00:00Years ago, we had neighbors who were illegal Hispanics.
00:04They learned English, they had a business, they were our best friends.
00:09Now you're seeing people come over to bring drugs.
00:15I like to keep my signs because I never know when I'm gonna stop and pick it.
00:22There's over a thousand people a day that actually are deported.
00:26Well, there's nothing to fear if you are obeying the law.
00:30Do they make you prove your citizenship status?
00:33It is.
00:33You're Native American, right?
00:34Yeah.
00:35Everyone who looked around is being stopped at every instance
00:39because we were going to continue to look Mexican all day long.
00:42We have to support your children in the schools.
00:45The prisons are overcrowded with illegals.
00:47The healthcare system is in the dumper because of illegal immigrants.
00:51These are your neighbors, these are people who are working in every aspect of life.
00:55The entire family is always on edge.
00:58I've had six cousins detained or deported in the last four years.
01:03We're going to continue to do these crime suppression operations
01:07and they're gonna keep leaving and leaving and leaving.
01:11Washington says our border is as safe as it has ever been.
01:14Does this look safe?
01:16To you, these signs calling our desert an active drug and human smuggling area.
01:22There's nothing we can do for Jorge but to try to assist his family
01:26while this imminent deportation goes through.
01:29Thirty other states around the country have tried to adopt or have adopted similar or tougher legislation.
01:37It's in their backyard, it isn't just our problem.
01:40If you don't leave the street immediately, you will go to jail.
