:28change room and he knows he's got the support of everybody on the staff and he knows everybody
01:32it's a part of South Sydney as their support. He'll need that but we'll always be there for him in
01:37this club.
