A young reindeer named Rudolph lives at the North Pole. His father is one of Santa's reindeer and it is expected that Rudolph will eventually be one too. However, he has a feature which is a setback and causes him to be ostracized: his red nose.

01:00I forget that big snowstorm a couple of years ago.
01:02The weather closed in and, well, you might not believe it, but the world almost missed Christmas.
01:10Oh, excuse me.
01:11Call me Sam.
01:13What's the matter?
01:14Haven't you ever seen a talking snowman before?
01:19Nice around here, isn't it?
01:21I call it Christmastown, better known as the North Pole.
01:26The Christmas tree forest.
01:28Yep, here's where we grow them.
01:31Nice place to live, you know.
01:34Christmas seals.
01:36Of course, the number one citizens up here are the Clausers, Santa and the Misses.
01:41They live right over there.
01:43First castle on the left.
01:45Matter of fact, the only castle on the left.
01:51Papa, you haven't touched a morsel.
01:53I'll have to take this suit in.
01:55Eat.
01:56I'm busy, Mama.
01:58It's almost Christmas.
01:59Who ever heard of a skinny Santa?
02:02Eat.
02:03Eat.
02:04Now, don't any of you worry your heads about Santa.
02:08Mrs. Claus will have him plenty fattened up by Christmas Eve.
02:11It's always the same story.
02:16Ah, I love this Christmassy time of year.
02:21Especially when everything is running happy and smooth like it is this season.
02:25Nothing like that year of the big snowstorms.
02:30I don't know what we would have done without Rudolph to pull us through.
02:34Anyway, Rudolph?
02:36Huh, could it be that some of you are not acquainted with the story of Rudolph?
02:43Well, pull up an ice block and lend an ear.
02:46Now, you know how Santa uses these flying reindeers pull his sleigh.
02:51You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen.
02:58Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen.
03:00But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?
03:11The End
03:12The End
04:20Well, now let me tell you about Rudolph.
04:23It all started a couple of years before the big snow.
04:28It was springtime and Santa's lead reindeer, Donner, had just become a proud papa.
04:36Ah, we'll, we'll call him Rudolph.
04:40Rudolph is a lovely name, Rudolph.
04:43Hey, he knows his name already.
04:48Papa, Mama.
04:51He's, he's got a shiny nose.
04:54Shiny?
04:55I'd even say it glowed.
05:00Well, we'll simply have to overlook it.
05:03How can you overlook that?
05:04His beak blinks like a blinking beacon.
05:06Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
05:09Well, Donner, where's the new member of the family?
05:13After all, if he's going to be on my team someday, he'd better get to know me.
05:18Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
05:20Well, hi there.
05:22Aren't you the sturdy little fellow?
05:24Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
05:26Santa.
05:28Ho, ho, and smart too.
05:33Great bouncing iceberg.
05:35Now, I'm sure it'll stop as soon as he grows up, Santa.
05:38Well, let's hope so if he wants to make the sleigh team someday.
05:43You see, little fellow, every year I shine up my jingle bells for eight lucky reindeer.
05:53Jingle, jingle, jingle. You will hear my sleigh bells ring. I am old Kris Kringle. I'm the king of jingling.
06:02Jingle, jingle, reindeer. Through the frosty air they'll go. They are not just plain deer. They're the fastest deer I
06:11know.
06:11Ho, ho, ho. You must believe that on Christmas Eve I will pass you by. I'll dash away in my
06:18magic sleigh flying through the sky. Jingle, jingle, jingle. You will hear my sleigh bells ring. I am old Kris
06:28Kringle. I'm the king of jingling. I am old Kris Kringle. I'm the king of jingling. Ho, ho.
06:39Ho, ho. Bye, bye. No, Santa's right. He'll never make the sleigh team. Wait a minute. I've got it. We'll
06:50hide Rudolph's nose. Hide it? Yeah. Come here, boy. You'll be a normal little buck just like everybody else, right?
06:58A chip off the old antlers.
07:02A chip off the old antlers. Now, now, you'll get used to it. Put it there, son.
07:07Aw, gee.
07:16Well, for the first year, the Donner's did a pretty fair job of hiding Rudolph's, uh, uh, non-conformity.
07:25Donner taught Rudolph all the ins and outs of being a reindeer, how to get food, how to fight off
07:30enemies, things like that.
07:32But most important, most important of all, he taught his son to beware of the abominable snow monster of the
07:45north.
07:45He's mean, he's nasty, and he hates everything to do with Christmas.
07:57Now, aside from the abominable, business goes on as usual, and soon it is right before Christmas.
08:06And everybody is getting ready for that big, big sleigh ride on the night of the 24th, Christmas Eve.
08:14You see, all the toys Santa brings are made by these elves.
08:20Seems elves have that certain act for toy making.
08:25All except for this, this one misfit.
08:31Herbie! Aren't you finished painting that yet?
08:35There's a pile up a mile wide behind you.
08:39What's eating you, boy?
08:41Not happy in my work, I guess.
08:43What?
08:44What?
08:44I just don't like to make toys.
08:47Oh, well, if that's all.
08:50What?
08:51You don't like to make toys?
08:53No.
08:55Herbie doesn't like to make toys.
08:58Herbie doesn't like to make toys.
09:00Herbie doesn't like to make toys.
09:01Herbie doesn't like to make toys.
09:02Toys?
09:03Do you mind telling me what you do want to do?
09:07Well, sir, someday I'd like to be a dentist.
09:12A dentist?
09:14Well, we need one up here.
09:16I've been studying.
09:17It's fascinating.
09:18You've no idea.
09:19Molars and bicuspids and incisors.
09:21Now, listen, you.
09:23You're an elf.
09:24And elves make toys.
09:26Now, get to work.
09:29Ten minutes break.
09:34Not for you.
09:36Finish the job or you're fired.
09:48Why am I such a misfit?
09:51I am not just a nitwit.
09:54You can't fire me.
09:56I quit.
09:57Seems I don't fit in.
10:03Oh, well, such is the life of an elf.
10:08Meanwhile, Rudolph is having his growing pains, too.
10:13Old Donner is determined to keep Rudolph's nose a secret.
10:18All right, son.
10:20Try it on.
10:21I don't want to.
10:22Daddy, I don't like it.
10:24You'll like it and wear it.
10:25Oh, but, Daddy.
10:28It's not very gullible.
10:30There are more important things than comfort.
10:33Self-respect.
10:35Santa can't object to you now.
10:43Why am I such a misfit?
10:47I am not just a nitwit.
10:51Just because my nose is closed.
10:56Why don't I fit in?
11:03And so time passes.
11:06Christmas comes and goes on schedule, and soon it is April.
11:10That's when all the new fawns come out with their folks to meet the other new fawns.
11:15And to be inspected by Santa.
11:21Now, don't worry about your nose, son.
11:23Just get out there and do your stuff.
11:25Remember, you're my little bug.
11:34Hi.
11:35My name's Fireball.
11:36What's yours?
11:37Rudolph, come on.
11:39You can be my buddy.
11:40Where are we going?
11:42To the reindeer games.
11:43Makes antlers grow.
11:44Besides, it's a great way to show off in front of the does.
11:48Come on.
11:52Ah, you.
11:54Meanwhile, the elves are bustling with activity.
11:58Christmas is over, but they still keep busy with lessons and elf improvement.
12:03All out for elf practice!
12:07Well, let's get this over with.
12:09I have to go down and look over the new deer.
12:11Okay, Santa.
12:12Now let's try out the new elf song I wrote.
12:15And remember, it's for Santa.
12:18And a one-a.
12:19And a two-a.
12:20And a three-a.
12:22Ho, ho, ho.
12:23Ho, ho, ho.
12:24We are Santa's elves.
12:26We are Santa's elves.
12:29Filling Santa's shelves.
12:31With a toy for each girl and boy.
12:34Oh, we are Santa's elves.
12:36We work hard all day.
12:39But our work is plain.
12:41Dolls we try out, see if they cry out.
12:44We are Santa's elves.
12:46We've a special job each year.
12:49We don't like to brag.
12:52Christmas Eve, we always tell Santa's back.
12:56Santa knows who's good.
12:59Do the things you should.
13:01And we bet you he won't forget you.
13:04We are Santa's elves.
13:26We've a special job each year.
13:29We don't like to brag.
13:32Christmas Eve, we always tell Santa's back.
13:37Santa knows who's good.
13:39Do the things you should.
13:42And we bet you he won't forget you.
13:45We are Santa's elves.
13:47Ho, ho, ho.
13:48Ho, ho, ho.
13:49We are Santa's elves.
13:51Ho, ho.
13:55Hmm.
13:56Well, it needs work.
13:58I have to go.
14:00What does Papa know?
14:02It's beautiful.
14:03You keep it just the way it was.
14:05Papa?
14:06Papa!
14:08That sounded terrible.
14:11The tenor section was weak.
14:13Wasn't our fault, boss.
14:15Herbie didn't show up.
14:16What?
14:19Now, this won't hurt a bit.
14:21Why weren't you at elf practice?
14:25Just fixing these dolls' teeth.
14:27Just fixing.
14:28Now, listen.
14:30We have dolls that cry, talk, walk, blink, and run at temperature.
14:36We don't need any chewing dolls.
14:38I just thought I found a way to fit in.
14:42You'll never fit in.
14:44Now, you come to elf practice and learn how to wiggle your ears and chuckle warmly and go hee-hee
14:50and ho-ho and important stuff like that.
14:53A dentist.
14:55Good grief.
15:00No, I just can't.
15:02It's like he said.
15:04I'll never fit in.
15:11I guess I'm on my own now.
15:20Hey, look.
15:21Those.
15:25Hey, what do you know?
15:26One of them likes you.
15:28Yeah, Fireball?
15:30You really think so?
15:33Uh-uh.
15:35Here comes the coach.
15:40All right, all right, Yellings.
15:42All right now.
15:44That's better.
15:45My name is Comet.
15:47And even though I'm your instructor, I want to be your pal.
15:51Right?
15:51Right.
15:52My job is to make bucks out of you.
15:54So let's go.
15:57Now then, our first game is called takeoff.
16:00We all want to pull Santa's sleigh someday, don't we?
16:03So we must learn to fly.
16:05Okay.
16:05Now, who's first to try?
16:07Oh, are you?
16:08One at a time.
16:09One at a time.
16:11Two majors.
16:12You.
16:12You're Dash's little boy, aren't you?
16:14You go first.
16:15Oh.
16:16All right now.
16:17The whole trick is getting up enough speed and jumping into the wind.
16:21You got it?
16:21Go ahead.
16:22Mm-hmm.
16:23Mm-hmm.
16:24Mm-hmm.
16:25Mm-hmm.
16:25Mm-hmm.
16:25Mm-hmm.
16:25Mm-hmm.
16:27Mm-hmm.
16:29Mm-hmm.
16:32He won't get to us for a while yet.
16:34Now's your chance to get acquainted with that, too.
16:42Nice day.
16:45Yep.
16:46For takeoff practice, I mean.
16:49Yep.
16:51I bet you'll be the best.
16:54Oh, I don't know.
16:57Something wrong with your nose.
16:58I mean, you talk kind of funny.
17:02What's so funny about the way I talk?
17:05Well, don't get angry.
17:07I don't mind.
17:08You don't?
17:11My name's Clarice.
17:13Hi.
17:15My name's Rudolph.
17:17Hi.
17:18Hi.
17:21Hey, Clarice.
17:23Hey, after practice, would you...
17:26Would you...
17:28Rudolph, you get back here.
17:29It's your turn, you know.
17:31Gee, I gotta go back.
17:33Would you walk home with me?
17:35Uh-huh.
17:37Rudolph.
17:40I think you're cute.
17:42I'm cute.
17:44I'm cute.
17:48Magnificent.
17:48I'm cute.
17:50I'm cute.
17:51She said I'm cute.
17:56Not bad.
17:57Not bad.
17:58Not bad at all.
17:59Hey, you're okay.
18:01She said I'm cute.
18:03Ha-ha.
18:04Come on.
18:12For crying out loud.
18:14Fireball?
18:15What's the matter?
18:16Get away.
18:18Get away from me.
18:19Now, now, now, now.
18:20What's this nonsense here, Bucks?
18:21After all...
18:22Yeah!
18:26Hey.
18:27Look at the bee.
18:28Look at the bee.
18:29Hey, fire snooze.
18:30Hey, ball paw.
18:31Sweet snuff.
18:33Stop calling me names.
18:35Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
18:38Donner, you should be ashamed of yourself.
18:41What a pity.
18:42He had a nice takeoff, too.
18:46All right.
18:47All right, now, Yannings.
18:48Back to practice.
18:50Oh, no.
18:51Not you.
18:52You better go home with your folks.
18:54From now on, gang, we won't let Rudolph join in any reindeer games.
18:57Right?
18:58Right.
18:59Right.
18:59Right.
19:00Right.
19:06Rudolph?
19:09Rudolph?
19:11Rudolph?
19:13Well, what do you want?
19:16You promised to walk me home.
19:19Aren't you going to laugh at my nose, too?
19:22I think it's a handsome nose.
19:24Much better than that silly false one you were wearing.
19:27It's terrible.
19:29It's different from everybody else's.
19:31But that's what makes it so grand.
19:33Why, Annie Doe would consider herself lucky to be with you.
19:37Yeah?
19:39But I wasn't very lucky today, was I?
19:43I wish...
19:46I...
19:47I wish...
19:48I...
19:49There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true.
19:55Believe in your dreams, come what may.
20:02There's always tomorrow so much to do, and so little time in a day.
20:17We all pretend the rain for the day, and you'll be there, my friend, someday.
20:44We all pretend the rain for the day, and you'll be there, my friend, someday.
20:58There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true.
21:06Tomorrow is not far away.
21:25Clarice?
21:26Papa!
21:26You get back to your cave this instant.
21:28But I...
21:29This instant, young lady!
21:31Yes, sir.
21:32Now, there's one thing I want to make very plain.
21:35No doe of mine is going to be seen with a red-nosed reindeer.
21:46Oh, is this your snowbank?
21:50No.
21:51Who are you?
21:52Well, actually, I am a dentist.
21:55A dentist?
21:57Well, I want to be someday.
22:00Right now, I'm just an elf.
22:02But I don't need anybody.
22:05I'm...
22:05I'm independent.
22:08Yeah?
22:09Me too.
22:11I'm...
22:12Whatever you said.
22:14Independent.
22:18Hey, what do you say we'd both be independent together, huh?
22:24You wouldn't mind my red nose?
22:28Not if you don't mind me being a dentist.
22:32It's a deal.
22:36We're a couple of misfits.
22:39We're a couple of misfits.
22:41What's the matter with misfits?
22:43That's where we fit in.
22:45We're not gappy and chilly.
22:48Don't go round willy-nilly.
22:50Seems to us kind of silly.
22:52But we don't fit in.
22:54We may be different from the rest.
22:58Who decides the test of what is really best?
23:03We're a couple of misfits.
23:05We're a couple of misfits.
23:07What's the matter with misfits?
23:10That's where we fit in.
23:15Why am I such a misfit?
23:17I am not just a nitwit.
23:19I'm a deer of a reindeer.
23:22Why don't I fit in?
23:24Why am I such a misfit?
23:26I am not just a nitwit.
23:28They can't fire me.
23:30I quit.
23:31Seems I don't fit in.
23:33We may be different from the rest.
23:37Who decides the test of what is really best?
23:42We're a couple of misfits.
23:44We're a couple of misfits.
23:46What's the matter with misfits?
23:48That's where we fit in.
23:55Now, these two didn't have any idea about what they were letting themselves in for.
23:59The world looked a lot more complicated and dangerous than it seemed when they were snug and warm at home.
24:13The abominable, he must see your nose.
24:15Quick, douse the light.
24:23Like I said, the outside world is up to its ears in danger.
24:43Well, somehow, Rudolph and Hermie managed to get through the first night.
24:57Don't you understand, North Poltod?
25:00Don't you understand, North Poltod?
25:00Mush!
25:01What's this?
25:05Hey, you get frostbit that-a-way.
25:08Who are you?
25:09Who am I?
25:11The name's Yukon Cornelius.
25:14The greatest prospector in the North.
25:17This is my land.
25:19And you know, it's rich with gold.
25:22Gold!
25:23Gold and silver.
25:25Silver and gold.
25:26Woo-hoo!
25:29Woo-hoo!
25:33Nothing.
25:36Silver and gold.
25:38Well, what do you think of our friend Cornelius?
25:42Seems all he thinks about is silver and gold.
25:46Silver and gold.
25:48Silver and gold.
25:51Everyone wishes for silver and gold.
25:55How do you measure its worth?
26:00Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
26:11Silver and gold.
26:13Silver and gold.
26:16Means so much more when I see.
26:21Silver and gold decorations on every Christmas tree.
26:32What's a Christmas tree without tinsel and pretty silver and gold decorations?
26:38Can't really call it a Christmas tree, now can you?
26:41And think of all the fun and joy that would be lost on Christmas morning if all the young
26:46folks didn't get to see that sparkling happy tree.
26:51Silver and gold.
26:54Silver and gold.
26:57Means so much more when I see.
27:02Silver and gold decorations on every Christmas tree.
27:22Oh, well.
27:23Now I'm off to get my life-sustaining supplies.
27:25Cornmeal and gunpowder and ham hocks and guitar strings.
27:29I'll give you a lift.
27:30Hop aboard, mateys.
27:32Now.
27:33Mush.
27:35Mush.
27:38Mush.
27:40Like this.
27:42Watch.
27:56Gad, Zeus.
27:57The Bumble Snow Monster of the North strikes again.
28:01It's my nose.
28:02He keeps giving us away.
28:06Anything I hate is annoying a Bumble Snow Monster.
28:10Mush.
28:14We'll have to outwit the fiend with our superior intelligence.
28:18Oh.
28:19Douse your nose and run like crazy.
28:23Come on.
28:27Come on.
28:37We're trapped.
28:39There's no way out.
28:40It's my nose again.
28:43It's ruined us.
28:48The Bumble has one weakness.
28:51And I know it.
28:59Do it yourself, icebergs.
29:08The Bumble's one weakness.
29:16The Bumble's one weakness.
29:18Ha-ha!
29:24Yukon Cornelia scores again.
29:27Whoppy!
29:32Whoppy!
29:33Nothing.
29:35Uh, mister, where are we going?
29:38You're going to stay with me.
29:39And we'll all be rich.
29:41With the biggest silver strike this side of Hudson Bay.
29:45Silver!
29:47I thought you wanted gold.
29:50I changed my mind.
29:54Yes, sir.
29:55Our friends were really on their way.
29:57But not one of them knew where they were going.
30:02Now, you can bet old Donner felt pretty bad about the way he had treated Rudolph.
30:07And he knew that the only thing to do was to go out and look for his little buck.
30:13Mrs. Donner wanted to go along, naturally.
30:16But Donner said,
30:17No, this is man's work.
30:20And no sooner did the man of the house leave when Mrs. Donner and Clarice decided to set out on
30:27their own.
30:28Now, they were really taking their chances.
30:32Because, you see, that little ice boat had run into a pack of mighty wicked fog.
30:44Fog is thick as peanut butter.
30:46You mean pea soup.
30:48You eat what you like, or I'll eat what I like.
30:50Nya!
30:54Land ho!
30:58No kidding.
31:00Where are we?
31:07Hey, looky up there.
31:13Halt!
31:14Who goes there?
31:15Us, of course.
31:16Who'd you think?
31:17Oh, well, then that's okay.
31:19Okay.
31:20Who, may I ask, are you?
31:22We're Rudolph and Hermie and Yukon Cornelius, sir.
31:26Who are you?
31:28I'm the official sentry of the Island of Misfit Toys.
31:31A jack-in-the-box for a sentry?
31:33Yes.
31:34My name is...
31:35Don't tell me.
31:36Jack.
31:36No, Charlie.
31:39No, Charlie.
31:39Charlie.
31:39Charlie.
31:39That's why I'm a misfit toy.
31:42My name is all wrong.
31:44No child wants to play with a Charlie in the box, so I had to come here.
31:48Where's the Island of Misfit Toys?
31:53We're on the Island of Misfit Toys.
31:59Here we don't want to stay.
32:04We want to travel with Fazzard Coss in his magic sleigh.
32:17A pack full of toys means a sack full of joys for millions of girls and for millions of boys.
32:24When Christmas Day is here, the most wonderful day of the year.
32:32A jack-in-the-box waits for children to shout.
32:36Wake up!
32:37Don't you know it's time to come out?
32:39When Christmas Day is here, the most wonderful day of the year.
32:47Toys go long, scattered on the floor.
32:53There's no room for more, and it's all because of Santa Claus.
33:02A scooter for Jimmy, a dolly for Sue, the kind that will even say, how do you do it?
33:09When Christmas Day is here, the most wonderful day of the year.
33:18How would you like to be a spotted elephant?
33:21Or a choo-choo with square wheels on your caboose?
33:26Or a water pistol that shoots jelly?
33:28Jelly!
33:29We're all misfits!
33:32How would you like to be a bird that doesn't fly?
33:35I'd swim!
33:36Or a cowboy who rides?
33:39An ostrich!
33:41Or a boat that can't stay afloat?
33:43We're all misfits!
33:47If we're on the island of unwanted toys, we'll miss all the fun with the girls and the boys.
33:54When Christmas Day is here, the most wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful day of the year.
34:08Hey, we're all misfits, too.
34:11Maybe we could stay here for a while.
34:13Well, you'd have to get permission from King Moon Racer.
34:16Who's he?
34:18He rules here.
34:19Every night, he searches the entire earth.
34:22When he finds a misfit toy, one that no little girl or boy loves,
34:27he brings it here to live in this island till someone wants it.
34:30He's holding court in his castle right now.
34:38Come closer.
34:40What do you desire?
34:42Well, we're a couple of misfits from Christmastown, and now we'd like to live here.
34:48No, that would not be possible.
34:50This island is for toys alone.
34:52How do you like that?
34:54Even among misfits, you're misfits.
34:57Unlike playthings, a living creature cannot hide himself on an island.
35:02But perhaps, being misfits yourselves, you might help the toys here.
35:07Help them?
35:08Yes.
35:09When someday you return to Christmastown, would you tell Santa about our homeless toys?
35:15I'm sure he could find little boys and girls who would be happy with them.
35:20A toy is never truly happy until it is loved by a child.
35:25When and if we ever get back, we'll tell Santa, sir.
35:30Good.
35:31You are free to spend the night.
35:34Footman, show our friends to their chambers.
35:41No, it's all settled.
35:43We leave tomorrow together.
35:45But the abominable will see my nose and get us all.
35:48I've got to go alone.
35:50Nonsense.
35:51It's all for all and one for...
35:53I mean, one for...
35:54Let's get some shut-eye.
35:56But it's all settled.
36:04Well, poor Rudolph realizes that he can't endanger his friends' lives anymore.
36:10And so, that night, he decides to strike out on his own.
36:23Goodbye, Cornelius.
36:25I hope you'll find lots of tinsel.
36:28Goodbye, Hermie.
36:30Whatever a dentist is, I hope someday that you're the greatest.
36:47Well, time passed slowly.
36:51Rudolph existed as best he could.
36:55The snow monster kept him on the run.
36:59But once in a while, he would stop and make a friend.
37:02Or two.
37:04But it wouldn't last long.
37:07And Rudolph would be on his own again.
37:10But during all that time, a strange and wonderful thing was happening.
37:20Rudolph was growing up.
37:22And growing up made Rudolph realize you can't run away from your troubles.
37:30And pretty soon, he knew where he had to go.
37:34Home.
37:40You!
37:41I thought you were gone for good.
37:43Hey, look who's back.
37:44Oh, neon now.
37:51Mom, Pa, I'm home.
37:55They're gone, Rudolph.
37:58They've been gone for months.
38:00Out looking for you.
38:02Clarice?
38:03She's gone, too.
38:04And I'm very worried.
38:06Christmas Eve is only two days off.
38:08And without your father,
38:09I'll never be able to get my sleigh off the ground.
38:13Gone?
38:15I'll find him, sir.
38:17I'll find them all.
38:19Well, he was just about to leave when suddenly...
38:25It hit.
38:28The storm of stone.
38:31And only two days before Christmas Eve.
38:46Now, Rudolph knew that he had to find his folks right away.
38:50And he knew where he had to look.
38:53The cave of the abominable snow monster.
39:06Put her down!
39:08Put her down!
39:17Put her down!
39:34Tell me when it's over.
39:38Oh, where was I?
39:39Their last chance.
39:41Not quite, you see.
39:43Ever since Rudolph left them, Hermie and Yukon Cornelius had been trying to find their friend.
39:48Well, they arrived in Christmastown just as the storm hit.
39:53And it was a good thing that I sent them right out after Rudolph.
40:04Hey, look.
40:08Whoa!
40:10Whoa!
40:13Unmush, will you?
40:19What do we do?
40:20We can't let that monster get a hold of them.
40:23I got an idea.
40:25Listen.
40:27Yes.
40:28And then...
40:29Yes.
40:30Eh?
40:31Not bad.
40:32It might work.
40:38Why does he get it over with?
40:41Mom.
40:44Clarice.
40:45Are you sure we can get him to come out here?
40:49Never knew the Bumble snow monster yet who turned down a pork dinner for deer meat.
40:55Do your stuff.
40:59Oink, oink.
41:00Put some heart in it.
41:02That Bumble's hungry.
41:04Oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink.
41:07Oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink,
41:17oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink,
41:19oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink,
41:21oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink, oink
41:37Come on, Cornelius!
41:38Ta-da! In person?
41:41We're saved!
41:42Let's get out of here!
41:44I'll light the way!
41:49Why blast your hairy bumblehide?
41:52Don't let this big blowhide scare you anymore.
41:56Just walk right past them.
42:06I tell you, you're looking at a mighty Humble Bumble.
42:15He's nothing without his choppers.
42:18Let me at him.
42:19Wahoo!
42:32Oh, he's gone!
42:36He's gone!
42:37Oh, he's gone!
42:41Well, they are all very sad at the loss of their friend,
42:45but they realize that the best thing to do
42:48is to get the women back to Christmas town.
42:50So they make it back, and when everybody hears their story,
42:54they start to realize, maybe, they were a little hard on the misfits.
42:59Maybe misfits have a place, too.
43:03Even Santa realizes that maybe he was wrong.
43:08Rudolph, I promise, as soon as this storm lets up,
43:12I'll find homes for all those misfit toys.
43:16All right, you can open up a dentist's office next week after Christmas.
43:22Come here, open your mouth.
43:25Oh, dear.
43:27I'd better set up an appointment for you week from Tuesday.
43:304.30, sharp.
43:32And I'm sorry, too, Rudolph, for the way I acted.
43:37Open up!
43:38Isn't a fit night out for man or beast?
43:45Here's the man, and here's the beast.
43:51Now, calm down.
43:52Calm down.
43:53I reformed this Bumble.
43:55He wants a job.
43:58Looky what he can do.
44:04And he doesn't even need a stepladder.
44:08But...
44:09But you went over the side of the cliff.
44:12Didn't I ever tell you about Bumbles?
44:14Bumbles, Bumbles, Bounce!
44:20Well, as everyone feels, this is no time for celebrating.
44:24Because the next day is Christmas Eve.
44:28It's the biggest day of the year.
44:32Eat, Papa, eat!
44:35How can I eat?
44:36That silly elf song is driving me crazy.
44:39You're going to disappoint the children.
44:41They expect a fat Santa.
44:45Latest weather report, sir.
44:48Well, this is it.
44:50The storm won't subside by tonight.
44:53We...
44:54We'll have to cancel Christmas.
44:58Papa, are you sure?
45:01Everything's grounded.
45:02Oh.
45:03Oh, the poor kids.
45:05They've been so good this year, too.
45:07But I couldn't chance it.
45:10I'll have to tell everybody that it's all off this year.
45:16Quiet, quiet, please, everybody.
45:19Quiet, quiet.
45:21I've got some bad news, folks.
45:26Christmas is going to be canceled.
45:30There's nothing I can do.
45:32This weather...
45:33Rudolph, Rudolph, please.
45:36Could you tone it down a bit?
45:38I mean, that nose of yours.
45:41That nose.
45:44That beautiful, wonderful nose.
45:48Huh?
45:49Rudolph, Christmas is not off.
45:51And you're going to lead my team.
45:54I am?
45:56Yes, sir.
45:57You and that wonderful nose of yours.
46:00My nose, sir?
46:01Oh, from what I see now,
46:04that'll cut through the murkiest storm they can dish up.
46:07What I'm trying to say is,
46:10Rudolph, with your nose so bright,
46:13won't you guide my sleigh tonight?
46:17It will be an honor, sir.
46:21I knew that nose would be useful someday.
46:24I knew it all wrong.
46:27Holly, holly, holly, holly, holly, holly, holly, holly, holly.
46:32Have a holly, holly, holly Christmas.
46:35It's the best time of the year.
46:38I don't know if there'll be snow,
46:40but have a cup of cheer.
46:42Have a holly, holly, holly Christmas.
46:45And when you walk down the street
46:47Say hello to friends you know
46:50And everyone you meet
46:52Ho, ho, the mistletoe
46:55Hung where you can see
46:58Somebody waits for you
47:00Kiss her once for me
47:02Have a holly, holly, holly Christmas.
47:05And in case you didn't hear
47:07Oh, by golly, have a holly, holly, holly Christmas
47:12This year
47:22Holly, holly, holly, holly, holly, holly
47:27Have a holly, holly Christmas
47:30And in case you didn't hear
47:32Oh, by golly, have a holly, holly, holly Christmas
47:37This year
47:44Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho
47:47Now, ho, ho, ho, later
47:49Let me check
47:51Turn
47:52Oh, Mama
47:54Now shake when you laugh
47:56Ho, ho, ho
47:57Ho, ho
47:58Ho, ho, ho, ho
47:59Now that's my Santa
48:02Oh, thanks, Mama
48:04My coat
48:09Ready, Rudolph?
48:11Ready, Santa.
48:13Well, let's be on our way.
48:15Okay, Rudolph, full power.
48:22First stop, the island of misfit toys.
48:28Up, up, up, and away.
48:38There's going to be a hero after this.
48:40Yes, a hero.
48:42That's my boy.
48:45Now, you see how it's done?
48:48Wahoo!
48:55Peppermint!
48:56What I've been searching for all my life!
48:58I've struck it rich!
49:00I've got me a peppermint mine!
49:03Wahoo!
49:11Well, it's Christmas Eve, but...
49:15Looks like we're forgotten again.
49:20But Rudolph promised we'd go this time.
49:24Oh, guess the storm was too much for them.
49:32Might, might just as well go to bed and start dreaming about next year.
49:37I haven't any dreams left to dream.
49:41We'll never get off this island.
49:43Never.
49:44Wait a minute.
49:45What's that?
49:47Is it, is it...
49:49It sure is!
49:51It's Santa!
49:52And look, Rudolph is leading the way!
49:54You can see his nose from here!
49:58Oh, let's see him!
50:00It's Santa!
50:01It's good!
50:03Well, let's be on our way!
50:09Ready, Rudolph?
50:11Ready, Santa!
50:12Okay, Rudolph!
50:14Full power!
50:20Up, up, up, up, and away!
50:25Well, folks, as for the rest of the story...
50:29He went down and hid his story!
50:33Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
50:35Had a very shiny nose
50:38And if you ever saw it
50:41You would even say it close
50:43All of the other reindeer
50:46Used to laugh and call him names
50:48They never let poor Rudolph
50:51Join in any reindeer game
50:53Then one foggy Christmas Eve
50:57Santa came to say
50:59Rudolph, with your nose so bright
51:02Won't you guide my sleigh tonight
51:04Then how the reindeer loved him
51:07As they shouted out with flea
51:10Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
51:12You'll put down in history
51:31Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
51:34You'll go down in history
