00:00I want to thank the leaders of several major pharmacies and generic drug makers who are
00:04partnering with us on this effort, including the co-founder of Cost Plus Drugs, Mark Cuban.
00:11Mark, thank you very much. Mark, looking good, Mark. Come here, Mark.
00:18We have the same thing, one thing in common. We want to make people better
00:22and keep them wealthy, right? Good to be with you. Vice President of Amazon Pharmacy,
00:28Tanvi Patel. Thank you very much. And the president of Rx Marketplace at GoodRx, Aaron Crittenden.
00:39Aaron, thank you very much. Great job you're doing. With these companies as partners, we're all
00:45so getting and adding new tools to take over websites which will connect patients with the
00:51lowest-priced pharmacy right in their own neighborhood, or alternatively give them
00:57the option of getting a discounted prescription shipped straight to their door. They can have it
01:02delivered right to their front door. This will provide American consumers with new options,
01:08more savings, and unprecedented price transparency, putting billions and billions of dollars back into
01:14the pockets of hardworking Americans. What a difference it's going to make at the end of a week.
01:19For generations, drug prices have only gone up. And under my administration, for the first time in
01:24history, drug prices are coming down. And they are coming down very, very dramatically and substantially.
01:31Politicians from both parties promised for decades to make healthcare more affordable,
01:35but they all failed, every single one of them. And when they thought they had it,
01:40they couldn't get other countries to go along. I got all the other countries to come along.
01:44I said, you don't come along, we're going to tariff you. And they all said, we'd love to come along,
01:48sir. But I'm actually getting it done. And I don't care how I do it. I got to get it
01:53done for the
01:53people. I want to thank the incredible team behind this historic accomplishment, including Secretary of
01:59Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., probably. Administrator for the Centers for Medicare
02:06and Medicaid Services, Dr. Mehmet Oz. What a team. What a team this is. And Chief Counselor of Health and
02:14Human
02:14Services, Chris Klump. And I also especially have to thank the genius behind the world-class website
02:21that will soon be serving hundreds of millions of Americans, Airbnb co-founder and Chief Design Officer
02:28of the United States, Joe Gebbia, who's really amazing, and Ed Korstein and the team at the National
02:36Design Studio, which is as good as you get.
