01:09Now, we're down to the final bracket of the semifinals.

01:17He's doing this for his mom and his entire family.
01:21And Kyle Bernier told us he dreamed of this opportunity.
01:24And after an injury, he came in as an alternate,
01:26and it opened the door for one more chance to compete.
01:30And he says that $100,000 would help support his three-year-old son, Maverick.
01:34On the women's side, we have an update to the bracket.
01:38Rebecca Clemons, the circus performer who has made the most of her wild-card opportunity,
01:42has a new opponent.
01:44Jordan, our baker from the state of Michigan,
01:47has to unfortunately withdraw from the competition due to injury.
01:50Under 20 to go.
01:53And that'll do it.
01:54Looks like she took it a little hard on that left arm.
01:57So, with the next fastest eliminator time, it's gonna be Terry Bell,
02:02the Army veteran replacing her tonight against Rebecca Clemons.

03:32It hasn't gone as well as he had hoped,
03:35so he said the $100,000 would be huge not only for his business,
03:39but help support his three-year-old son.

04:22and gave literally my life to it for 12 years.

04:27and then training during the day.
04:29I fail a lot.
04:31I succeed a lot.
04:32But I'm committed to the process.

04:39Being able to win this competition would mean the world right now.

04:44I want my son to see that you have to be willing to take risks.

08:57Definitely to end up in first, but I realized when I was in first place,
09:00I knew I was going to come upon the Gladiators first,
09:03so I knew I was going to get blocked,
09:04and Kyle wasn't going to have an opportunity to pass.
09:06But, you know, when you're in there, it's so hard to think.
09:08You just got to keep it going,
09:09but the main thing is your legs start burning after one lap.
09:11What an amazing performance from one of our newest Gladiators, Lightning!
09:18I don't think I've ever seen a Gladiator make one sphere look like two,
09:23because you were handling both of them basically at the same time.
09:27Once I've seen both of them come around that corner,
09:28I just had to strike twice on them,
09:29and I don't miss the honor.

14:28tumbling up in there.
14:30Rebecca, did you feel like you were tumbling in your atlasphere?
14:34Yes, and I did.
14:35I absolutely did.
14:36So circus performer translates to Crash Course.
14:39Yeah, you know, as long as I'm contained in the ball, I'm good.

14:57but how does your height take advantage when it comes to working Crash Course?
15:01Using my body weight against somebody else's is just a huge advantage.
15:04Again, I weigh 192 pounds compared to most of these contenders at like 140, 130.
15:10So again, that's just a huge advantage that I have.

15:13And you know, I have to say, Empire, you were hitting hard out there,
15:17like trying to get a taxi during rush hour in New York City.
15:20It was almost impossible.
15:22It was more like smashing rats on the subway.
15:25But, you know, they were good.
15:26They did what they had to do, but, you know, I just did it better.
