00:00:27Out here, in the wild,
00:00:29nothing is given. Everything is earned. The land provides, but only if you
00:00:36respect it. My name is Cole Harrington and I've been hunting the western
00:00:41United States since I was a kid. My father taught me to hunt the right way,
00:00:46ethically, responsibly, with respect for the animals and the land. Hunting isn't
00:00:52about trophies. It's not about staged shots or glamorized kills like you see
00:00:58on other shows. It's about connection, to the land, to the wildlife, and to
00:01:03something primal deep inside us.
00:01:10Every hunt tells a story, and out here, nature writes the script. I take pride in
00:01:17being an ethical hunter, giving back to the wild that gives so much to me.
00:01:23This isn't just a sport, it's a way of life. And if you're here, watching, well you feel it too.
00:01:34This is Primal Instinct.
00:01:52I've got a story, and I've got to do that.
00:01:53Let's see if you look at it and see my foot out.
00:01:53I can find it.
00:01:55I can find it.
00:01:55I can find it.
00:01:57I can find it.
00:01:57I can find it.
00:01:59I can find it.
00:02:03If you hold it, it's a place.
00:02:06I can find it.
00:04:38Pain in my ass, right, to get away from this guy.
00:04:41But I said, yeah, I am.
00:04:43And he said, that's good.
00:04:49He said, did you find your balance?
00:04:53And I had no idea what he was talking about, right?
00:04:55And I said, well, I don't know.
00:04:59You know, I don't know.
00:05:01I guess everybody has their own idea of what balance is, right?
00:05:04And he said, he said, the earth has a balance.
00:05:08And he said, if I'm going to be taking something from the earth, a deer, do I have a plan
00:05:17to pay it back, right?
00:05:18Keep things balanced.
00:05:20He was out, he was doing something.
00:05:22I don't know what the term was, earthing.
00:05:25I don't know.
00:05:26I'm making that up, maybe.
00:05:27But he had his feet in the soil.
00:05:29And he was saying that by his bare feet being buried in the dirt like that, he was, you know,
00:05:35he was connecting with earth again, right?
00:05:37And he felt like I was also connecting with earth if I, if I, as a hunter, I get a
00:05:41deer and I eat the meat, then I'm connecting with the earth, right?
00:05:44But he said, we all have to have a balance when we're out of here.
00:05:49Otherwise, everything gets thrown off.
00:05:51And he asked if I, if I had figured out my balance yet.
00:05:55And I said, well, quite honestly, I, I don't really know how to answer that.
00:05:59So I asked him if he had any kind of thoughts on what, you know, a hunter's balance would be.
00:06:07And he said, of course, it was very, you know, out there, but essentially that he couldn't answer that because
00:06:13that's for every person to answer for themselves, right?
00:06:16But he said, if I was going to draw blood from one of earth's creatures, that I may have to
00:06:24be willing to eventually give my blood back, right, to the soil balance.
00:06:33And he asked if I had it figured out.
00:06:35And I said, no, I don't think anybody really can figure out their own mortality.
00:06:41You know, that's the whole point of living life is not knowing when it's going to end, right?
00:06:46And I don't find it scary.
00:06:48I think it's what makes it exciting.
00:06:51That's what makes the journey worth taking.
00:06:55But he just said, he said, make sure that you always, always replace what you take and keep the balance,
00:07:06right?
00:07:06Don't take more than you give.
00:07:08Don't give more than you take.
00:07:11And I, we left each other there and I went on hunting.
00:07:15I ended up getting a deer that year and it was great.
00:07:18But I've always thought about that.
00:07:19It was interesting.
00:07:20You know, we probably live very, very different lives.
00:07:22I imagine he's probably the type that he may get teary-eyed if somebody kills a spider, right?
00:07:29Which is fine.
00:07:31Balance.
00:07:32If there's going to be somebody like me out there, there's got to be somebody like him.
00:07:35Otherwise, we just can't harmonize, right?
00:07:37It's all about the balance.
00:07:56Jeremy, I don't know if you're going to be able to do a whole lot with this footage.
00:08:01I mean, as you'll see, as you go through this stuff, I don't have a whole lot.
00:08:07It's been a hell of a hunt.
00:08:08And I spent nine days, man, and we didn't come in to anything.
00:08:16I thought maybe the snow and the weather would help drive them a little bit.
00:08:20But I don't know if it being a late season hunt, if maybe the early hunters got in here and
00:08:25pushed them out.
00:08:25I don't know if the fires that we had earlier did something.
00:08:30I don't know if there's a predator in the area or what, but I did all that scouting, and we
00:08:34had our eyes on a couple of good bucks.
00:08:38And I didn't see them once we finally got out here.
00:08:42So disheartening for sure.
00:08:44And I don't know.
00:08:48I'm trying to end a season of a show here, and I got no deer in my hands.
00:08:58I don't really know how to end this, right?
00:09:00I guess maybe your technical wizardry with the editing should maybe be able to do something.
00:09:08I don't know.
00:09:08Or maybe we scrapped this whole final episode, and you just do a highlight reel or something.
00:09:17I don't know, man.
00:09:20I don't know.
00:09:22Beautiful country.
00:09:26I had a lot of time to just reflect, and it was a great hunt.
00:09:33You know, because everybody knows a hunt isn't about the kill, right?
00:09:36If it would be called killing, it wouldn't be called hunting.
00:09:40Um, and, uh, I just, uh, I had some time to spend thinking on things, kind of reconnecting, get everything.
00:09:54Well, I mean, who am I kidding, man?
00:09:55Everything's, everything's kind of fucked.
00:09:58I don't know if it's the divorce or, like, the uncertainty of what's going to happen with the kids or
00:10:02what,
00:10:02but I wasn't into this one at all, and I think that's why, um, you know, the footage stinks,
00:10:09and maybe that's why I didn't run into any deer.
00:10:12I don't know if I just, if my heart wasn't in it or what.
00:10:18Um, anyway, man, I appreciate everything you've done.
00:10:23Um, and I'll send you what I got, and I don't know.
00:10:26I'll try and film some kind of a promo here in a minute when I get my shit together,
00:10:30because I'm just not in the best mood.
00:10:35I want to say thanks to all my fans for keeping up with us throughout this first season of Primal
00:10:41Instinct.
00:10:42It's been a series of ups and downs.
00:10:44We've had some really, uh, incredible encounters, but it's been great.
00:10:48And it's very humbling for me to hop online and see how many of you are out there supporting our
00:10:53efforts
00:10:54and, uh, how many people we've got in the comments section and all the views.
00:10:57It's been wonderful.
00:10:58Um, I do appreciate you guys jumping into the comments and trying to fight the trolls
00:11:02that want to, uh, talk some, talk some smack to us.
00:11:06But, uh, just remember, don't, don't feed the trolls.
00:11:08You're better than them.
00:11:10Uh, thank you to everybody who has been rocking the Primal Instinct merch.
00:11:13Uh, remember to keep tagging us and everything.
00:11:16Uh, hit that hashtag Primal Instinct on all your posts.
00:11:20Um, you know, we love to see it.
00:11:22And we'll, we'll pick some and we'll share them on the next show.
00:11:27So, I mean, you do this stuff for a living, right, Jeremy?
00:11:29You edit and you, you take footage and people are in and out of character and all that.
00:11:33And, uh, so you're used to this.
00:11:39I'm not.
00:11:40The whole point of this was so you'd see the real me.
00:11:42And, and, and here I am faking these promos and, uh, actually in a little bit of a dark place.
00:11:54I guess there's a lot of people that can just turn their personality on and off, uh, for the camera,
00:12:03right?
00:12:04It's all what the camera sees.
00:12:07Whatever the audience sees is what they think is actually going on and...
00:12:12It's the behind the scenes stuff that...
00:12:17Well, whatever.
00:12:18You don't...
00:12:20Nobody needs to hear about my bullshit anymore.
00:12:23Jeremy, thank you.
00:12:24I'll send this to you.
00:12:25We'll get it cut.
00:12:26Figure out what we can do with it.
00:12:28And I'm just ready to get warm.
00:12:30Uh, I'm ready to come back season two when the weather's better.
00:12:37I will get my head right, uh, when we come back.
00:12:42So, I'm signing off, brother.
00:12:44I'm going to get out of here before the weather gets too bad.
00:12:46And, uh, I'm really, really sorry about this going on and on and on and on and on and on
00:12:53and on and on.
00:13:10It is peaceful out here.
00:13:14It is really starting to snow.
00:13:17And, uh, I should probably get out of here before I freeze to death.
00:13:22Because the rest of my good gear is back at the truck.
00:13:26And I walked up to this pretty spot so I could film this promo.
00:13:32And, uh, I'm starting to get pretty chilly.
00:13:35I don't think anybody gives a shit about me being cold.
00:13:42I don't know.
00:13:42Maybe you do.
00:13:44I guess maybe that's what reality television is, right?
00:13:46I'm having a hard time adjusting to all of this stuff.
00:13:48Because I'm used to just looking at everything through a riflescope.
00:13:57Now I'm out here, uh, vlogging.
00:14:02Which is not a term I expected to be, uh, really privy with.
00:14:08And something I'd be doing much of.
00:14:10But, hey, look at here we are.
00:14:12A hundred and forty-something thousand people later following our exploits.
00:14:19I guess we're doing something right, huh?
00:14:22A hundred and forty-something thousand people later following our exploits.
00:14:50What's up, ladies?
00:15:07Rick?
00:15:08Yes, sir.
00:15:09Cool.
00:15:10Nice to meet you.
00:15:10Nice to meet you.
00:15:11Hey, so, uh, I take it you're the one who sent the email about the mount line?
00:15:14Yeah.
00:15:15Yes, sir.
00:15:15All right.
00:15:15Um, you want to show me the livestock, or?
00:15:20Uh, well, it's not here.
00:15:22This is my main property here.
00:15:23Okay.
00:15:24Um, it's a little ways out.
00:15:25It's a long ways out, actually.
00:15:27Um, so I'm going to take you over there, and if you're up for a long drive.
00:15:31Yeah, no, it's fine.
00:15:32Uh, honestly, I appreciate it.
00:15:34I, I need the content for the channel anyway.
00:15:37Um, and, and getting to go after maybe a problem mount line would kind of be good for my viewers,
00:15:42you know?
00:15:43So.
00:15:43Yeah.
00:15:43Uh, I appreciate it.
00:15:45Um, God, it's a lot busier here than it ever used to be as freaking traffic.
00:15:48I would have been here a lot earlier, but.
00:15:51Yeah, this, you know, this casino owner puts in this parkway, you know, for all the subdivisions
00:15:59that are going in up there.
00:16:00It's, you know, this is what it is.
00:16:03I know.
00:16:04Or you keep encroaching further and further out.
00:16:07That sounds good.
00:16:09Um, I mean, how far are we talking?
00:16:10A couple hour drive, or?
00:16:12Yeah, it's about four and a half, five hours.
00:16:14Okay.
00:16:15So, it's a good ways out there.
00:16:16All right.
00:16:16Uh, Lawton, kind of Lawton Basin area?
00:16:20Yeah.
00:16:20Yeah.
00:16:21Right, right around there.
00:16:22Um, and, you know, um, like I said in the email, I'm a fan of the show.
00:16:26Yeah.
00:16:27You know, truly.
00:16:27I appreciate it.
00:16:28Yeah.
00:16:29Um, just, when we get out there, can you please just do me a favor and try not to film
00:16:33too
00:16:34much of my property?
00:16:35You know, uh, you're, you're a married man, you know?
00:16:38Um, I'm sure the last thing you want is for your family and everything to be all over the
00:16:41internet.
00:16:42So, I'm a bit of a private guy.
00:16:44So, if we can just try and, you know, keep it a little bit private, I'd appreciate it.
00:16:48Yeah, yeah.
00:16:48I totally understand.
00:16:49Honestly, this thing, I, uh, I'm not married anymore.
00:16:54I just haven't really had the guts to take the ring off yet.
00:16:56And, uh, you know how it goes.
00:17:00If I could find a way to get this one off, it'd be off so fast and make your head
00:17:04spin.
00:17:05Uh, if you've got those, uh, those photos that you emailed over with, uh, the animals
00:17:10or whatever, if you've got them maybe in like a little higher definition, um, it's for the
00:17:15channel.
00:17:16It's, everybody complains about the quality of everything.
00:17:18So, maybe I'll shoot you my email, uh, and we can get those, um, you know, the, the
00:17:23ones you sent with the, the dead elk and the cows and everything.
00:17:26So.
00:17:26Yeah, for sure.
00:17:27I can, I can text those over to you, email them to you, whatever, whatever you need.
00:17:31Yeah.
00:17:31Okay.
00:17:31Well, that works.
00:17:32Um, sweet.
00:17:33Well, it sounds like we got a long ass drive.
00:17:35So, let's, uh, let's get out of here, huh?
00:17:37Yes, sir.
00:17:38All right.
00:17:38Thanks.
00:17:40Thanks.
00:17:41Thanks.
00:17:42Thanks.
00:17:44Thanks.
00:17:45Thanks.
00:17:57Thanks.
00:18:31Thanks.
00:19:10So, all that back there, um, that's pretty much where we're going to be headed into.
00:19:17It's, it's hilly country.
00:19:19It's rocky country.
00:19:20It's where big cats like to hang out.
00:19:21So, that's where we're going to go kind of scout today.
00:19:25Uh, as you'll notice, I got no rifle on me.
00:19:28Um, that's because we actually have not been issued a permit yet.
00:19:33We applied for a depredation permit based on the ranchers, um, you know, claims of, of
00:19:40livestock being taken, but state hasn't issued one yet.
00:19:43So, I can't actually legally be out there hunting yet, um, because we're not permitted.
00:19:50But, uh, I got to do this thing legal, you know.
00:19:52I mean, that's kind of been like the entire premise of the show, right, is, is, uh, doing
00:19:56things the right way.
00:19:57Um, but, uh, I have never been one to do things the stupid way.
00:20:03So, we're absolutely, um, not going in, uh, completely empty handed.
00:20:12So, one of the big complaints that I had from the first season was, uh, trying to self-film
00:20:21everything was a huge pain in the ass.
00:20:24And, uh, now, I have upgraded to a very cool POV body cam.
00:20:34So, now, we'll be able to get some really epic stuff.
00:20:38Love that.
00:20:40Hands free, baby.
00:20:52Sometimes this place just feels like it was forgotten by time, you know.
00:21:17I think one of the more impressive things with the big cats is, uh,
00:21:25how incredibly strong they are, even when they don't look it.
00:21:29Even a small, a small mountain lion, you know, around 70, 80 pounds, can hoist triple its
00:21:36body weight straight up, up into these rocks, up a tree, hauling off, you know, calves and
00:21:43young cattle, um, it's not out of the realm of possibility at all.
00:21:49I'm going to go a little further in, see if I can locate a Dan or something.
00:21:53It might be a good indicator, uh, where they're hanging out.
00:21:56So, stay tuned.
00:21:59Okay.
00:22:17You guys got to see this.
00:22:20This is interesting.
00:22:33Looks like it's dead.
00:22:36Not that it's out of the ordinary to find stuff like this out in the desert, but we are way,
00:22:44way out here.
00:22:45So, uh, to be honest, I'm a little surprised.
00:22:51You know, a lot of hunters, they, they go way up into these rocks and stuff and they,
00:22:55they misjudge everything and, uh, and they fall.
00:22:59So, we'll take this with us, see if, uh, we can't get it charged up and see what's on it.
00:23:34Huh.
00:23:45One of the more concerning things about this, actually, is that, uh, this is a new phone.
00:23:51I've got the same charging port on my phone, uh, and I've got a charger back in the truck.
00:23:56So, I can get this thing going.
00:23:58Um, it did not take much weather damage.
00:24:00I mean, the screen's cracked a little bit, but, uh, when I hit the power button, it actually
00:24:04is giving me an indicator to plug it in.
00:24:06So, there's still electronics working.
00:24:08The reason I've got a little cause for alarm is, uh, University of Nevada, Reno had two
00:24:14anthropologists that went missing just a few weeks ago.
00:24:18So, and it's not far from this area that a lot of people speculated they were, there
00:24:23was, there was some talk that maybe, uh, because they were a romantic couple that, um, the boyfriend
00:24:30may have been a suspect, but anybody that spent any time up here knows how dangerous it
00:24:34is.
00:24:34And, uh, you can go up too high, take a spill, and fall into a, a crevice, uh, real easy.
00:24:41Nobody would ever find you.
00:24:42Plus, there's mine shafts all over in this area.
00:24:45Uh, people go down there all the time, kind of heating the warnings, and, uh, they don't
00:24:49come back out.
00:24:50Uh, so, this makes me think that, uh, we could potentially be onto something.
00:24:57And, depending on what's on this, I may be, since I'm out here, right, I might abandon
00:25:04this whole lion thing, and, and go on more of a, a search and rescue mission.
00:25:10So, yeah.
00:25:12Just letting you know, Jeremy, when you get all this footage, uh, I have no idea what
00:25:15is gonna be on this by the time it's done, but, uh, this could be for some pretty compelling
00:25:20television, so, stay tuned.
00:26:00I'm gonna get him this time.
00:26:01Again?
00:26:02Oh, yeah.
00:26:03You know I'm not giving up until I catch at least one lizard on this trip.
00:26:09These guys are fast!
00:26:11Well, I guess we answered the question, who's faster than a lizard?
00:26:15Not like the Western fence lizards back home.
00:26:18Good try, though.
00:26:20Better luck next time.
00:26:23What'd you say about the moss again?
00:26:26That's not moss, it's lichens.
00:26:29It's lichens.
00:26:31Well, I was saying that it's got great, incredible air quality up here for these to be able to
00:26:37grow.
00:26:41They only grow in good quality air.
00:26:43You know, for someone so worried about inner office romance, you sure are getting a lot
00:26:48of it on camera.
00:26:49Oh, hey, uh, come on, it's just, you know, what's the university gonna think?
00:26:56Well, who cares what a bunch of old fuddy-duddies in an air-conditioned office are gonna think?
00:27:04Well, it's more than just old fuddy-duddies and our relationship if we had one.
00:27:09It's more, you know, my career, this research.
00:27:14If we don't do it correctly, if we're wrong about the theory, well, then everything could
00:27:20go up into smoke.
00:27:22You know, you're always so worried about what could go wrong.
00:27:25You ever consider what could go right?
00:27:30Go on, take a break.
00:27:54You're supposed to be getting landscape.
00:27:59Oh, right, right, right.
00:28:01I did a research trip, after all.
00:28:04Sure, sure, right.
00:28:06Well, you're right, I mean, it is.
00:28:09You're enjoying the adventure, you know, with you.
00:28:20I just, I don't want to lose all this, you know?
00:28:25You know, there's been plenty of fuddy.
00:28:35That wasn't the word quite I was looking for, but yes, there's been lots of archaeological
00:28:43couples and what about those ghost hunters that were married okay ghost hunting and anthropology
00:28:53are not even in the same realm one is a science and the other is debunked theory after debunked
00:28:58theory after debunked theory i mean come on i just i just want our colleagues and the other
00:29:05professors at the university to take me seriously to take us seriously well i mean with everything
00:29:12we might find out here i think they will take us seriously we can get that paper turned in
00:29:20i mean some of what we're finding out here is pretty groundbreaking
00:29:25you know if we go down for this i'm blaming you worth it
00:29:34i sure do check this out oh that's so exciting what you got
00:29:48an arrowhead
00:29:51look how it's so carefully made look it's got fluting oh my god it's got fluting
00:29:58you know if you stare at that any harder it's going to burst into flames oh come on i mean
00:30:04fluting wasn't originally found until around 11 000 years ago so if this is 20 30 000 years according
00:30:11to the rings that are left here from the sandstone then this could really short my theories on whether
00:30:16that you know shelter shelter way before we ever thought possible given some of the formations around
00:30:25here it makes me wonder if we you know maybe the ice age was a little different around here i
00:30:30wonder
00:30:30if early man around here went underground instead of just wandering i mean think about it the ice age
00:30:37wouldn't have just been about surviving the cold and surviving the fauna and flora it was
00:30:40it was survival in general uh from extreme hunger from weather weather phenomena i mean could you imagine if it
00:30:50wasn't just finding shelter in caves but structured homes like long-term
00:30:58survival exactly if we're right about this this could change everything for us micah
00:31:07you know i really love seeing you like this like what
00:31:12oh you come so alive when you're discovering new things and getting to talk about your theories and
00:31:21your papers come on be professional micah oh oh right the arrowhead right
00:31:29yes the arrowhead i mean look it's not even made of the same sandstone or rocks that are found around
00:31:35here they would have had to have traveled miles and miles to bring this here that's true i wonder
00:31:41what else we can find around here yeah maybe there's some evidence of agricultural work oh that would be
00:32:02incredible
00:32:03oh remind me to get this in a specimen box whenever we get back it belongs in a museum
00:32:10well i like that movie oh crap oh
00:32:17well don't get don't walk up to it people are sick look this isn't
00:32:24what kind of nonsense is this
00:32:28weird and disgusting is what it is yeah weird and disgusting is right and fresh someone recently did this
00:32:34well it's obviously not real obviously not ancient obviously disgusting what's that song teenagers scare the living
00:32:42shit out of me it's a good point probably teenagers probably drunk college kids about like gar
00:32:50look at that freaking pile of beer cans over there
00:32:56and none of this even makes any sense
00:33:08all right miss skeptical oh come on you know nothing pisses me off more than fake science
00:33:21so well i didn't catch a live lizard but i guess technically speaking i didn't catch a reptile
00:33:29what did you call me oh please
00:33:34i'm surprised you didn't keep that today huh yeah yeah we'll go with that definitely not in my
00:33:40backpack you did you know i did you know it's the fact that i know you did that just ah
00:33:47you're that
00:33:49hungry you know lunch didn't sound like too bad of an idea i need to remember to start packing better
00:33:55rations if that's the case yeah i can't live off granola bars and trail mix excuse me those mres
00:34:01were perfectly sawdust serviceable yeah you know if i could find a rock or something hey that just
00:34:08helps you digest it put some hair on your chest all right i'm not the one that needs hair on
00:34:16his chest
00:34:16you would know at least it's a good day for this yep hey micah check it out sagebrush
00:34:32wow sagebrush wow you're killing me anna
00:34:41hey at least i didn't say vertical log again
00:34:49you're adorable when you're ridiculous you know that oh come on you're impossible you like it
00:34:57the only reason i could think you'd be out here in the middle of nowhere with me middle of nowhere
00:35:09and put that right there now you have some flowers behind your ear oh thank you now i can see
00:35:17you from
00:35:17anywhere
00:35:23i think maybe we should have brought the orange tent
00:35:26i think i see a spot we can clear off sounds good to me high ground high ground we'll set
00:35:37up
00:35:37set up camp over there all right come on check it out we've got two different species here
00:35:47i'm really liking what i'm seeing oh my god you are
00:35:55it's a shame we can't cultivate it imagine the beautiful portraits you could make with these if
00:35:59you could you know i never considered that right funny i didn't think the species grew here on the
00:36:06west coast might as well get moving again oh great now we're getting stalked by coyote noises and
00:36:17we're wrestling outside of the tent in the smallest that you could find you told me to be economical about
00:36:24this it's just wild animals goodness gracious oh and it's supposed to make me feel better whenever
00:36:33we don't have anything to get rid of the wild animals all right i'll get them out of here
00:36:41they're full moon tonight they're active oh please let me know that's not really
00:36:48just keeping you on your toes more like on my ass
00:36:54it turns out to be false i'll be putting you on that in a minute
00:37:16you jerk
00:37:22what i'm cowpocalypse i'm here to haunt you
00:37:26get that
00:37:30what it was just outside
00:37:33what do you mean it was just outside it was just outside the tent like five feet away
00:37:36we cleared this entire site what do you mean it was just five feet away it was just five feet
00:37:43i'm sure something just dragged it over here what would drag over a completely dry cow skull
00:37:52i'll be right back don't go out there we got to get it away from the tent oh god
00:38:02stay put stay put i will be right back
00:38:06it better be
00:38:35mic up
00:38:37mic up
00:38:39My God!
00:39:09Oh my God, I told you so much.
00:39:31My God, it's not funny. Look, now you've completely ruined the tent.
00:39:40Oh, oh, so you've ruined the tent for a cow joke.
00:39:48Micah, that's not funny anymore. Stop it.
00:39:52Micah?
00:39:52What?
00:39:55Oh!
00:39:57Oh!
00:40:00Oh!
00:40:07Oh!
00:40:12Oh!
00:40:14Oh!
00:40:15Oh!
00:40:16Oh!
00:40:17Oh!
00:40:19Oh!
00:40:21Oh!
00:40:23Oh!
00:40:26Oh!
00:40:28Oh!
00:40:29Oh!
00:40:29Oh!
00:40:30Oh!
00:40:31Oh!
00:40:36Oh!
00:40:37Oh!
00:40:38Oh!
00:40:39Oh!
00:40:41Oh!
00:40:42Oh!
00:40:42Oh!
00:40:44Oh!
00:40:45You
00:41:09Very very active mine community
00:41:16and
00:41:30So you got a clean cut
00:41:34On the neck there that's a paw clearly the work of poachers
00:41:44That's a bear all right
00:41:48We don't even have black bears this far out into the desert
00:41:50So somebody hauled it up here clearly
00:41:54And dumped it
00:41:56But that's definitely not an animal
00:41:58That is clear as day
00:42:01Somebody cut that
00:42:03A really sharp instrument you can see
00:42:06Sawed it right off
00:42:07Took the paw
00:42:12This shit makes me sick
00:42:17Guys like me
00:42:18The
00:42:20True hunters
00:42:22We've been
00:42:25Anti poacher
00:42:27You know since our upbringing
00:42:29Because
00:42:30This is the kind of shit that people who aren't hunters
00:42:32They get it confused with
00:42:33And they think that
00:42:34You know
00:42:34This is what guys like me do
00:42:36This is absolutely not
00:42:38This is what guys like me want to fight against
00:42:43What a shame
00:43:10There's one thing about Nevada
00:43:15It can be really really cold in the mornings
00:43:18And then it can get really really hot
00:43:19In the afternoons
00:43:25Well
00:43:27That's not an interesting
00:43:29Structure there
00:43:35I've seen a lot of things
00:43:37While I've been out here
00:43:38But
00:43:39I can 100% say
00:43:41I have never seen
00:43:44Whatever the hell this is supposed to be
00:43:55Holy shit
00:43:58Now if I'm not mistaken
00:44:02That's a human skull
00:44:10Well Jeremy
00:44:11I don't know if
00:44:13We ever thought we'd have something like this
00:44:17To put on camera
00:44:18But
00:44:19It's too interesting to not
00:44:22Include
00:44:25There's a pretty
00:44:27Big population of Native Americans up here
00:44:29And I would imagine
00:44:32You know
00:44:33Maybe this is some kind of a burial site
00:44:35I know it's
00:44:36It's probably jarring to viewers
00:44:37That there's
00:44:39Human remains hanging from it
00:44:40But
00:44:41Many of the
00:44:43Different cultures around here
00:44:44They have different ways
00:44:44Of kind of honoring their dead
00:44:46So
00:44:47You know
00:44:47Who am I to judge right
00:44:50Not that
00:44:50I'm not going to call this in
00:44:52Because
00:44:56Local law enforcement
00:44:57May not know about this one
00:44:58Especially since we're so far out here
00:45:03I may have to get a hold of that rancher too
00:45:05And let him know
00:45:06Because he may have
00:45:08He may have tribe
00:45:09Squatting on his place
00:45:10I don't know
00:45:11Maybe he knows about this
00:45:13I
00:45:14I would assume
00:45:15He wouldn't be hanging human body parts
00:45:17From
00:45:17A totem structure
00:45:18But
00:45:20You know again
00:45:23Well
00:45:24Our journey
00:45:26Continues
00:45:30And we will let
00:45:32Whatever that
00:45:32Is
00:45:33Remain
00:45:35In
00:45:37Solitude
00:46:04It's definitely
00:46:10Definitely
00:46:10Definitely where I think
00:46:13Somebody might be
00:46:16If they did somehow survive
00:46:35Okay
00:46:36Okay
00:46:39There goes nothing
00:47:06Oh shit.
00:47:12I don't know.
00:48:06I don't know.
00:48:13Oh, well, people definitely been in here before because that's not natural mind stuff.
00:48:23Oh, damn.
00:48:25Okay.
00:48:26Okay.
00:48:27Okay.
00:48:28Okay.
00:48:28Okay.
00:48:30Okay.
00:48:40Okay.
00:48:44Okay.
00:48:45Okay.
00:48:46Okay.
00:48:59Okay.
00:49:00Okay.
00:49:03Okay.
00:49:04Okay.
00:49:08Hello?
00:49:09Hello?
00:49:18Ma'am?
00:49:26Okay.
00:49:40Oh, shit.
00:49:43Oh, shit.
00:49:44Okay.
00:49:46Okay.
00:49:59Okay.
00:50:02Okay.
00:50:03Oh, shit.
00:50:09Okay.
00:50:11Okay.
00:50:12Okay.
00:50:14Okay.
00:50:36Okay.
00:50:37Okay.
00:50:38Okay.
00:50:39Okay.
00:50:40Okay.
00:50:41Okay.
00:50:41Okay.
00:50:42Okay.
00:50:42Okay.
00:50:43Okay.
00:50:43Okay.
00:51:01so i got up high enough get a little bit of service um contacted lahont and sheriff
00:51:07there's no way they're gonna be able to send anybody out this we're way too far out and
00:51:11they're way too understaffed um so the plan is um they want to come take a look at the human
00:51:17remains
00:51:17tomorrow they're asking me not to touch it obviously um they uh they asked if i'd be
00:51:25willing to just stay up here overnight which is fine because quite honestly if that cat did this
00:51:32uh we got a man eater on our hands and he's going to come back at night so it's to
00:51:38give me at least
00:51:39an opportunity to see if he's coming and going from that mine um yeah so anyway the plan is
00:51:47i'm going to stay up here tonight uh just kind of keep watch if it is in fact that cat
00:51:54um i'll get
00:51:55out of here i'll go get all my stuff uh to be prepared for a real hunt and we'll come
00:52:01back out
00:52:01here and uh and we'll take him down um if if he's coming in out of there it's a den
00:52:06so there's no way
00:52:07he's going to abandon it at this point especially if uh it's taking food in there so stay tuned
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:14so
00:52:43But I can't say this.
00:52:45If this ends up turning into a missing persons episode, we're going to have a hit on our hands. Especially
00:52:55if I can find them up here alive.
00:53:29So, I know they said not to go in and disturb any of the remains or anything, and I'm not.
00:53:34But that cell phone footage has a girl and a guy, and there's no way that that foot belonged to
00:53:43that guy.
00:53:45And I just feel like it wouldn't be me if I didn't at least take one more look through there,
00:53:53see if I can't locate him.
00:53:55Uh, you know, and then tomorrow I'll let the sheriff's office do their thing.
00:54:00But, uh, I'm going to take one more quick walk through there.
00:54:04Um, but I'm going to go hands-free, so I'm going to put my helmet rig on.
00:54:07And, uh, we'll see what we can find.
00:54:10If anything, uh, at least all know, you know, that I gave it my best shot here.
00:54:17So, especially if the guy's still alive in there, there's no way I'm going to be able to live with
00:54:20myself if I don't go check.
00:54:22So, wish me luck.
00:56:34Oh, man.
00:56:39I'm going to have to.
00:57:08I'm going to have to.
00:57:20I'm going to have to.
00:57:22I'm going to have to.
00:57:24I'm going to have to.
