The legendary stealth-action game is one step closer to cinemas. This update reveals that Sony Pictures has enlisted a new director duo, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, to tackle the long-gestating Metal Gear Solid film adaptation.

00:14The announcement, via THR, indicates that the Metal Gear Solid film is finally making solid progress,
00:2112 years after the movie was announced back in 2014.
00:24The last major update on the film came in 2024, when producer Avi Arad, one of the original creators behind
00:30Marvel Studios and the MCU, said a script was currently in progress.
00:34"'We are honored to be partnering with the incredible executive team at Sony,' said Lipovsky and Stein in a statement.
