00:00Hi, welcome to this week's New and Now. Yesterday, Diptyque added five new scents to the Core Candle
00:05Collection and the Ideal Home team got to try them in our homes before they dropped.
00:09They range from coffee to nettle and I tried Sesame Noir Black Sesame, which is a very gentle,
00:16easy to live with scent that I'm loving. The launch also includes a redesign of the candle jars
00:22and the Core Candle Collection will now all be refillable. Talking of refillable candles,
00:27did you know that you can no longer recycle your old candle jars? There's been some changes in what
00:32can go in your recycling and food waste bin thanks to new simple rules that just came into force.
00:38It used to be a bit of a postcode lottery for recycling, with councils free to do their own
00:43thing, but now they all have to accept the same items, which is really good news for our eco efforts.
00:49Finally, a quick garden update because everything is coming to life right now.
00:52My sweet peas are shooting up. I've been waking up my dailies using the Ziploc bag method. It's been
00:59my go-to for a few years now. And, drumroll please, my wisteria looks like it might flower for the
01:05first
01:05year since I planted it. I am beyond excited and I can't stop going outside to check on it.
01:10That's all from me. I'll see you back here next week.
