Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a sharp warning to the United Arab Emirates over its growing ties with Israel and the United States amid escalating regional tensions. Araghchi claimed recent conflict had proven that “Israelis cannot protect them” and “Americans cannot protect them,” arguing that the UAE’s relationship with Israel had become “a source of insecurity instead of security.”

His remarks signaled rising frustration in Tehran over Gulf cooperation with Washington and Tel Aviv. The comments come as fears of wider Middle East instability continue growing following recent military confrontations and diplomatic breakdowns across the region

00:00Israelis cannot protect them, Americans cannot protect them.
00:05That was proved during this day. They have not been our target in the current war.
00:11The only, the final statement by BRICS ministerial meeting was blocked,
00:20or some parts of that was blocked by a member state, which has its own special relations with Israel.
00:31And this is very unfortunate. We have no difficulty with that certain country.
00:39They have not been our target in the current war.
00:43However, we only hit American military bases and American military installations,
00:54which are unfortunately in their soil.
00:57So the only reason they stopped the final statement was their support to Israel and the United States
01:06in their aggression against Iran, which is very, very unfortunate.
01:10I hope by the time that we come for the summit, they come to a good understanding
01:20that Iran is a neighbor. We have to live with each other.
01:25We have lived for centuries, and we have to live for centuries to come.
01:33Israelis cannot protect them. Americans cannot protect them.
01:38And that was proved during this war.
01:40The American military bases, their relations with Israel became the source of insecurity.
01:47Instead of becoming the source of security, instead of protecting them,
01:51it was a source of insecurity for them.
01:54So these are the realities that they should understand.
01:58And I'm sure if they follow the line of wisdom, they will found Iran as a good neighbor and a
02:10good partner.
02:12Mr. Prime Minister, Pranay Patra from India today.
02:15My question is that yesterday, President Donald Trump in an interview said that he discussed the issue of the state
02:20of Kabul,
02:21which is the Iran issue, with the Chinese President, Syrian President, and he said that,
02:25you know, Chinese President is ready to help to mediate some kind of solution.
02:29Are you open to that process? And has the process of Pakistan mediator solution has failed so far?
02:36And related question, what steps are being taken by Iran to facilitate the more or the faster movement of the
02:43business goals for a second group of Korea, including 11 partnerships?
02:47Well, the mediation process by Pakistan has not been failed yet, but it is in a very difficult course,
02:54mostly because of the Americans' behavior and the mistrust which exists between us.
03:03We appreciate any country who has the ability to help, particularly China.
03:11China has been helpful in the past in the resumption of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
03:17We have very good relations with China.
03:20We are strategic partners to each other.
03:24And we know that Chinese have a good intention.
03:29So anything that can be done by them to help diplomacy would be welcomed by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
03:40Well, we hope that by the advancement of negotiations, we come to a good conclusion so the Strait of Hormuz
03:51would be completely secured
03:57and we can expedite the normalization of traffic in that strait.
04:28Well, Chabahar port is one of the most important reasons.
04:34One of the symbols of cooperation between Iran and India and we are so glad that Indians played an important
04:42role in the development of that port.
04:45It is now somehow, you know, slowed down because of the U.S. sanctions.
04:52But I am confident that this port would be like a golden gate for India to access Central Asia, the
05:10Caucasus, and then Europe through this transit road.
05:14And also for Europeans, Central Asia, and others to access Indian Ocean.
05:24It is a very strategic port, important for both us and India and many other countries.
05:32So I hope that Indians would continue their work in Chabahar port so it would be fully developed at the
05:43service of the interests of India and other countries around.
