00:01A lot of people have been wondering, like, where has Project Youngin been and why has
00:06he not been dropping any new music?
00:09I really, I've been focused on, like, life, like, you know.
00:14New project dropping soon, I recently got out of this distribution deal and I had litigation
00:22obligations to where I couldn't drop music and going back and forth to court with that.
00:26So, now that we finally got that over, new project on the way, May 8th, you know, built
00:31from sacrifices, dropping on all platforms, back fully independent.
00:36Period.
00:36So, okay, let me ask you something.
00:38Is it better to be independent or signed as an artist?
00:41Because you've been both.
00:42Yeah.
00:43To each his own.
00:44Like, you know, every, with music, there is no, like, the blueprint.
00:49There's no direct blueprint to success.
00:52Everybody's route is a little different.
00:53Some people might need that, like, they don't have the money up front, so they might need
00:58that label backing to get them where they need to go.
01:01And other people, you know, being independent is like, they don't need a million up front.
01:07They could go drop a tape, go do a bunch of shows.
01:09They might be already hot in their area getting 10,000 a show.
01:13Right.
01:13And, you know, 10 shows there, that's 100,000.
01:15So, you know, you do that and repeat it.
01:17They might not need the big budget, the big label budget.
01:19So, it's like, everybody's route a little different, like, so I feel like independence
01:23is important, like, to own your stuff, but it's like, everybody's route a little different.
01:27So, you know, you're right.
01:27So, you're right.
01:28So, you're right.
01:28So, you're right.
01:28So, you're right.
01:28So, you're right.
01:28So, you're right.
01:29So, you're right.
01:29So, you're right.
01:29So, you're right.
