My name is Thierry Donard. I’m a filmmaker. For the past 30 years, I have traveled the world with my team to film athletes pushing their limits on our changing planet. Beyond their feats, they are incredible men and women that have chosen to experience what few of us ever will. 00:03when filming started we knew all was not well with the world but couldn't have foreseen that
00:11we would have to push the pause button a short time after or that our freedom and access to
00:18nature would be limited for several months I love to feel free in the ocean I love to
00:26swim in the surface it's really that feeling of open ocean surfing forever infinite wave you
00:36know it's the whole setting and the whole thing of being in the mountain with your friends sharing
00:43moments and just being out there looking out for each other
00:56and I hadn't skidded in five years basically because I was scared I was scared to go back and
