00:00Hello, welcome back to Newman Now. Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week,
00:04neatly timed to come inside with GCSEs kicking off for my twins. So I thought I'd share some
00:09of the things you can do at home to find small joys and boost your mood. A vase of flowers
00:14is
00:14a quick win to brighten any corner. Watering the plants inside or out is a calming task if I'm
00:21feeling overwhelmed. And there is nothing better than fresh bed linen. I am convinced it helps me
00:27sleep better. I've tackled a spot in my kitchen that was really irritating me. We've never had
00:32a proper place for kitchen roll and I hated it cluttering up the worktop. So I ordered this
00:36holder from Amazon. It was self-adhesive, so all I had to do was fix it under my cupboard and
00:41I am
00:42so much happier now. What's my plan for the weekend? Well, we made great progress on our
00:46outdoor kitchen over the bank holiday, but now it's time to pick a colour or colours and mentally
00:51prepare myself for the hours of painting it will take. I'm really agonising over colours. So if you
00:56want to weigh in on what to choose, please feel free.
