00:10I think that what we've been living through since the October 7 pogrom in Israel
00:15is nothing less than an inflection point, a critical inflection point for Western civilization
00:21as a whole. And the people who perpetrated it told us they would do the same thing over and
00:27over again until Israel was destroyed and Jewish people were wiped out.
00:39What began abroad is now here in this country. It has spread throughout our culture. It is an attack
00:47on the United States, on North America and the West, which is orchestrated from without,
00:54but which is too often invited from within. We have now a nucleus in these elite campuses,
01:03which are opinion makers, radical Middle East professors with endowed top salaries,
01:10whose mission is essentially to attack Israel in the classroom and in scholarship.
01:17What I think the West is missing is that the Islamic Republic is part of an axis. They have teamed
01:24up
01:25in various ways with the Chinese, with the Russians, with other bad actors around the world.
01:33One of the most extraordinary things about the current moment is the extent to which contemporary left
01:41uses the slogans and explanatory logic of Soviet anti-Zionist propaganda.
01:49Having built miraculously a new Jewish state, we as a people have a moral responsibility to preserve
01:56that state against those who seek our annihilation. Yes, we seek peace, but we're also not going to live
02:02with a knife over our throat indefinitely. The number one concern of the Israeli government
02:08should be acting in the best interest of the Jewish people and to protect Jewish civilians.
02:14The ultimate test, faced with unadulterated evil, would the West side with barbarism or would it defend civilization?
02:26And I'm afraid to say that it has not chosen to defend civilization. And we have to ask why that
02:35is.
