00:00I do want to fight the next election.
00:03Obviously, I recognise that after the local election results,
00:07the elections in Wales and Scotland as well,
00:09that the first task is obviously turning things around
00:12and making sure that my focus is in the right place.
00:15The last 10 days, there's been a lot of activity
00:19which hasn't been as focused, in my view, as it should have been.
00:22And I remind myself every day that I was elected into office
00:26to serve the people, to serve the country.
00:29That's what I believe in, and that's what I'll be getting on with.
00:33If someone else gets 81 MP backers and challenges you for leadership,
00:37will you fight them?
00:38Well, we're not at that position, Chris,
00:40but I've said I don't know how many times that I'm not going to walk away.
00:44I feel very strongly that I must serve the people who voted me into office.
00:50Do I recognise that we've got to turn things around
00:52after those election results?
00:54Yes, of course I do.
