Detailed Plot Summary for YouTube
Hilda and the Mountain King picks up immediately after the season 2 finale, The Stone Forest, with Hilda waking up in the body of a troll due to a changeling spell cast by Trylla, who placed her baby Baba in Hilda’s place. Hilda, now a troll, flees Trylla but is petrified by sunlight outside the Stone Forest. Meanwhile, in Trolberg, Hilda’s mother Johanna discovers the human baby troll and, with the help of Tontu, realizes Hilda has been transformed.

At night, Hilda unpetrifies and meets Trundle, a massive blind troll imprisoned in a cave by bells. He offers to help her become human again if she completes three tasks. She reluctantly returns to Trylla, learning that trolls hear a mysterious call drawing them toward Trolberg. Back in the city, Erik Ahlberg imposes a curfew due to rising troll activity, and Frida and David protest a misleading safety video about trolls.

Hilda begins her tasks: delivering troll mead to Trundle and using stolen pillows to silence and remove the bells trapping him. She learns from Trylla about the Mountain King, a legendary troll who once tried to attack Trolberg. When Johanna and Alfur find the Stone Forest entrance, trolls block it, forcing them to flee.

Frustrated, Frida attempts a failed body-swap spell. Trundle then sends Hilda on her final task: retrieving a large red orb from the Mountain King’s ruins. Upon touching it, Hilda sees a vision of a giant troll resembling her mother looming over Trolberg. As she flees with the orb, she’s attacked by a bearded troll.

Meanwhile, Ahlberg, Johanna, Baba, Alfur, and Tontu arrive at the Stone Forest. Baba opens the entrance just as Hilda bursts out, chased by the bearded troll. A fight ensues—Ahlberg is knocked out, and the troll crashes Johanna’s car before falling into a ravine. Hilda and Johanna reunite and bring the orb to Trundle. Trylla appears, reuniting with Baba and reversing the changeling spell—Hilda becomes human again, and Baba a troll.

Trundle then breaks free, revealing the orb is his eye. Now able to see, he declares himself the Mountain King and rallies the trolls to attack Trolberg. In the city, Frida uses magic to connect with a troll and sees the same vision—of a colossal mother troll beneath Trolberg. Trundle destroys belltowers but is stopped by his brother, the bearded troll, whom he refuses to fight.

As the Safety Patrol prepares to attack, Hilda realizes the mother troll—Amma, the ancient matriarch of all trolls—will awaken and destroy Trolberg if provoked. When Ahlberg ignores her, she throws Trundle’s eye at him, forcing him to see the vision. He halts the attack.

The trolls gather peacefully around Amma, who lies beneath the city. Having slept for centuries to avoid disturbing humans, she is finally reconnected with her children, who begin sprouting plants. Ahlberg resigns, handing control to Gerda Gustav, who declares an annual “Night of the Trolls” for peaceful reunions.

00:04:01She was in Hilda's bed.
00:04:04Bebba!
00:04:06Yes, just like I said.
00:04:08I made breakfast, went in,
00:04:10and she was just there, and Hilda wasn't.
00:04:15Unless...
00:04:18You couldn't be, Hilda, could you, somehow?
00:04:28In light of your recent escapades with trolls,
00:04:32I'd say this is a changeling.
00:04:35A what?
00:04:36A swap.
00:04:37A troll child in human form
00:04:39who's taken Hilda's place.
00:04:42Hang on.
00:04:45You're the little troll from inside the mountain.
00:04:48Tin, I do recognize you.
00:04:50But if you're here and you're like this,
00:04:53then that means Hilda must be...
00:05:06I don't understand.
00:05:08This is the place, isn't it, Twig?
00:05:10Where we escaped.
00:05:12Then shouldn't there be a cave?
00:05:14Somewhere?
00:05:15Well, we won't find it just by standing here.
00:05:17Let's look around and keep an eye on...
00:05:19Baba.
00:05:21Baba!
00:05:31Oh, there's so many of them.
00:05:36Do you think one of these could be...
00:05:40That's 11 or 12.
00:05:42All right, so that's a good job.
00:05:42Oh, safety patrol.
00:05:45I wonder what they're up to.
00:05:50Good morning.
00:05:51Good morning.
00:05:52Good morning.
00:05:53Looking good.
00:05:54Ooh, good to see you.
00:05:56Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:06:00We've all seen the fires in the hills.
00:06:02You've no doubt heard rumors about
00:06:04sudden increases in troll numbers and so on.
00:06:07And I want you to know
00:06:08I hear your concerns.
00:06:10That is why I am here to announce
00:06:13a curfew on all
00:06:15beyond-wall activity
00:06:17after sundown.
00:06:19That's a good job, bitch.
00:06:21In addition,
00:06:22I pledge today
00:06:23to once more put a man
00:06:25or woman
00:06:26in every tower
00:06:27along our historic wall.
00:06:29Applications for
00:06:30volunteer bell ringers
00:06:32are now open.
00:06:35Yes, you there.
00:06:36Are the rumors true?
00:06:38Is there a danger
00:06:39of an attack?
00:06:40Well, of course.
00:06:43But that
00:06:44is why I am here.
00:06:46My people are out there
00:06:47belling troll rocks
00:06:49even as we speak.
00:06:50And not only that,
00:06:52we've been preparing
00:06:53for an eventuality like this
00:06:54for quite some time.
00:06:57Our technology
00:06:57is more effective
00:06:59than ever.
00:06:59I present to you
00:07:00our state-of-the-art
00:07:02trollbuster
00:07:03mobile
00:07:03light cannon.
00:07:09Imagine, for a moment,
00:07:11a dedicated fleet
00:07:12of these
00:07:13babies
00:07:13guarding every corner
00:07:15of our fair city.
00:07:20A fleet, sir?
00:07:22You are aware
00:07:23we have just one
00:07:24trollbuster vehicle.
00:07:25They don't need
00:07:26to know that.
00:07:29Good citizens,
00:07:30please be reassured.
00:07:32your safety
00:07:34is safe with me.
00:07:36Now there's a man
00:07:37who's got the right idea.
00:07:39I do feel safer
00:07:40with an old bird
00:07:41protecting us.
00:07:42I didn't feel safer
00:07:43now we're stuck
00:07:43on a mountain with him.
00:07:44Of course you didn't.
00:07:46You were surrounded
00:07:46by trolls.
00:07:48We were so worried, sweetie.
00:07:50He did get you back
00:07:51safely, though,
00:07:52didn't he?
00:07:55Where are you up to?
00:07:56We said you don't have
00:07:58to go to school today,
00:07:59remember?
00:08:00I'd rather do
00:08:01something than sit
00:08:02here all day
00:08:03watching trash TV.
00:08:20Hey!
00:08:21You're here!
00:08:22No thanks to my parents.
00:08:24Yours too?
00:08:25I just want things
00:08:26to get back to normal
00:08:27as quickly as possible.
00:08:28How's your leg?
00:08:30It's still a bit sore,
00:08:32but it feels much better.
00:08:35No sign of Hilda?
00:08:37She and her mum
00:08:38went through a lot.
00:08:39We might not need
00:08:40the time off,
00:08:41but I'm not surprised
00:08:42that she does.
00:08:44Come on,
00:08:45let's get to class.
00:08:48Now, children,
00:08:50I'm sorry to say
00:08:51our regularly scheduled
00:08:52lesson is cancelled today.
00:08:56Instead, we have a visitor,
00:08:59Officer Selby
00:09:00from the Trollberg
00:09:01Safety Patrol.
00:09:03Hello.
00:09:04He's brought a video.
00:09:11Trolls.
00:09:13Fearsome.
00:09:15Bloodthirsty.
00:09:16With a taste
00:09:17for human flesh.
00:09:19But are they really
00:09:20so dangerous?
00:09:22Yes.
00:09:23Um, Miss Holgram.
00:09:26Miss Holgram.
00:09:29Frida.
00:09:30This isn't true.
00:09:32They don't have a taste
00:09:33for human flesh.
00:09:34They like vegetables
00:09:35as much as anything.
00:09:36I'm Jort.
00:09:37If you could save
00:09:39your thoughts
00:09:39until after the video.
00:09:43Trolls and humans
00:09:44may be natural enemies.
00:09:46We are not natural enemies.
00:09:49Frida, please.
00:09:50The heroic endeavors
00:09:51of Safety Patrol
00:09:52have kept the peace
00:09:54for the citizens
00:09:55of Trollberg
00:09:56for generations
00:09:56by remaining vigilant
00:09:58and staying one step
00:10:00ahead of the threat
00:10:01at every turn.
00:10:03But it wasn't
00:10:04always so easy.
00:10:05When man first
00:10:07came to this valley,
00:10:09savage attacks
00:10:10by trolls
00:10:10were tragically common.
00:10:12Our ancestors
00:10:14may not have survived
00:10:15if it wasn't
00:10:16for one thing.
00:10:17The symbol
00:10:18of Trollberg.
00:10:20The humble bell.
00:10:24Now,
00:10:25under the leadership
00:10:26of Eric Alberg,
00:10:27head officer
00:10:29of Safety...
00:10:30Hey, hey, you can't.
00:10:31Miss Holgram,
00:10:32with all due respect,
00:10:33I can say
00:10:34with first-hand experience
00:10:35that none of that
00:10:37is true.
00:10:38Trolls aren't just
00:10:39mindless people eaters.
00:10:40My grandfather
00:10:41was eaten by a troll.
00:10:42No way!
00:10:43They're evil.
00:10:44They're not!
00:10:45My great-grandmother
00:10:46raised a troll
00:10:47that she found
00:10:47in her garden.
00:10:48Yeah, it probably
00:10:49grew up to eat
00:10:50my grandfather.
00:10:51It didn't!
00:10:52Children!
00:10:53My parents say
00:10:54they steal children.
00:10:55That's not true!
00:10:56Are you calling
00:10:57my parents liars?
00:10:58I'm calling you stupid!
00:11:00Listen!
00:11:01Most of you
00:11:02have spent
00:11:02your whole lives
00:11:03in Trollberg.
00:11:04Have you ever heard
00:11:05of anyone actually
00:11:06being eaten by a troll?
00:11:08No.
00:11:08No.
00:11:10You shouldn't have
00:11:11to sit here
00:11:11and be taught lies.
00:11:12And I won't.
00:11:14I can't believe
00:11:15algebra was cancelled
00:11:16for this.
00:11:30Hilda!
00:11:33Hilda!
00:11:35Hilda!
00:11:36We've been
00:11:37searching all day.
00:11:38Are we walking
00:11:39in circles?
00:11:40I don't think so.
00:11:42How have we not
00:11:43found a single cave?
00:11:45She's in there!
00:11:46I know it!
00:11:47But if we can't
00:11:48get in...
00:11:49Ow!
00:11:50Ugh!
00:11:51Um, excuse me.
00:11:52Excuse me, miss.
00:11:53Is everything
00:11:54okay here?
00:11:55Fine!
00:11:56Everything's fine.
00:11:57It's not safe
00:11:58for you to be
00:11:59outside the walls
00:12:00so late in the day,
00:12:01ma'am.
00:12:01Much less your...
00:12:04children.
00:12:05May I ask
00:12:06what you're doing
00:12:07out here?
00:12:07Perhaps you haven't
00:12:08heard about the curfew.
00:12:10Curfew?
00:12:10Oh, oh,
00:12:11we're looking for...
00:12:18Berries.
00:12:19You know,
00:12:20to make jam.
00:12:21But please,
00:12:21do no such thing.
00:12:23Those berries
00:12:23are intensely
00:12:24poisonous, ma'am.
00:12:27Oh, I knew that.
00:12:28No!
00:12:29I didn't mean
00:12:30these berries.
00:12:34Sir?
00:12:36They're stirring.
00:12:39I'm going to have
00:12:40to ask you to leave.
00:12:41Please don't make me
00:12:42insist.
00:12:43Right.
00:12:44Well then.
00:12:45Let's go,
00:12:46children.
00:12:47This way.
00:12:50Meow.
00:12:51Meow.
00:12:53Mm.
00:12:54Ah.
00:12:55Why did you
00:12:56lie to him?
00:12:57Because they're
00:12:57looking for the same
00:12:58thing we are,
00:12:58Tonti.
00:12:59But I'm not sure
00:13:00we're on the same
00:13:01side.
00:13:28I was going home.
00:13:51Huh?
00:13:53Huh?
00:13:54Ah!
00:14:07The sound of them, that little one was one thing, the ones on the wall were going to
00:14:14kill me.
00:14:24The sound of them, that little one was going to kill me.
00:14:54Hey, in here.
00:15:08What are you hiding from?
00:15:10A troll.
00:15:12Are you not a troll?
00:15:14No.
00:15:15Are you sure about that?
00:15:39I'm sorry.
00:15:40You're hiding from a troll and you found a troll.
00:15:44That must be quite annoying.
00:15:47I'm Trondle, by the way, if you're interested.
00:15:54Hilda, you're a lot bigger than the troll I'm hiding from.
00:15:58Yes, it's a shame.
00:16:05If I wasn't, then maybe I could get out of here as easily as you got in.
00:16:12They're bells.
00:16:13You're trapped in here.
00:16:15Don't worry yourself about it.
00:16:21I guess neither of us are where we want to be.
00:16:25I didn't know it was like this.
00:16:28How am I ever going to get home with these things in the way?
00:16:30Home?
00:16:32Yes, home.
00:16:34Trollberg.
00:16:35What would you do once you were there?
00:16:37You're a troll.
00:16:38They built a big wall to keep you out, you know.
00:16:49You're welcome to stay here as long as you want.
00:16:53I know it's not much.
00:16:56Is it...
00:16:58Is it permanent?
00:17:00It depends.
00:17:02The other trolls won't tell you this.
00:17:04But there is a way to change you back.
00:17:12There is?
00:17:14It's an old magic, rarely practiced.
00:17:19In theory, I could do it, but not in my present state.
00:17:26I would need you to do a few things for me.
00:17:30What?
00:17:31Anything.
00:17:33Name it, and I'll do it.
00:17:35And this would have to remain between you and me.
00:17:40No one else can know.
00:17:43Whatever.
00:17:44Just tell me.
00:17:45Well...
00:17:46First, I could really use a drink.
00:17:51Some troll need would be nice.
00:17:53Hilda!
00:17:56Hilda!
00:17:58It's that troll.
00:17:59She won't give up.
00:18:00You should go to her.
00:18:02Hilda!
00:18:03Are you crazy?
00:18:04She's the one that did this to me.
00:18:06You may find this hard to understand, but there was a kindness in her magic.
00:18:13She won't allow any harm to come to you.
00:18:16In fact, she will take care of you as though you were her own child.
00:18:22Yeah, well, definitely not.
00:18:26Nevertheless...
00:18:27Hilda!
00:18:28As long as you are out here, that troll is your mother.
00:18:34And a mother's love should not be taken for granted.
00:18:45I should still be out there looking for her.
00:18:47We should never have come home.
00:18:49No, you need rest.
00:18:51Besides, it's no good if you get yourself eaten.
00:18:54She really is quite resourceful, that daughter of yours.
00:18:57I'm sure she's made some...arrangements.
00:19:01She shouldn't have to make...
00:19:02Oh!
00:19:03Please!
00:19:04Can you just...
00:19:07Oh!
00:19:12You stupid!
00:19:14Stupid!
00:19:17Hey, I'm sorry.
00:19:19I didn't mean to shout.
00:19:19I...
00:19:22Hey, hey.
00:19:23It's gonna be okay.
00:19:24I've got you.
00:19:26Shhh.
00:19:27Come on.
00:19:27Papa!
00:19:38I still don't really understand why.
00:19:40Why you did it.
00:19:42My daughter is a gentle soul.
00:19:44You've seen what it can be like out here.
00:19:46Turning to stone.
00:19:48The bells.
00:19:50This is no place for her at the best of times.
00:19:53And there's trouble brewing.
00:19:57Even so, you can't just swap people like that.
00:20:00It's kidnapping.
00:20:07What is that?
00:20:10It's like a sound, but more of a feeling.
00:20:14I-I can't hear it, but I know it's there.
00:20:17We all feel it.
00:20:18I don't know what it is, but it's always been there.
00:20:21Calling us towards the city.
00:20:24Have you ever wondered why we stay here among these particular mountains,
00:20:28when we are so clearly unwelcome?
00:20:31I always thought it was pretty obvious.
00:20:33You were here long before Chorbrook was.
00:20:39I don't think I ever realized there were this many of you out here.
00:20:43The calling has become stronger lately.
00:20:47It's bringing more and more of us out of the mountains each night.
00:20:52The humans have noticed.
00:20:55I'm sure they imagine there's some kind of plan to storm the city.
00:20:59There isn't though, right?
00:21:02Of course not.
00:21:03But that's not the point.
00:21:05There are some that want to lash out.
00:21:07To answer the call the only way they can.
00:21:19But could they really do anything?
00:21:22With the wall and those bells?
00:21:25Maybe not.
00:21:27It'll be sunrise soon.
00:21:28We should rest.
00:21:30Big day tomorrow.
00:21:31What are we doing?
00:21:33Showing you how to be a troll.
00:21:44No!
00:21:53Perhaps we could erect some kind of large net to catch anything thrown over and prevent...
00:22:00No, no, no.
00:22:00That doesn't capture the imagination enough.
00:22:04They need something to look towards, not practical solutions.
00:22:08But, sir, given the...
00:22:10What's this?
00:22:10That is a gun, sir.
00:22:12It utilizes a compact version of the technology from the trollbuster cannon, but...
00:22:17Yes.
00:22:18This could be just the thing.
00:22:20But, sir, that is a one-of-a-kind untested prototype.
00:22:23I am not sure it even works.
00:22:26Come, Gerda.
00:22:27The people await.
00:22:33Boulders are just big stones.
00:22:36And thrown stones are no match for the latest in state-of-the-art troll deterrence.
00:22:40This baby will turn a full-sized troll into a harmless pile of gravel.
00:22:45If Hilda is how we think she is, Tonto, we need to find her before they do.
00:22:49We should be out there looking.
00:22:51Bubba, shoes on.
00:22:56Why don't I stay here and look after her?
00:22:59We'll only slow you down anyway.
00:23:01You'll cover more ground.
00:23:02If you're sure.
00:23:03Between Alfa and I, I think we can handle her.
00:23:06Actually, uh...
00:23:09Cedric here and I are going to help out with the search.
00:23:12Oh.
00:23:12I see.
00:23:14Beep.
00:23:34Get out of here.
00:23:35Get out, like this...
00:23:35Expanding him anymore.
00:23:39As long as she was not a disaster.
00:23:46Keep in mind someone hits a little bit.
00:23:47Not sure.
00:23:48P Rawr becomes a bad sinking.
00:23:51Your spirits are mentally unaware.
00:23:52I instill upеко through the remeld Chris'обрys deprivation.
00:23:52Not sure.
00:23:53And eventually it's complete.

00:25:14sir forgive my pointing it out but you know the effects these bells have should we not be looking at
00:25:20ways to calm the situation rather than stir it up you see this
00:25:26this is what we're up against
00:25:27cowards they turn to stone rather than face me and the rest slink off and disappear once the sun is

00:26:34Silence the Bells!
00:26:36Silence the Bells!
00:26:38All birds bells!
00:26:40Silence the Bells!
00:26:41Silence the Bells?
00:26:43Exactly whose side are you on?
00:26:45We're on the side of peace and communication.
00:26:47The enemies of misinformation and fear.
00:26:51Oh, really?
00:26:52Well, I'd love to hear what your teachers have to say about that.
00:26:54Their teacher is very proud of them and would ask you to move along.
00:27:00Silence the Bells!
00:27:02Silence the Bells!
00:27:03Silence the Bells!
00:27:05Silence the Bells!
00:27:07Silence the Bells!
00:27:09Silence the Bells!
00:27:12David, what's this about?
00:27:14It's my mum.
00:27:14She's only gone and volunteered through one of Owlberg's emergency bell ringers.
00:27:19And I'm guessing she wouldn't approve of all this.
00:27:23Oh, I can't face the conversation.
00:27:26Huh, still got it.
00:27:28Ah!
00:27:32Tante!
00:27:32Oh, you got her.
00:27:35Thanks, guys.
00:27:36Who's this?
00:27:37Oh, you think you can help me get her back home?
00:27:40I'll explain on the way.
00:27:43Hilda's a troll!
00:27:45Yes, it's not ideal.
00:27:47Oh, boy.
00:27:48The question is, what are we going to do about it?
00:27:51Well, you're a witch.
00:27:52Is there a spell or something that could turn her back?
00:27:54There has to be.
00:27:56Come on, let's ask Kaiser.
00:27:59What do I do with my jumper?
00:28:01Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm.
00:28:07Baba!
00:28:08Ugh.
00:28:12Body swapping.
00:28:13I think this is the book you're looking for.
00:28:16Thanks!
00:28:17Wait.
00:28:17Whose bodies are we swapping?
00:28:19Hilda's!
00:28:20She's been swapped with the troll changeling child,
00:28:22and we need to change her back.
00:28:24Ah.
00:28:25That's not going to work, I'm afraid.
00:28:28What?
00:28:28Why?
00:28:29Why?
00:28:29Troll magic.
00:28:31It just works differently.
00:28:33You can't counter a troll spell with witch magic.
00:28:36They don't combine.
00:28:38At all.
00:28:38But...
00:28:39On top of that, witches do not like to get involved in troll affairs.
00:28:43It's kind of a protocol thing that the council would love to explain to you in detail.
00:28:49But this is Hilda we're talking about.
00:28:51You know her.
00:28:53I do.
00:28:54And so I know she'll find her own way out of this.
00:28:57You seriously can't help?
00:29:10Whoa.
00:29:12Yes.
00:29:18Did you sleep well?
00:29:20As well as can be expected.
00:29:31Why?
00:29:33Why are we going?
00:29:34To have breakfast.
00:29:36Humans have breakfast, don't they?
00:29:51Do you think there's anything vegetarian?
00:29:55Oh.
00:29:57Oh.
00:29:58It's okay if you want a nibble on my leaf.
00:30:02Oh.
00:30:05A drink for you?
00:30:07Mm.
00:30:12Oh, I love this stuff.
00:30:14What is it?
00:30:15That's troll meat.
00:30:16Powerful stuff.
00:30:18Just to sit will keep a thing like you running for days.
00:30:22You know, I think I'm gonna go stretch my legs if that's okay.
00:30:26I won't be long.
00:30:27Okay.
00:30:27Hm.
00:30:28Too much troll meat.
00:30:30Hey, who's got it anyway?
00:30:36Ah, that's the stuff.
00:30:38I feel like I could pull the horns of a forest giant.
00:30:44Is that a good thing?
00:30:47It's something.
00:30:50So, what's next?
00:30:52Next?
00:30:53Yes, next.
00:30:54What's the next thing I need to do for you to turn me back?
00:30:56Oh.
00:30:58No time to chat?
00:31:01Uh...
00:31:01No, no.
00:31:03You're in a hurry.
00:31:04Who'd want to be a troll longer than they have to be?
00:31:09I'm sorry, I didn't...
00:31:10The next thing I would ask of you is that you remove those dreadful bells from my front door.
00:31:19What?
00:31:20How am I supposed to do that?
00:31:22If I knew, I would have done it myself.
00:31:28Tell me, why are there so many bells here?
00:31:32Someone obviously didn't want you to leave.
00:31:34They were worried enough about you to put a bell on your nose.
00:31:39What do you think they make of me?
00:31:43Hm.
00:31:44If it's too much trouble...
00:31:47No.
00:31:49I'll figure it out.
00:31:56What is it, Twig?
00:31:57Do you smell something?
00:32:05Trolls.
00:32:06I don't see her with them, but look!
00:32:08The cave!
00:32:09I knew it was round here.
00:32:11It looks like they're on the move.
00:32:19It looks like they're on the move.
00:32:19Hey, you!
00:32:20Wait!
00:32:21Don't walk away from me!
00:32:26What?
00:32:27What?
00:32:27No!
00:32:28No!
00:32:28No!
00:32:29Open up!
00:32:29Give her back to me!
00:32:32Oh!
00:32:43Just give me a minute, okay, Twig?
00:32:49Uh, Joanna!
00:32:51Oh.
00:32:53Okay, now.
00:32:55Don't panic.
00:32:57There's no reason to believe they aren't friendly.
00:33:00Hello!
00:33:01I... I don't mean any harm.
00:33:03I'm looking for my daughter.
00:33:05You see, I think she might have been...
00:33:08No!
00:33:09Please, I don't!
00:33:09Ah!
00:33:10Ow!
00:33:12Ow!
00:33:13Ow!
00:33:15Ow!
00:33:18Ow!
00:33:19Ow!
00:33:20Ow!
00:33:22Ow!
00:33:24Ow!
00:33:26Ow!
00:33:32Ow!
00:33:34Ow!
00:33:35Ow!
00:33:36Ow!
00:33:38Ow!
00:33:39Ow!
00:33:39Ow!
00:33:46Don't, don't, don't, don't!
00:34:12Sorry for wandering off before.
00:34:15Why would someone apologize for wandering?
00:34:17Well, I...
00:34:19You didn't miss anything.
00:34:20We caught the scent of some trolls looking to steal our food, so we left.
00:34:24Why would they do that?
00:34:26Shouldn't you all be friends?
00:34:28You mean how all humans are friends?
00:34:31There are all kinds of trolls here.
00:34:34All with different ideas and priorities.
00:34:36Good, bad, stupid.
00:34:39It can be hard to find common ground.
00:34:41Well, it's a shame you can't work together more.
00:34:43You need, like, some lords or a leader or something.
00:34:47Come.
00:34:48I should show you something.
00:34:58What is that place?
00:35:00That was once the home of a troll that called himself the Mountain King.
00:35:06Mountain King?
00:35:07He was the only one that ever managed to unite any real number of us around a single idea.
00:35:14That's the sort of thing I'm talking about.
00:35:16What idea?
00:35:17To lead an army of trolls to attack the city.
00:35:21Oh.
00:35:22Hmm.
00:35:23What happened to him?
00:35:40The idea proved to be quite popular.
00:36:07No troll has tried to crown themselves king or queen since.
00:36:13Maybe you don't need a leader, then.
00:36:19All right.
00:36:20The spell says we need organic matter.
00:36:23Luckily, I found some of Hilda's hair tangled in this random stick she left here for some reason.
00:36:28But the troll kid.
00:36:30Oh.
00:36:31I've got just the thing.
00:36:33Perfect.
00:36:36Okay.
00:36:37Then that should be it.
00:36:39I hope this works.
00:36:42Me too.
00:36:45Gavarsin.
00:36:46Gavarsin.
00:36:48Gavarsin.
00:36:50Gavarsin.
00:36:51Uh, maybe you should check the footnotes.
00:36:56This place is really something.
00:36:59You think so?
00:37:00Apart from breakfast and not getting robbed, what do we do all day?
00:37:03Well, the same as humans, I suppose.
00:37:06Whatever we want.
00:37:07We don't do whatever we want.
00:37:09We have to go to school and have jobs and schedules.
00:37:12You don't want to do those things.
00:37:14Not really.
00:37:15That might just be you.
00:37:17And the sort of thing that made me think you'd like it here.
00:37:21Hmm.
00:37:23What do we do?
00:37:24Hmm.
00:37:25We drink.
00:37:26Eat.
00:37:28Think.
00:37:29Wander.
00:37:30Throw each other.
00:37:32Throw each other?
00:37:33Yes.
00:37:34You know.
00:37:35Wait!
00:37:40It's like a game.
00:37:48See?
00:37:49You're getting the hang of it already.
00:37:58What are the piles of junk all about?
00:38:00We gather it.
00:38:01Things the humans have dumped or don't seem to need anymore.
00:38:10What does she want with that?
00:38:12It's probably for her hoard.
00:38:14Hordes?
00:38:15I've read about troll treasure hordes.
00:38:17I'm sure that you have.
00:38:19Let me show you.
00:38:24The treasure you're probably thinking of is quite hard to come by these days.
00:38:29Modern trolls tend to focus on a more modest and curated collection.
00:38:33Like what?
00:38:34Cart parts.
00:38:36Barrels, buckets, and pine cones.
00:38:38Buns!
00:38:39What do you collect?
00:38:40Soft furnishings.
00:38:43What?
00:38:49Oh, my God.
00:38:51Oh, this is more like it.
00:39:02I'm sick of saying
00:39:04Look, there's the troll kid
00:39:12And there's Hilda
00:39:18Is that meant to be happening?
00:39:20I don't think so
00:39:47I guess that's what Kaizen meant by
00:39:49Doesn't combine well
00:39:51Yeah
00:39:52Don't worry, we'll find some other non-bucket-related way to help
00:39:55You know, when we saw her, it kind of looked like...
00:39:59She was enjoying herself
00:40:09You having fun?
00:40:10Are you kidding?
00:40:12With this troll body, I feel like I could run a hundred miles
00:40:17Oh, lift up the entire mountain!
00:40:26There's so much space out here
00:40:29You know, roads, cars, fences and walls
00:40:36I'd forgotten
00:40:38I'd forgotten
00:40:39Race you to the top of the mountain?
00:40:53What do you think?
00:40:58It beats the view from my bedroom window
00:41:10There's so much room around here
00:41:10Wheeler
00:41:10Hey, bills and naked
00:41:13Are you sure?
00:41:15Yes 싹, yes
00:41:17There's so much room
00:41:18It's going on
00:41:18Oh, yeah, that's outside
00:41:19What have you decided?
00:41:19You have something right
00:41:24highest
00:41:24What have you decided?
00:41:44So, weird question.
00:41:46Do I have a troll dad anywhere?
00:41:49No. Why?
00:41:51No reason.
00:41:53Trolls aren't usually born in the sense that you are.
00:41:56You mean, you don't have a mum?
00:41:59There was a troll once. A mother to all of us.
00:42:03But she died a long time ago.
00:42:12My daughter came to me.
00:42:14But we are all the children of the stones and the earth.
00:42:19You miss her already, don't you?
00:42:22Your daughter.
00:42:39Do you have a horde? You must collect something.
00:42:42I don't need much to feel content.
00:42:44But I do have this.
00:42:49I know it's not much.
00:42:53I think it's wonderful.
00:42:55Well, they're yours now.
00:42:58I've had a nice time today.
00:42:59But don't you see how wrong this all is?
00:43:02Maybe this place isn't perfect for your daughter.
00:43:04But you've made things really nice for her.
00:43:06There's nothing on the other side of that wall that's better for her than this.
00:43:11This is a home.
00:43:13Her home.
00:43:14And she should be here with you.
00:43:16Hmm.
00:43:17Maybe I have made a mistake.
00:43:20So make it right.
00:43:23Change us back.
00:43:24I know you can do it.
00:43:26I can't.
00:43:27What's done is done.
00:43:28I don't know a way.
00:43:31It's been a long day.
00:43:33We should sleep.
00:43:35Are you telling me the truth?
00:43:37You're not just saying that to keep me here.
00:43:40I'm sorry.
00:43:45I'm sorry.
00:43:46I'm sorry.
00:43:47I'm sorry.
00:43:50I'm sorry.
00:43:51I'm sorry.
00:43:52But half the world beats awake.
00:43:56And when I can't sleep, I imagine I'm without you, til my eyes start to wake.
00:44:07In my deepest hope
00:44:14The marrow of my heart
00:44:23Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
00:44:28Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
00:44:33I remind myself when I'm in the darkness
00:44:57Very good, very good
00:45:01I knew your human trickery would get the job done
00:45:06Right, what next?
00:45:17You sleep?
00:45:19No
00:45:20Did you hear the trolls roaring last night?
00:45:23It's like they were taunting me
00:45:24How's your scratch?
00:45:26It's not too bad
00:45:28You could have been eaten
00:45:31I know
00:45:33Today has got to be the day
00:45:35We have got to get her back
00:45:38I don't think we can do it on our own
00:45:44We know all about Hilda
00:45:46And we want to help
00:45:52So what's the plan?
00:45:54Well, first, we just have to make a quick stop
00:46:02Baba
00:46:03Wait, this is my house
00:46:06What are you doing?
00:46:07I'm so grateful that you want to help
00:46:09I really am
00:46:10You are the best friends Hilda could have
00:46:12But it's not right to drag you kids into this
00:46:14I'm sorry
00:46:15Hey
00:46:16Wait
00:46:17Wait
00:46:20Didn't see that coming
00:46:32Captain
00:46:32Ah
00:46:34Is it good news, officer?
00:46:36A new lead?
00:46:37It's someone to see you, sir
00:46:38They say it's urgent
00:46:43Transformed
00:46:43Into a troll
00:46:45I know it sounds strange
00:46:47Nothing entirely surprises me anymore
00:46:50Dara, how do you think we can help you?
00:46:52You're safety patrol, aren't you?
00:46:54It's too dangerous out there
00:46:55But not for someone who has one of those
00:46:58You want an armed escort?
00:47:01For my safety
00:47:02That's quite a request
00:47:04And, you know, you're welcome to file a report
00:47:07But, unfortunately, I can't just say
00:47:08Help me, and I'll show you how to get inside the mountain
00:47:14I will escort you
00:47:16Larson
00:47:19Yes, sir
00:47:21Understood, sir
00:47:22You can count on me, sir
00:47:24Goodbye
00:47:27Allberg has just put me in temporary command
00:47:30Of all of safety patrol
00:47:32So you can't help us
00:47:34I'm sorry, children
00:47:35I suddenly have quite a lot to do
00:47:39This is ridiculous
00:47:40Everyone we've turned to either can't help, won't help, or won't let us help
00:47:45Flipping grown-ups
00:47:47Did you hear the news this morning?
00:47:49Apparently there were so many troll rocks outside the town gate
00:47:52No cars could get through
00:47:54I'm telling you, there's going to be an attack or something
00:47:56Mark my words
00:47:58Oh, I don't know who else to turn to
00:48:02What would Hilda do?
00:48:04She'd probably go and ask a troll
00:48:05David, that's it
00:48:07We should talk to the trolls
00:48:08But, Frida
00:48:09Trolls can't talk
00:48:11I know
00:48:12But perhaps they don't need to
00:48:14Do you remember the kraken?
00:48:17The giant tentacle monster island thing
00:48:20Yep
00:48:21Never, ever gonna forget that
00:48:22I was able to tap into its thoughts and kind of
00:48:25Speak to it
00:48:27Mind to mind
00:48:28If I can do that with a troll, then maybe it can help us find Hilda
00:48:31It'll be hard getting out there, though, with the curfew
00:48:41My mum, she's going to be on bell duty at one of the gates tonight
00:48:44You could distract her
00:48:46I could
00:48:48But it means you'll be out there on your own
00:48:51I don't think we've got much choice
00:48:55The final thing I ask of you
00:49:00Is to bring me something very special
00:49:07It lies in the home of the Mountain King
00:49:12His hoard is well hidden
00:49:14But I can tell you how to find it
00:49:27I don't know
00:49:45It's not much choice
00:49:57the object i require is blood red and extremely precious you will know it when you see it
00:50:23this must be it bring it to me and i will make you human once more
00:50:59wait i'm me again what is this place
00:51:15mom

00:52:19Hilda!
00:52:21Mom?
00:52:33What the heck was that?
00:52:37Still a troll.
00:52:45Come on then, Orb.
00:52:48Let's get out of here.
00:52:56I'm glad this place is abandoned.
00:53:01If that mountain king guy was still here, this whole thing would have been a lot harder.
00:53:26Baba, you ready?
00:53:30Easy.
00:53:35Aha!
00:53:41Aha!
00:53:42It works!
00:53:43Uh, should it not?
00:53:45What?
00:53:53Oh, he'll wake up in a couple of hours with a splitting headache.
00:53:56Ugh, this is the place.
00:53:58Here?
00:53:59Yeah.
00:53:59But where's the cave?
00:54:02I'll remind you, I've gone well out of my way to be here personally.
00:54:07If this turns out to be a waste of my time...
00:54:15Baba.
00:54:28There.
00:54:29There.
00:54:30That's the way in.
00:54:31Now help me find my daughter.
00:54:34Baba.
00:54:35Baba.
00:54:37Baba.
00:54:39Baba.
00:54:40Baba.
00:54:42Baba.
00:54:44Baba.
00:54:46Baba.
00:54:46Baba.
00:54:48Baba.
00:54:51Baba.
00:54:55Baba.
00:54:56Baba.
00:54:58Baba.
00:54:59Baba.
00:55:01Baba.
00:55:04Baba.
00:55:13Oh, my God.
00:55:36Oh, my God.
00:56:05Oh, I can't believe I found you.
00:56:08I didn't know what to do.
00:56:09I was losing my...
00:56:11I am so sorry.
00:56:13Mum, it's okay.
00:56:15We found each other.
00:56:16That's all that matters.
00:56:19Twig!
00:56:20Tonto, Alpha, you're all here.
00:56:22Yes.
00:56:23Yeah.
00:56:24And you.
00:56:25It's nice to see you again.
00:56:27You've been looking after my mum, I take it.
00:56:29Ah!
00:56:30Hilda, look at you.
00:56:32You're...
00:56:33You're...
00:56:34Oh!
00:56:34Ah!
00:56:35You're strong.
00:56:36I know.
00:56:37Hop on, Baba.
00:56:38There's no time to lose.
00:56:42Where are we going?
00:56:43To put everything right.
00:56:57There she is.
00:57:01It looks like the other tower is empty.
00:57:06Use your eyes.
00:57:07Try not to fall asleep.
00:57:08And that's all there is to it.
00:57:10Psst.
00:57:12Hey!
00:57:13Mum!
00:57:14Who's there?
00:57:15It's my son.
00:57:21I have it!
00:57:23I found the thing!
00:57:24Now you can change me back!
00:57:28Trundle!
00:57:31Trundle!
00:57:33Wait.
00:57:34He's always been here before.
00:57:37Hilda!
00:57:40You!
00:57:41Stay back!
00:57:42No, Mum.
00:57:43It's okay.
00:57:45I just found my daughter,
00:57:47and I won't let you take her from me again.
00:57:52The bells.
00:57:54They're...
00:57:54Hilda!
00:57:56What have you done?
00:57:57Baba?
00:58:00Baba!
00:58:01Baba!
00:58:04Baba!
00:58:08Got you!
00:58:09Take one more step towards this child beast,
00:58:13and I'll turn you to rubble.
00:58:18Our bug?
00:58:19What's he doing here?
00:58:21Oh!
00:58:21Another one!
00:58:23Put that thing away!
00:58:24That's my daughter!
00:58:26Is it?
00:58:27Are you sure?
00:58:28Perhaps she was once.
00:58:30But how can we be certain
00:58:31she's anything but
00:58:32the bloodthirsty monster she appears to be?
00:58:37Ready to turn us at any moment?
00:58:39I'm telling you,
00:58:40put that thing down,
00:58:41or I'll take it off you.
00:58:42And render me defenseless?
00:58:44Good Lord!
00:58:45They've bewitched you with the troll magic!
00:58:48Ah!
00:58:51Ah!
00:58:52Ah!
00:58:53Ah!
00:58:53Ah!
00:58:53Ah!
00:58:53I'll take that!
00:58:56Mama!
00:59:08I'm warning you!
00:59:10I'm warning you!
00:59:13Mom!
00:59:15Um, hi!
00:59:18Hilda, you're...
00:59:18Yep, I'm me again.
00:59:20And I, uh,
00:59:22I don't have any clothes.
00:59:24Oh.
00:59:25Well, perhaps Baba won't need hers anymore, so...
00:59:27Baba, Baba, Baba, Baba!
00:59:30Oh.
00:59:31Well, isn't it a good job Tom too came along?
00:59:34I brought spares.
00:59:36How has this all happened?
00:59:38Returning them to their true mothers
00:59:40must have brought the spell full circle.
00:59:43Effectively rendering the changeling contract
00:59:46null and void.
00:59:47So if this was the way to break the spell,
00:59:49then doing all that stuff was just a waste of time.
00:59:52I don't even need this freaky orb.
00:59:54Hmm.
00:59:55It was right here.
00:59:57Orb?
00:59:59Ugh!
01:00:01Where were the bells that used to hang here?
01:00:03Oh, I took them down.
01:00:05Chun-Ju said if I did,
01:00:06it would help him change me back.
01:00:07Those bells were put there a long time ago
01:00:09for a very good reason.
01:00:11This cave is a prison cell.
01:00:17The prison cell of the Mountain King.
01:00:21What?
01:00:22That doesn't make any sense.
01:00:24Oh, hey, there's my orb.
01:00:29At last.
01:00:44Trundle?
01:00:45Thank you for all your help, Hilda.
01:00:49It looks like we both got what we wanted.
01:01:01He's heading straight for Trollberg.
01:01:07We have to stop him.
01:01:11Papa!
01:01:28Okay, here we go.
01:01:33Hello.
01:01:35Can I help you with that?
01:01:49There.
01:01:50That's better, isn't it?
01:01:56All right.
01:01:57If it's okay with you,
01:01:59I just want to try something.
01:02:03You're just as nervous as me.
01:02:05You know,
01:02:05a lot of people think there's an army of you
01:02:07ready to attack Trollberg.
01:02:26Oh,
01:02:27crystal six!
01:02:30Oh!
01:02:31Oh,
01:02:33oh,
01:02:35Oh.
01:02:37Oh,
01:02:59What are they doing?
01:03:00He's going to attack the city.
01:03:02Attack the city?
01:03:04What?
01:03:05Ha!
01:03:05I don't know what you're all so concerned about.
01:03:08He's a big chap, I'll give him that.
01:03:10But he'll turn around like all the others once those bells start ringing.
01:03:16David, what's all this about?
01:03:18I know something's bothering you, but I can't help or change anything if you won't talk to me.
01:03:24I'm doing this for you, you know.
01:03:27For me?
01:03:28You're the one who...
01:03:33What's going on?
01:03:38Ha!
01:03:41Ha!
01:03:43Ha!
01:03:46Ha!
01:03:47Okay, we're leaving.
01:03:53Ha!
01:04:10Frida!
01:04:20Frida!
01:04:33Frida!
01:04:38Mom?
01:04:57Reader! Quick! Inside!
01:05:24What?
01:05:25What?
01:05:42I can't let you do this, brother.
01:05:45And what is it you think that I'm doing, exactly?
01:05:50We both know what's happening here.
01:05:53There's a reason I kept that eye from you.
01:05:56I won't fight you, brother.
01:06:15I am not here to fight anyone.
01:06:17Anyone?
01:06:19Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!
01:06:25Phew!
01:06:33Are you okay?
01:06:36I'm fine.
01:06:44Take positions!
01:06:47All eyes on that gate!
01:07:12We're too late!
01:07:14Please!
01:07:15Please!
01:07:16That wall has kept the people of Trollberg safe for hundreds of years!
01:07:20Eyes on the gate!
01:07:21And mark my words...
01:07:24Don't say it.
01:07:25It will continue to do so!
01:07:36Oh, my!
01:07:46Should we fire?
01:07:50No! Don't do anything!
01:08:00One of them's breaking away!
01:08:02One of them's breaking away!
01:08:08I can't let this happen!
01:08:09Hilda, wait!
01:08:14This is my fault.
01:08:16I can speak to them.
01:08:18Please, let me try.
01:08:21Go.
01:08:32Stop!
01:08:35Hilda!
01:08:37David!
01:08:39Mom...
01:08:40I have to.
01:08:44Don't go any further!
01:08:46I know it looks like you might win this fight,
01:08:48but there'll be more men coming.
01:08:50You'll be fighting forever!
01:08:52Everybody loses!
01:08:58Please!
01:09:12Listen to me!
01:09:14Ah!
01:09:15Frida!
01:09:16Are you okay?
01:09:18Yeah!
01:09:18What are you doing here?
01:09:19Looking for you.
01:09:21Hoping to avert disaster.
01:09:22The usual.
01:09:23I came out and made a mind connection with a troll to find out what happened to you.
01:09:27But...
01:09:27Well...
01:09:28Here you are!
01:09:29Here I am.
01:09:30And I feel like I've been here before.
01:09:34Except...
01:09:34That was me!
01:09:38Frida!
01:09:39When you did your mind connection, did you learn anything?
01:09:42It was confusing.
01:09:43But I did get something to do with...
01:09:45Their mother.
01:09:47Of course.
01:09:49That's what's been calling them to the city.
01:09:51The mother's love.
01:09:56Oh no!
01:09:57This is what he wants!
01:10:11Come any closer!
01:10:12And we will open fire!
01:10:19What's that?
01:10:20I don't know!
01:10:21But it doesn't feel good!
01:10:24Hey, where did Albert go?
01:10:34Deputy!
01:10:36Sir?
01:10:37It is very good to see you.
01:10:39Prepare this weapon to fire.
01:10:42Yes, sir.
01:10:59Target acquired.
01:11:01Cannon is charged.
01:11:02Open fire!
01:11:03Stop!
01:11:04Whatever you do, don't fire that thing!
01:11:07Are you blind, child?
01:11:09That monster is about to trample the whole city!
01:11:11This is going to sound crazy, but...
01:11:14I think there's a giant troll underneath Trollberg.
01:11:17Hundreds of times bigger than that one.
01:11:19She's worried about her children.
01:11:21That's why he's here!
01:11:22To provoke you!
01:11:23Because if you react, if you harm them, she won't just lie there.
01:11:28She's going to defend them.
01:11:30She's going to sit up.
01:11:33Destroying the entire city!
01:11:42Fire at will, deputy!
01:11:48No!
01:11:50You put me in charge, Eric, and I am not following that order.
01:11:56Then you're relieved.
01:11:58Move over!
01:12:02No!
01:12:12Please... don't!
01:12:15Yeah!
01:12:21No!
01:12:26Don't!
01:12:28No!
01:12:29No!
01:12:30No!
01:12:31No!
01:12:32No!
01:12:39No!
01:12:42No!
01:12:47No!
01:12:49No!
01:12:51No!
01:12:57No!
01:13:01No!
01:13:03No!
01:13:05No!
01:13:10No!
01:13:14At the ready, people. Prepare to defend your city.
01:13:18Please, let me talk to them. We can stop this.
01:13:21I don't think talking is going to cut it. This is war.
01:13:25It doesn't have to be.
01:13:52Listen to me. Trollberg is about to be destroyed, and if you don't take me seriously, then it's going to
01:13:58be your fault.
01:13:59That is enough of your nonsense. Go back to your mother and stay out of my way.
01:14:19Hilda!
01:14:23Hilda!
01:14:24Throw me!
01:14:25What?
01:14:37Get that cannon recharged!
01:14:39Uh, sir?
01:14:45What the...
01:14:46Oh, where am I?
01:14:48Oh, that kid is really starting to get on my...
01:14:59Mother...
01:15:07What do we do?
01:15:10We have to get out of here!
01:15:12Agreed!
01:15:15Baba!
01:15:17Baba!
01:15:18Baba!
01:15:19Baba!
01:15:19No!
01:15:20No!
01:15:23Troll advancing!
01:15:25Open fire!
01:15:26Stand down!
01:15:26Sir?
01:15:29What do we do?
01:15:31Nothing.
01:15:32We do...
01:15:34nothing.
01:15:39Baba!
01:15:40Baba!
01:15:58Keep a close watch.
01:16:00But just let them in.
01:16:01Do you know the way we are...
01:16:05And i will never leave the house.
01:16:06Oh the last one...
01:16:09Oh the last one...
01:16:26Do you know the way we are going to...
01:16:30What do you do, would you like?
01:16:30I guess what I...
01:16:30To be able to...
01:16:31I love you.
01:17:00They've stopped.
01:17:01Why have they stopped?
01:17:02Why have they stopped here?
01:17:03We're right above her.
01:17:05I can feel it too.
01:17:07But I'm not sure if I can make sense of it on my own.
01:17:10Help me.
01:17:19Her name is Amma.
01:17:22The mother and grandmother to all trolls.
01:17:25She built these mountains a long time ago as a home for her children.
01:17:31She would lie down to sleep between them, surrounded by those she loved.
01:17:36One time, after a long rest, she woke up to find a village had appeared.
01:17:41But she didn't want to disturb the people so she decided to remain there until they left.
01:17:46But the village grew and grew.
01:17:48It wasn't so bad at first.
01:17:50Her children could still be close to her.
01:17:52She could speak to them.
01:17:53But the people drove them further and further away from her.
01:17:57Then they built the wall.
01:18:04Nothing was ever stopping her from getting up.
01:18:07But she didn't do it.
01:18:08She stayed there.
01:18:09Cut off from her children.
01:18:11For us.
01:18:12For our sakes.
01:18:17Do you feel that?
01:18:19No.
01:18:26Come on.
01:18:29No.
01:18:34No.
01:18:36No!
01:18:37No!
01:18:38No!
01:18:39No!
01:18:41No!
01:18:41No!
01:18:42No!
01:18:43No!
01:18:44No!
01:18:50What's happening to them?
01:18:54She's speaking.
01:19:10It's hard to directly translate the Troth's language,
01:19:13but her words were along the lines of this.
01:19:16My children, I am proud of you.
01:19:19You may not remember me,
01:19:21but I have never and will never forget you.
01:19:24Take care of one another.
01:19:26Be strong, be good,
01:19:28and know that I am never far away.
01:19:37Eric Ahlberg was presented with a medal
01:19:39for the unshakable bravery and quick diplomatic instincts.
01:19:43Which prevented a catastrophic troll war.
01:19:46At the same event,
01:19:47he announced his immediate retirement from public service.
01:19:52Chief officer Gerda Gustaf's first act
01:19:55was to declare an annual Night of the Trolls.
01:20:03Every year, the gates are to be opened,
01:20:06the bells are to be silenced,
01:20:07and the people of the mountain
01:20:08allowed to walk peacefully into Trollburg.
01:20:16It's not perfect.
01:20:18Many people will still fear the trolls,
01:20:20and they'll still fear us.
01:20:22But it's a start.
01:20:29And perhaps one day,
01:20:30we'll live truly peacefully,
01:20:32side by side.
01:20:35There are, however,
01:20:37a few other nights
01:20:38you might find a troll in Trollburg.
01:21:05And once in a while,
01:21:07I go out on the mountainside.
01:21:11And I get to be a troll.
01:21:37And I get to be a troll.
01:21:45I look forward,
01:21:47I look back.
01:21:49I have everything I need.
01:21:53We've been lost,
01:21:54we've skipped a track.
01:21:56So let me bring you up to speed.
01:21:59We're on another road now.
01:22:05We're all coming home now.
