00:14The global superstars have been announced as the headliners for the first ever halftime show during the FIFA World Cup

00:20which is set to take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19th.
00:25FIFA made the announcement on Instagram writing, the world's biggest stage, and even bigger purpose,
00:30before confirming that Madonna, Shakira, and BTS will perform during the massive event.
00:35And if that lineup wasn't already enough, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has also signed on to help curate the show.
00:41But this isn't just about music and soccer. FIFA says the halftime performance will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education
00:47Fund,
00:48a new initiative aiming to raise $100 million to help expand access to quality education
00:54and football programs for children around the world.
00:57According to FIFA, $1 from every ticket sold to World Cup matches will go directly toward the fun.
