00:00Let's get to yesterday here. The Cavaliers shock a lot of folks here having won two games on the
00:07road in order to win this series in the Eastern Conference. Congrats to them. I don't think
00:11enough people are talking about this right now. I mean, I guess we do that in sports. We tend to
00:15look at the loser more than we do the winner. But I got to say, Kenny Atkinson, James Harden,
00:21you know, Mobley, I mean, they this this is a season that I did not expect to go this way
00:26for
00:26them, and they deserve a lot of credit. Yeah, well, preseason, Craig, this is exactly where
00:31Cleveland was supposed to be in season. It didn't feel like their year really at any point,
00:39unless you're like a big Harden guy, that trade probably didn't sway many people. But I think
00:45what lands for me in this win is and what I've been saying about the Cavs Harden being the lead
00:54story
00:54as an indictment on the other guys. Harden is 37-38. He's been in this league for, you know,
01:01over 15 years. He is who he is, right? He's an all-time great regular season player. The postseason
01:07falloff is legitimate. He is not supposed to be the lead story on a contending team. It's supposed
01:13to be a Donovan Mitchell or an Evan Mobley, and those guys were the lead story in the game against
01:19the Pistons. Donovan was fantastic, 26-6-8. Evan Mobley was plus 31, Craig, in this game,
01:25in a game that they won by 31. He was all that important. Jared Allen stepped up in another game
01:31seven. So for the Cavs, it's supposed to be a team that is here, and the way they won this
01:40series,
01:40I think, legitimizes the talent that now shows up for this series a lot more.
01:46Very well said. And maybe Cleveland can hang with the Knicks after seeing this. It does give you a
01:52little bit more optimism, especially the way that they won. It wasn't like it came right down to the
01:56end with a game-winning shot. But I do think that the odds are extremely fair here. The Knicks are
02:01favored in a very big way to win the series, minus 250. Knicks to win by two games in the
02:08series,
02:09by the way, minus 125. Same odds for the Cavs, plus one and a half. Have you decided the way
02:13that
02:13you're going to play, if you are going to play even this series? I shouldn't say you have to play
02:17everything, Kevin. Yeah, but I think there's going to be a way to attack. I haven't placed any of the
02:23bets yet, Craig. But the biggest thing for me in this series, and this was going to be true
02:28regardless of who won game seven. The Pistons and Cavs each played seven-game series in rounds
02:35one and round two. That is just a wild disadvantage to have going up against this Knicks team who's
02:40not played basketball in over a week. We have seen historically coming off of a seven-game series
02:46can really put you up against it. So to me, to come off of two straight seven-game series while
02:52your
02:53opponent's been resting for as long as New York has, and the caliber of basketball the Knicks are
02:59playing, Craig, I would be really surprised if this was anything other than the Knicks
03:05representing the Eastern Conference. And I think there could be some value in aggressively playing
03:10the Knicks, not just the minus one and a half, but maybe minus two and a half, right? Knicks in
03:15five,
03:15exact. I think those are some tempting options here for me on New York.
