00:04Thank you, Vash. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. It's that time again. It's Friday and it's also time for your
00:11weather.
00:12We're starting things off with what happened today.
00:15Verbal cloudiness and isolated showers affected both Trinidad and Tobago this afternoon with an isolated thunderstorm noted near Point Fortin
00:24in southwest Trinidad.
00:26And what also happened today? Well, the Met Office issued a high wind alert at 10 a.m. through Sunday
00:32at 2 p.m.
00:34This as strong winds are expected to intensify over the next 24 to 36 hours with possible gusts above 55
00:43kilometers per hour, especially during showers and in eastern or elevated areas.
00:48Loose roofs, outdoor items and tree branches may be affected while rough seas could disrupt marine activity.
00:57Persons should secure loose items, limit small craft activities, follow lifeguard instructions and monitor updates.
01:04Now that we have that covered, let's take a look at what we can expect tonight.
01:09Tonight will be fair to party cloudy at times with brief showers over varying areas with minimum temperatures at 25
01:15degrees in both islands.
01:17And tomorrow, if you're heading out, make sure to grab your umbrella because you will need it for that morning
01:23period.
01:24According to the Met Office, pre-dawn conditions will be party cloudy to cloudy with a few showers and a
01:30chance of a heavy shower as well.
01:32And if you're going to see Ashanti and Ja Rule in concert, you're safe because daytime is expected to be
01:39fair to party cloudy, breezy to windy,
01:42with moderate to at times high concentration of Saharan dust.
01:47Maximum temperatures are expected at 33 degrees in Trinidad and 32 in Tobago.
01:52And we will start the week on Sunday, fair, hazy and breezy to windy,
01:58with conditions becoming party cloudy at times with brief light to moderate showers over varying areas.
02:03And Monday will be the same.

02:07In Trinidad, sunrise is at 543 and 539 in Tobago and sunset at 621 in Trinidad and 618 in Tobago.
02:15Now, keeping in mind that we are under a hazardous wind alert which can affect our seas,
02:21of course, persons are asked to exercise caution.
02:24Tomorrow's seas will be moderate with waves 2.5 meters to 2.9 meters in open waters
02:29and 1 meter choppy in sheltered areas.
