00:00Is Fiverr still worth in 2026? And I wanted to give my honest thoughts and prediction for 2026
00:07as me being an active seller who makes between $30,000 to $40,000 and more per month on Fiverr.
00:14And 2025, I made over $400,000 in Fiverr. And as you can see here, we are in my analytics
00:23for
00:24where currently I'm still recording this in December. Right now, there's $428,000 made
00:28on Fiverr. And I want to share my honest thoughts. So me personally, what I'm planning to do on Fiverr
00:34in
00:352026, what I think as well, let's say if you are on Fiverr, you will understand my sort of
00:43suggestions for you. If you have been struggling on Fiverr, if you've been succeeding on Fiverr,
00:48if you're also looking to get started on Fiverr, there are a few things that I want to suggest to
00:53personally, and I'm going to go over how you can make this whole freelancing on Fiverr or on Upwork
01:00more successful in 2026. So the first thing as I'm looking at my profile, if you guys are not seeing
01:08my, have not seen my content before, I've been selling my social media marketing services primarily
01:14on Fiverr. Right now I have, you can see over 10,000 reviews, 30,000 orders completed. And you know,
01:21right now I have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight gigs. And this has been kind of
01:29similar in the last, I would say two years, I launched a new service this year, actually two
01:33services. I'm testing one of my services here, you can see doesn't have really any orders here,
01:40but I'm testing different categories as well. And to be honest, this has been a successful year 2025.
01:452025. We had some drops, as you can see in my analytics, we had some drops after the summer.
01:51But overall, this has still been a very, very, very interesting year. And I know, of course, a lot
01:57of sellers, for some of them, this year was not the best year, things have been slow for Fiverr,
02:03things have been changing. But my honest opinion and my honest thought is that, you know, if you look
02:11at the Fiverr as like a globally, right, so of course, there's still opportunities, there is still
02:18demand, there is still potential to make $10,000 more 20,000 30,000 40,000 I have people sellers
02:26that
02:26I know who are making, you know, more than 50,000 per month. So it's definitely possible. But the thing
02:31that you need to understand, there are a few things. The first thing is the actual demand for
02:37your services, like where you should go. In my case, right now, what I'm seeing is that, okay,
02:43I'm able to make around 400,000, I have these kind of services, but I'm feeling that I'm hitting the
02:49ceiling, right? So that means that I'm not getting enough orders. So you can see here, for example,
02:53we had a really, really good spike, 284 completed orders, and then it down to 242, 237, 208. So it's
03:03kind of going down, right? So this is not a good sign. Of course, this can change, right? But when
03:10you're thinking to sell on Fiverr, you should, of course, expect this, that it's not always going to
03:14be under your control, how much you're going to make because Fiverr can, you know, literally be very
03:20good for you one month, next month can be slow, and it creates inconsistency. So what you should do
03:26is you should, first of all, understand what kind of services you want to offer, understand the demand,
03:32understand that this maybe if you're planning to offer something like copywriting, writing,
03:36maybe they're not going to be as successful as they were before, like the whole chat GPT era,
03:42and the open AI and you know, all of those, all of those AI stuff, it probably is not going
03:48to be like
03:48that. But you can still find success with pivoting to other categories and finding what is working.
03:56So my first plan, right now that I'm doing, I'm going to be doing the whole rebranding. So my plans
04:03first is complete rebranding. And what I mean by rebranding is simply meaning new gigs, new videos,
04:18new descriptions, new FAQ, new gig pictures. So I'm going to be doing a rebranding because
04:30I see that this is necessary. If I want to, let's say, continue to grow, if I want to scale
04:35my Fiverr
04:36business, I must do that. Like this is a must, right? So if you are in something similar, you should
04:43have, of course, the profile picture, intro video, videos, and you know, nice pictures and things
04:49like that. So I'm going to be making that. This is my first sort of step. The next step, what
04:54I'm seeing
04:55could create, could help me even more, update my portfolio. So portfolio is very important.
05:05On Fiverr is crucial because once you update, once you add more things, people are going to go to your
05:09portfolio, they're going to see the things, and they will essentially make a decision to work with
05:13you or not. If you go to my, for example, portfolio, I do update this actually quite regularly,
05:19but you can still see, you know, like this one was updated in May, this one was updated in February.
05:25So it's been, it's been some time. This one was updated in April as well. So as you can see,
05:31for sure, it needs some updates, it needs some updates, needs some changes.
05:35And I'm really looking forward to to make this better. Because I do believe clients are looking
05:41at these things, they're checking these things. And this will help me grow even more. So the other
05:47thing which I want to update is update output geek PDFs. So the geek PDFs, essentially, when you go,
05:57for example, to someone's profile, let's try it and see if I can find some, some good example, I think,
06:03I think Mari has probably these things. So I'll create social media business pages. Guys, again,
06:09I always, you know, talked about this seller before, and how incredible it is, you know,
06:15he's charging 400 euros, which is like 420, we can switch to dollars,
06:24450 dollars, and he's creating three social media profiles, right? And right now, he has four orders in
06:28queue. This is this is pretty incredible that that you know, this is happening for him. But let's see
06:34what what he has. So he has a video, he has a geek picture. And this is okay, this is
06:39another picture,
06:40this is another picture. And this is the presentation, right? So you can see here, how
06:46how he designed his presentation, right? So he has basically he is asking click to view a presentation
06:53of recording social media pages, I can also grow your social media pages, especially Instagram,
06:58right? So he is basically, you know, telling us to, to click this paste this link, he can, you can
07:06see
07:06exactly what will be happening, he and he provides the results. So this is something that is good, that
07:11that's what he did, which is great, it has a great potential. We can also see, let's say creative,
07:21creative, creative man, digital marketer, I think that's what he has his channel. Yes, so
07:31all right, he hasn't posted in a while, which is okay. But you know, that's, that's the best thing. So
07:37updating the PDFs. And this is something that I already have, but it's basically linking
07:45your YouTube channel. So this is very important. And I will, I'm going to be doing this more as
07:52well. So if you go on my channel right now, you will see, you will see actually what I have,
07:59I have
07:59this video, which I recorded recently, it's about how you can grow your, your Instagram, right? So you
08:08have, let's just skip this ad. This is a, this is like one hour video, right? And you can see
08:15here,
08:15so I'm leading people, essentially, they're going back to, to my Fiverr profile here. And this is
08:22something that I'm also curious to see how it will work. I'm currently seeing that this video, and we
08:28can go even to my, to my YouTube studio, and see how this video is going to be before is
08:34actually
08:34performing right now. But I have the feeling, not this one, let me go back to this one. So you
08:42can
08:42see, of course, it's not performing as well as the other videos. But still, if I go to the to
08:49the reach,
08:50for example, here, I'm still seeing, like, you know, it's, you can see here, it's still going up,
08:57right? Some somehow it's still, you see, it's not like, let's say, but for example, if we take it
09:03Friday, that was like a few days ago, we had 300. Let's say 395, right? Saturday. And now we have
09:11422.
09:14So it's growing slow, like still growing after it's been more than a week, it's been around a week,
09:20and it's still growing. So this is something that I would highly suggest for you to look into it.
09:26Because if you are on Fiverr, or any other platforms, you can actually share YouTube,
09:32YouTube is allowed to be shared. And this is, it can create a lot of opportunities,
09:37you can get traffic from YouTube, people can go and buy your service, or you can use YouTube to educate
09:44your potential clients more. So my plan is to, of course, do this more, do this more, and essentially,
09:50I'm already doing that. I have videos that I'm sharing with clients when we start an order,
09:55when I complete an order, when they send a message, and I need to explain to them,
09:59I'm already doing that. And this is something that is very, very important to understand.
10:04Next step is systems. So the most important thing when you are growing your Fiverr or Upwork as well,
10:12to have a good system. So systems means you need to have sales system. So this should,
10:18you know, you should have a CRM system. And of course, I will highly suggest you to if you have
10:24not used the freelance hustle.ai, the platform that I've been together with Ayman, my partner,
10:30we've been developing this platform for the last few months, helping Fiverr Upwork sellers will have
10:35Upwork integration now to essentially have more tools, more opportunities to use to close clients,
10:40you can see here, we have a lot of great, great features, which helps you with the responses,
10:45which helps you with tracking the leads as well. We have added a few cool things like automations,
10:51which actually when you receive a message on Fiverr, it will save into the CRM so you can do
10:56necessary follow ups later. So I think this is great. And if you are also thinking like,
11:02let's say, okay, what you should, let me open you here just to show you how it works. There is
11:10another
11:10platform which I highly suggest you to check out is the launch, the launch.freelanhhustle.ai,
11:16it's free to sign up, you can sign up for free. And you can analyze the categories much better,
11:21you can analyze the categories, you can analyze the demand, you can analyze the traffic as well,
11:25like what is essentially you should focus on. So this is also another platform, which is completely
11:31free, you can just sign up, put an email and you can use it for free, it will help you
11:36create gigs,
11:37it will help you understand the market better. And we are looking to continue improving it, continue
11:43developing it. So like this, it really serves as an additional source for you to explore what the
11:49possibilities are. So but you know, having this system is very, very important. So the same goes
11:56from team members. Right now, I have, I have, of course, a team, and especially I have a team who
12:06is
12:06also handling my Fiverr account, you guys seen Alosha, he is a part of my team, you know, we've
12:12always, we've been working for more than a year now. And he's answering my inbox, my order messages,
12:18we also have direct clients that he's handling. And this is very important for you as well. So,
12:24you know, even for me, for example, there have been a lot of kind of investments that made like,
12:29for example, when when I started the summer, there's been a lot of investments that I,
12:34let's say responsibilities that I decided to take. This includes, you know, we hosted some events for
12:39Freelance Hustle, there were some Freelance Hustle commitments, also hiring people in the summer, we
12:44hired people to essentially help with the system better. So there were some commitments. And of course,
12:50when we are losing revenue, when we're going down, it's sometimes it's a bit, it's a bit tricky,
12:56because we need to cut down the expenses, right? So that's why having a team is very important. But you
13:02have to also know your costs. And you have to essentially, you know, understand the clear
13:08picture of where where you should put your efforts in, you know, because, you know, you can have
13:15something like a system like a CRM system that helps you the tools, which is important. But you can also
13:20have a team who will actually do things to free up your time to create more, you know, opportunities for
13:27you to continue growing your business. So for me, it's going to be still 2026, very important to continue
13:33improving that our goal is to, of course, continue improving Freelance Hustle. We have a very, very nice
13:38feature right now, which allows you, for example, if you are not offering something specific, like, let's
13:45say, if you're not offering a service, we created this new way for you to post a new job, let's
13:51say, if you have a
13:52client who needs something that you don't do, but you can create this job request, job post on the
13:58Freelance Hustle.ai. And our community of sellers, top sellers, sellers that are doing a great job with
14:05their services, they will see and you have a chance to collaborate with those sellers. And we build some
14:10integration with Fiverr. That means that we can track the order status, we can track some relevant data
14:16as well. And it helps things a bit easier. This is we have the first version available as well, we're
14:21looking to continue improving this. And this is something that I'm also very excited because we
14:27have amazing sellers who are doing different things. And this allows you to sell services that you don't
14:31personally do, but you can have the community which will be collaborating on those type of orders. So this
14:37is very, very exciting feature as well. So okay, the next thing is the new gigs. The new gigs are
14:44crucial. This is very important. And I'm going to put this as well in bold because this is something
14:50that I'm going to be doing right now. Right now I'm exploring, I'm looking at opportunities. So
14:55I'm using the freelance, the launch.freelancehustle.ai. This is the first thing because you can see a lot
15:03of those opportunities. And second, I'm also checking Fiverr itself, right? I'm looking at what are the
15:10categories, what the gigs I can create. This is very important. You have, of course, of course,
15:14the trending tab. But I'm also looking really into, you know, understanding where the demand is,
15:23where we should, where me should also focus on more. And you can see here, for example, this is
15:30also, I think it's a new category that Fiverr has made, which is social media automation, marketing
15:35automation. This is something that is relatively new. And I believe this category has a lot of potential.
15:42So now this is also very important to monitor. All manual remove unwanted followers. Mostly we have
15:51like removing followers, removing fake followers, set up make.com automation made with in it. And as
15:59well, build the AI powered marketing automation system 24 hours. This is interesting as well. Okay,
16:05so go high levels, go high level CRM. So you see, there are these opportunities. And this is this is,
16:12that's why it's important to monitor this, like very closely, because you might have something new,
16:19like let's say, this one has 232 orders in queue. But you can see, like, let's say this agency is
16:25charging a lot. But you know, they have this leverage, you know, they are in the category,
16:30which is relatively new. So for me, it's the same finding those gigs, I believe, even though that
16:36I still see the demand on Instagram, social media, I still feel I need to create new gigs,
16:43new gigs, new opportunities, especially when you grow, like when you have some, let's say,
16:47already some results, it's important to look into more opportunities, more gigs,
16:51don't stop yourself in those sort of bubble that you are currently, try to look for opportunities.
16:59You know, always the great example that I like to, to show is with Lambros. He has he's been on
17:07Fiverr
17:07for for long time as well. And he has 30 gigs. So he has 30 gigs, but you can see
17:12his gigs are in
17:14different like he has different cat different categories, different gigs, but he's trying many
17:18things like, you know, personal, I'll be a personal finance coach, I will manage your school community,
17:22right? So he has also, you know, the the gig for school, he has the gig for Instagram. So he
17:29will
17:29manage Instagram growth organically, he has the gig for Blue Sky social media, he has the he's now
17:36doing the Google ads, PPC, you know, Google ads, he's also doing Twitter management, right? So he has a
17:44Twitter, Twitter gig, actually, his Twitter gig is one of his biggest gigs, I believe, not this one,
17:51he has multiple. So legal Twitter ads, so he's doing ads, he's doing translation, he's doing proofreading.
17:57So you guys can see there is a lot of things that he is doing. And that way, it allows
18:02him to be ranked
18:03in multiple different categories. This is something that I don't say that you should do this, like,
18:08all the sellers should do this. But I believe you should try to to expand your expertise, expand your
18:15knowledge into into different gigs into different categories as well. So again, you can use the launch
18:20that will help you with this, you can explore what what is actually happening, you will see the pricing,
18:26how much sellers are charging, you will see some interesting trends, you will see some insights,
18:31you will see the tools, you will see the skills that they're they're using. So it all will be in
18:35this
18:36one place. So highly, highly recommend you to check it out. So what else we have? The next thing which
18:43I want to want to talk as well is Upwork. You know, Upwork is and I'm going to also put
18:48it in bold, because
18:50you know, Upwork is a very interesting platform. First of all, because right now I'm kind of surrounded
18:55with people freelancers who are trying Fiverr or trying Upwork and I'm kind of like seeing different
19:01angles. So on Upwork, you kind of need to put your own initiative, your own time, right? You need to
19:08find those proposals, you need to apply for those proposals, like you are the one who he needs to,
19:15like, start the engine. With Fiverr, it's a little bit different. Fiverr can be very slow at the
19:21beginning. But Fiverr, it's like you need to set up the gigs of everything. And then the clients,
19:28they will start to find you, you know, you have on Fiverr as well, briefs, which will help you with
19:34getting those additional jobs, like proposals that on Upwork. But Upwork can bring you a lot of
19:40interesting clients. I want to give an example here. Let me find Mustapha Baisal Upwork. So I think he
19:51has, I think this is his profile. So for example, Mustapha, he is a seller on Upwork. I also know
20:00him
20:00personally, because we work in the same, in the same co working space. And you can see, for example,
20:07he is, you know, total total jobs 13 total hours 46. So he is actually so I remember how he
20:16kind of
20:16pretty much got started on Upwork, right? It was this, it was summer 2025. And, you know, it was,
20:24he also writes like articles, he has a YouTube channel, too. It was very slow, you know, he got
20:28those first jobs by applying, applying. And now he has like a few clients. But these clients, they are
20:36like a long term, like it's like ongoing, ongoing work, like because they have their businesses,
20:41e commerce, you know, some platforms, some marketplaces, and he needs to manage and because
20:46he did a good job, you know, he did like a small job, these clients, they like it, he did
20:53a bigger job,
20:54they liked it. And now they are trusting more. And now they are actually, you know, they are giving him
21:01more jobs, more opportunities, as well to work and create systems in their industry. So this is very,
21:07very important. Because, you know, even though when you go on Upwork, and you look that all you need
21:13to compete, yes, it can be it can be stressful, it can be disappointing. But at least in my personal
21:20opinion, it's not the same as you would send like 1000s of cold emails, for example, when you send
21:271000s of cold emails, in my opinion, of course, this is this is also can provide you some clients.
21:33But with Upwork, it's more tracked, you know, for example, if you got some job, if you got some,
21:41you know, active, like contract completed jobs, it's all going to be tracked, you see here, for
21:47example, right now, he has four jobs in progress, and it's all documented. This is very important,
21:53because when you send emails, you send 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, it doesn't really like,
21:59you know, kind of, you got one client good, but it doesn't have that tracking, like, you know,
22:05tracking weight, when you have clients that are coming to Upwork, they can leave a review,
22:09you can see some, there is some work history, there is some sort of, you know, your profile,
22:14you can receive like a top rated badge, maybe top rated plus if you continue to that. So essentially,
22:20that helps you to go faster, faster, it's like you're getting this extra boost of speed,
22:25you know, with the cold emails, it's like you really need to find some, you know, like, like,
22:32you imagine you have like multiple doors that you can enter, eventually need to find that door,
22:37which gives you that result, like clients will respond, they will order, you need to test the
22:41messaging, you need to test the bunch of things, you need to test a lot of things. So it can
22:47be also
22:47very powerful, but it allows allows more testing allows more things. Usually, if you have some results,
22:53success with the cold emails, you will usually not really share this like publicly, because
22:59if, if everyone starts to do that, it loses the value right of it. For example, if, if you record
23:07a Loom video, and you send to your client, and you know, you give them like a website critique,
23:12social media critique, you know, give that, if you do that, and you get a client, if you start talking
23:17about that, everyone's going to do that. And maybe that's not going to have the same effect as it was
23:22by, you know, you just using it. So it's tricky. Plus, you're not seeing the competition, you're not
23:27seeing but the competition is huge. So many people are sending these emails, I'm getting these emails,
23:31like maybe 10 emails per day, we've just people are offering me leads, people are offering me different
23:36things. And it's just, yeah, it's, it's, it's, in my opinion, a lot more stressful. So looking at Upwork,
23:44and giving the Upwork chance for 2026, especially if you are still like half time, for example, you
23:50have your Fiverr, you have like some time you want to explore, I will suggest that's why I put here,
23:56build a system first, like on Fiverr, build a system, and then try Upwork and then try Upwork,
24:01try to go on Upwork and see. For me personally, I'm not sure if I will want to go on
24:08Upwork because
24:08I just think that for me, even though I have it as my plan, I'm still so what we have,
24:16I actually
24:16have for my wife, Mila, she has her Upwork account, it's it's been quiet. And I would rather try to
24:24to
24:24kind of like, to help her build that sort of reputation on the Upwork. For me personally,
24:31people know me from Fiverr, people know me from Instagram, people know you guys are watching YouTube.
24:36So for me, it's a little bit tricky to to just, you know, go on Upwork and try to do
24:40the same,
24:40although it can be a good challenge, it can be a good challenge, and it can be a great story
24:45for
24:45this channel as well. So I'm still I haven't like 100% decided on this. But I'm still thinking that
24:52I
24:53should try this more, because I'm always happy to take some challenges. And you know, especially,
24:58I think this is the most important when you're just getting started. This is the most important
25:03like this is the, you know, you like you want to see these steps, you want to see this first
25:07results,
25:08because they're the most the hardest ones. Once you already have some reputation, you usually like,
25:12for example, now, on my Fiverr profile, every day, I will get like, maybe seven, 10, or more like new
25:19messages, people that just finding out me and they're sending messages. So it's maybe a little bit
25:23easier. So again, if you are thinking about the freelancing, I will highly suggest you to look
25:29into the platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, there are other platforms as well. But I suggest to focus on
25:34those two, that's going to be more than enough, and try to establish those first relationship with
25:40clients, have good relationship with clients. Because if the client, if the business of the client is
25:45legit, they will be happy to invest more. And if you can bring them the value, they will be happy
25:50to,
25:50you know, kind of stay with you, and they don't want to change another person, another provider,
25:55they'll be happy to work with you. My other plan is to integrate my services for other agencies,
26:01agencies, freelancers, marketers. So as you guys seen, I spoke to other, let's say sellers,
26:13I honestly believe we have a very, very good service for Instagram. Instagram has been a very,
26:19very powerful service for us. And I honestly believe we have a great service. And we can
26:24do this service for other sellers. Because the problem here is that this whole Instagram growth
26:29industry is very unpredictable. And I believe, I feel that we have the actual solution that helps
26:39grow accounts. And what we need, we need freelancers, like marketers, freelancers,
26:44agencies like you, you know, who are, have already clients, and you want to scale this more. But you
26:49want to scale this not by adding team members or learning something new, but using a system that
26:54already works. So that's what we are, we're doing right now, especially for 2026. We are building a
27:01dashboard for like a very powerful dashboard for agencies to use that they can monitor what is
27:08happening, they can make changes, they can make other things. So if you're interested, you can also send
27:12me a message on Instagram, if you have sent me a message before, just send me a message again. And
27:17I'll be happy to share more details. But this is something that my plan is as well for 2026. And
27:23again, guys, if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment, I'll be happy to go, I'll be
27:28going
27:28live as well, more in, you know, in the end of this year, December, and also in next year, my
27:34plan is to
27:35also go live a lot more, give you more feedback, give you more tips, give you more strategies. So
27:41thank you so much again, for your support. Let me know if any questions, send me a message on
27:46Instagram, check out freelance hustle, use a two weeks free trial, you can use the launch as well.
27:51And thank you again for your support and see you in the next video.
