A devastating tornado outbreak is currently occurring across 14 states in the US as a level 4-of-5 moderate risk system impacts Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, and more. The Storm Prediction Center has declared tornado emergencies, the highest level of alert, for numerous areas. Hail larger than the size of a baseball has been reported, and meteorologists caution that tornadoes could be EF2 or more intense. Millions of people are in the direct trajectory of the outbreak until Monday night.
