Amanda Peterson lives next door to "Barnsey," the scariest old lady on earth. Rumour has it she's a witch. But the rumours turn frighteningly real when Amanda and her friends set out to bury a dead bird and accidentally dig up a grave that's already occupied by a ghost from Barnsey's past. There's no escaping Barnsey now - and Amanda and her friends have no choice but to confront Barnsey.

00:39I don't know.
01:04I don't know.
01:35I don't know.
02:04I don't know.
02:30I don't know.
02:59I laughed, I cried, I screamed.
03:01You're going to love it.
03:02It's called Grave Secrets, and it's one of my favorites.
03:06There you go.
03:08Who covered?
03:09What's it about?
03:09Well, it starts a couple of weeks before Halloween when Amanda Peterson and her three friends
03:13get into a lot of trouble.
03:16Well, there's Amanda.
03:18It kind of looks like a friend of mine.
03:20You know, it could be.
03:23So what did they do to get into so much trouble?
03:25Oh, they take up a grave.
03:27It's already occupied.
03:29There's no way.
03:30All right, are you guys ready to be scared?
03:32Okay.
03:33Chapter one.
03:35There was no stopping what was about to happen, and Amanda Peterson knew it.
03:41Even as she watched Jared Clark and Kevin Stewart race towards the back of the yard, she knew it was
03:46hopeless.
03:47Oh, no.
04:09Nice hit.
04:10Must be way over there.
04:11That's it.
04:12I'm out of here.
04:12Oh, no you don't.
04:13I'm not going over there to get that ball.
04:15I wasn't going to ask you to.
04:17I'm the one who hit it.
04:18But you have to stay here in case something bad happens.
04:21I see it.
04:23Your ball's right next to the shed where Barnsy throws the rats after she bites their heads off.
04:28Those aren't dead rats.
04:29They're pine goods.
04:31They're dead rats, and you know it.
04:33Everybody knows it.
04:34Just like everybody knows she's a witch.
04:36Why don't we just get another ball?
04:38Because if Barnsy gets that ball, Amanda could be in big trouble.
04:42If Barnsy gets her hands on something that belongs to you, she can put a curse on you.
04:46That's how witches work.
04:47She's right.
04:48I saw this show once where all this witch had was a piece of this kid's hair and a fingernail,
04:54and she blew him up on his own front lawn.
04:57One curse, and he fried.
05:01Look what Barnsy did to Todd French.
05:03Todd French?
05:04Are you kidding me?
05:06The kid's a fungus.
05:07What happened to Todd French?
05:09Todd's brothers threw his baseball hat onto Barnsy's lawn.
05:12Barnsy got it first and put a curse on him.
05:14He ended up with 27 stitches in his head.
05:17It was nine stitches, and Barnsy had nothing to do with it.
05:20He walked into the sliding glass doors at the supermarket.
05:23Because Barnsy made it happen.
05:25She did not.
05:26It was an accident, dude.
05:27Oh, yeah? And what about the bedbugs, then?
05:30Fine. The kid is cursed, okay?
05:32But Barnsy had nothing to do with it.
05:34I'm with Kevin.
05:35You can't let Barnsy get her hands on that ball.
05:39Will you stop with the gum already?
05:41Sorry.
05:43What are you going to do?
05:50Going for it. Got no choice.
05:52Just don't let her catch you,
05:54or you'll end up in the basement with that other little girl.
05:57They say she's all bloody and stuff,
05:59because Barnsy must be torturing her.
06:03Watch my back.
06:11Please, oh please, don't let there be any rats.
06:19Come on. Hurry up.
06:21Get out of there.
06:26Hurry.
06:27She's got it.
06:28Come on, Amanda.
06:29Come on.
06:31Hurry. Come on.
06:34And where do you think you're going?
06:36Help me. Help me.
06:37Don't let her take me to the dungeon.
06:39Oh, I doubt that I'll take you to my dungeon.
06:41Child.
06:42Maybe I'll drag you into the shed
06:44and just bite your heart.
06:47No.
06:48Come on.
06:52Oh, my God.
06:53Run.
06:57Run.
07:02Oh.
07:04The power's way too close.
07:05He came out of nowhere.
07:07I thought I was dead for sure.
07:08She almost ripped my arm off.
07:10Not an arm.
07:11You would have made a great zombie for Halloween.
07:15Oh, no.
07:16What's wrong?
07:18My bracelet.
07:19It's gone.
07:20I've lost my bracelet.
07:21Your friendship bracelet?
07:23Are you sure you were wearing it?
07:24We wear them every day.
07:25Hers matches mine.
07:27That's even worse than the baseball.
07:28If Barnsie's got your bracelet,
07:30she could totally make your arm fall off.
07:32Dude, there's something seriously wrong with you.
07:35It could happen.
07:37You probably lost it somewhere
07:38between squeezing through the fence
07:39and running over here.
07:40Come on.
07:41Let's look for it.
07:50This is hopeless.
07:52We're never going to find it.
07:54Just keep looking.
08:05I touched it.
08:06Ew.
08:07Ew.
08:08Ew.
08:09Ew.
08:11Gross.
08:15Yep.
08:16This guy's been dead a while.
08:18He's already got rigor morphosis and all.
08:20See?
08:21Hard as a rock.
08:23It's rigor mortis, idiot.
08:25I think we should bury him.
08:26Why?
08:27I said we'd check him over the fence
08:29in the Barnsie's dead rat pile.
08:30That way he can make some friends.
08:32I think we should bury him, too.
08:34It's the right thing to do.
08:36We'll put him in the pet cemetery.
08:41Why'd you put your pet cemetery
08:43so close to Barnsie's yard?
08:45Because.
08:46I didn't want to step on their graves
08:47when we were playing.
08:49And we didn't know Barnsie was a witch back then.
08:51So where should I date?
08:53How about in front of Mr. Johnson?
08:56Sounds good to me.
08:57I can't believe you even buried Mr. Johnson.
09:00My mom just left my goldfish down the toilet.
09:08Mama!
09:11Did you hear that?
09:12It sounded like a baby.
09:15You better hope it's not a baby
09:17because that sound just came from under the earth.
09:20It's not a baby.
09:21Who would bury a baby in Amanda's backyard?
09:24Don't even say Barnsie.
09:25Who else would do something like this?
09:27I don't know.
09:28Let's check it out.
09:39Ah, it's just a stupid doll.
09:43Give me the bird.
09:45Let me see it.
09:50That doll is ugly.
09:52Yeah, and really, really old.
09:55Whoever buried it did it a long time ago.
09:57How creepy is that?
10:00It's kind of like burying a person.
10:02Oh, brother.
10:04It's just a stupid doll.
10:06Hey, guys, this doll doesn't have a voice box,
10:09so how did it say Mama?
10:11I don't see a full string either.
10:13Give me that thing.
10:21See?
10:22Told you.
10:24Maybe it's haunted.
10:27Oh, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo.
10:28Get a life.
10:30So how did it say Mama?
10:33Amanda!
10:34Come on in.
10:35It's time to get cleaned up for dinner.
10:37Okay, Mom.
10:39Here.
10:40Take your haunted doll.
10:44Bye.
10:45See ya.
10:46Peace.
10:47Later.
10:49Bye.
10:51Bye.
10:55Wait, it's not until you see it.
10:56It's one of the creepiest dolls I've seen in my life.
10:58I'm glad you didn't bring it in the house.
11:00It's on the picnic table.
11:01I'll show you after dinner.
11:02I want to see it now.
11:04Not so fast, partner.
11:05It's dinner time.
11:08So you're going to clean it up and add it to your collection?
11:12I don't know.
11:12She's in pretty bad shape.
11:14Well, if it's that gross, why don't you just put it in the trash and forget about it?
11:18Don't you think it's weird that someone buried a doll on the back of our yard?
11:22Well, it wasn't always our property.
11:23What do you mean?
11:24Don't you remember what happened when we put up that fence?
11:26Oh, honey, she was too young to remember that.
11:28Sure you do.
11:29It was a terrible mess.
11:30The guys who put it up built it two feet beyond the property line right into Mrs. Barnes'
11:33backyard.
11:34We would have had to move the whole thing if Mrs. Barnes hadn't been so nice to us.
11:37Check.
11:37She actually sold us the last two feet of her property.
11:39So the doll was really buried in Barnes' backyard?
11:42Amanda, how many times do I have to tell you?
11:44Do not call Mrs. Barnes that.
11:46Sorry.
11:47Does it really matter whose backyard it was buried in?
11:49Honestly, I don't know why you kids insist on coming up with such outrageous stories
11:52about poor old Mrs. Barnes.
11:55She's just a lonely old lady that I don't think has any friends or family.
11:59I think it's very sad.
12:02I think it's very scary.
12:24I think it's very scary.
12:44Mama? Mama?
12:50Mama? Mama?
13:07Mama?
13:12Mama?
13:17Mama?
13:19Papa?
13:21Mama?
13:25Mama?
13:27Mama?
13:29Mama?
13:38Mama!
13:40Mama!
13:41Stop it!
13:42Stop it!
13:44Stop it!
13:45Stop it!
13:46Stop it!
13:46Stop it!
13:46Stop it!
13:47Stop it!
13:47Stop it!
13:47Stop it!
13:47No, you stop it!
13:48I want to hear the rest of the story!
13:50Well, so do I!
13:51It's just that talking doll is really creepy.
13:54Well, are you too scared to keep going?
13:56No.
13:58Are you sure?
13:59You know, we can always just finish this story another time.
14:04No.
14:05I want to keep going.
14:07Okay.
14:08Let's see what happens next.
14:11Amanda's head was still under her pillow and she woke up the next morning.
14:15As she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, she half expected to hear the talking doll again.
14:20But thankfully, all she heard was the birds outside her window.
14:27Where is it?
14:40Excuse me!
14:42Amanda!
14:51Amanda!
14:52Amanda!
14:53What are you doing out here in your pajamas?
14:55Go upstairs and get dressed!
14:56Mom, you don't understand!
14:57We'll have to talk about it later.
14:59Please, don't give me a hard time today.
15:00I have a very busy day ahead of me.
15:02And straighten up your room.
15:33I have a great day ahead of me.
15:33I have a lot of room because I don't want to meet her.
15:59I don't know.
16:04Let's go.
16:58I think she's trying to put a curse on me.
17:00What are you talking about?
17:01What happened?
17:01What is going on here?
17:04Nothing, Mom.
17:05A giant spider just ran across my foot, that's all.
17:08A spider?
17:09By the way, you were screaming.
17:10It sounded like you were being tortured.
17:12Can you girls please keep it down?
17:13I was on the phone.
17:15Sorry, Mom.
17:16All right.
17:19So, what do you mean Barnsys put a curse on you?
17:22I think she just sent me a message.
17:24In the bathroom?
17:24I'll show you.
17:29Look.
17:30I don't see anything.
17:37I know for sure I locked the door.
17:40Because I had to unlock it to get out of there.
17:42And the message was totally clear.
17:45This is pretty serious witch stuff.
17:46I know.
17:47Now what am I supposed to do?
17:49Well, if Barnsys really wants that stupid doll back, maybe we should just give it to her.
17:53We can't.
17:54It's gone.
17:55What?
17:56When I woke up this morning, the doll wasn't on the picnic table.
18:00Really?
18:04Okay.
18:05Somebody took the doll, right?
18:06Right.
18:07Then all we have to do is find out who.
18:12My mother.
18:13I'll bet she threw it away in the garbage.
18:16No, I don't need any more roses.
18:17I'm good there.
18:18Mom.
18:20Just one question.
18:21It's going to have to wait, honey.
18:22I'm working.
18:22Yes, I do need ten more silver and eight more gold.
18:26Come on.
18:34Oh, that's disgusting.
18:36Stop the phone.
18:37Just help me get this out.
18:41Amanda!
18:42What are you two doing?
18:44Oh, you guys are in big trouble.
18:47Don't worry, Mom.
18:48We'll clean it up.
18:48Yeah, you better believe you will.
18:50And right now.
18:51Why on earth are you two going through the garbage?
18:53I have to find that doll.
18:55I thought you threw it away.
18:57No, I didn't throw it away.
18:58I know what happened to the doll.
19:00What did you do with it, you little monster?
19:03I didn't do anything with it.
19:04Barnsie took it.
19:05Robin!
19:06Sorry.
19:08I mean, Mrs. Barnes took it.
19:09How do you know that?
19:10I saw her take it last night.
19:13It was really late.
19:15Went downstairs to get a drink of water.
19:17And then I heard this baby crying,
19:19Mama, Mama.
19:20So, I looked through the kitchen window and there was Mrs. Barnes.
19:26She took the doll right off our picnic table.
19:29And that's what made the little girl that was with her cry.
19:33What little girl?
19:34I never saw her before.
19:35But she was wearing a really weird looking dress.
19:39It's the little girl that Barnsie keeps in her dungeon.
19:41What's the little girl all bloody and stuff like someone's been torturing her?
19:45Amanda!
19:46Enough is enough.
19:47Now, it's bad enough you older kids are making up stories about Mrs. Barnes,
19:50but I don't want Robin doing it.
19:51And I don't want you filling her head with that stuff.
19:54Mama, I'm not making it up.
19:56Okay, I'm not talking about this anymore.
19:57You're going inside with me and you, Missy,
19:59are cleaning up that mess.
20:01Right now.
20:03Do you think that Robin was telling the truth?
20:08Shh.
20:09Listen.
20:10What?
20:12Do you hear it?
20:15Text Jared and tell him to come over here right now.
20:28Do you hear it?
20:34She must be in Barnsie's backyard.
20:49Barnsie must have just buried her alive.
20:52Shh.
21:00Hey!
21:02What's up?
21:03Hey.
21:04So, where's this little girl?
21:06Barnsie just buried her.
21:08You actually saw her do it?
21:09No.
21:10Well, we heard the little girl crying in Barnsie's backyard.
21:13And when we went back to look, she was gone.
21:15And Barnsie was carrying a big shovel.
21:16I've got to be sitting down for this.
21:18Just because Barnsie had a shovel doesn't mean she buried a little girl.
21:22Besides, you didn't even see this girl, did you?
21:25No.
21:26But Robin saw her last night.
21:28Robin?
21:29She's always making up stuff just to get attention.
21:31I don't think she made this up.
21:34Last night, I heard the doll crying again.
21:36I didn't tell anybody about it except Laura.
21:39Robin said she heard it too.
21:40And when she got up to look out a window, she saw Barnsie taking the doll.
21:44And the little girl from the dungeon was with her.
21:47And tell them about the message.
21:49It was written on my bathroom mirror.
21:51It said, I want my baby back.
21:53At first, I thought Barnsie did it with her magic powers.
21:56But if Barnsie already had the doll, why would she write that?
21:59Maybe it was the little girl.
22:01The little girl that Barnsie just buried?
22:04Yeah.
22:05Maybe she has magical powers.
22:07And her and Barnsie are like enemy witches.
22:10Yeah.
22:11That makes perfect sense.
22:13Jared, you have to admit that there's something really strange going on here.
22:17I'm really scared that Barnsie does have my bracelet.
22:20We've got to figure out a way to get it back.
22:22The best thing we can do is nothing at all.
22:25If we leave Barnsie alone, she'll leave us alone too.
22:27We've got supernatural witch stuff happening all around us.
22:30And you're acting like you're not the least bit worried.
22:32You know what I'll be worried?
22:33When I see something happen with my own two eyes.
22:37Hey, Jared.
22:39You might want to bring your own two eyes over here and take a look at this.
22:43What now?
22:53Amanda wondered who or what was sending these messages.
22:56Were they coming from beyond the grave?
22:58Or was someone playing a practical joke?
23:01Maybe Kevin didn't.
23:02Just to scare Jared.
23:04Well, I don't know.
23:04There were no handprints or footprints in the sand.
23:06So how could he have done it?
23:07Maybe he used to step.
23:10Well, maybe.
23:11What do you think?
23:12I think you should keep reading.
23:16Well, okay.
23:18Good call.
23:19Good call.
23:20I want my baby back now.
23:23That's all Amanda could think about.
23:25The message in the sandbox.
23:27And in the mirror, she'd been thinking about them all day.
23:30Maybe I'll drag you into a shit and just bite your head off.
23:48Good call.
24:49I'm gonna buy you.
24:51Anna!
24:52I just made some lemonade.
24:54Why don't you come to the porch and have some?
24:57Okay, Mommy!
25:03I'm so glad you like the doll, Daddy, and I got you for your birthday, Anna.
25:07I love her.
25:08She's so beautiful.
25:10Thank you for giving her to me.
25:12You are very welcome, and you are such a good mommy to your new baby doll.
25:19Can I go back and play with her some more?
25:22Of course you can.
25:24Thank you, Mommy.
25:32My baby is gone!
25:37Emily!
25:39I want my baby back!
25:44Emily!
25:45I want my baby back!
25:50Emily!
26:02I want my baby back!
26:04I want my baby back!
26:24I love her!
26:25I want my baby back!
26:25Somebody help me!
26:48You guys gotta see this.
26:51Uh huh, why won't this forward?
26:55What the heck?
26:58I want my boots back.
27:31Laura, she was on my phone.
27:33The little girl was on my phone.
27:35What?
27:36Like, a video message.
27:38And she really, really wants that baby back.
27:41You have to help me.
27:43Can you please just come over now?
27:44Yeah, I'll be right there.
27:46I just gotta tell my mom.
27:48I'll meet you in the front.
28:00Are you okay?
28:01I feel like I'm going crazy.
28:03Did you save the video?
28:04I couldn't.
28:05It disappeared.
28:06What did she look like?
28:06Like a little girl who just climbed out of a grave.
28:10Her clothes were all dirty and bloody just like everybody says they are.
28:13She's younger than us though.
28:14I think she must be like seven or eight.
28:17And she definitely wants her baby back.
28:20Amanda?
28:33What's the matter with you guys?
28:36What was that noise?
28:37I knocked over a shovel.
28:39Robin, did you do this?
28:41Some of it.
28:43What do you mean some of it?
28:46I mean I helped.
28:47Helped who?
28:48Who, Barnsie?
28:49Barnsie?
28:50No way.
28:51I wouldn't color with Barnsie if she had the last piece of chalk on earth.
28:55Then who did you color with?
28:57Anna.
28:58She wrote the message and I traced it in all different colors.
29:02Doesn't it look pretty?
29:04Who's Anna?
29:05I think I'm going to have a heart attack.
29:07Why?
29:07Who is she?
29:10I had a dream last night.
29:12And there was this little girl.
29:14And guess what her name was?
29:15Anna.
29:16Yeah.
29:17And then I was in this grave where I was her or she was me.
29:22Anna's the girl I saw crying on the patio when Barnsie took the doll.
29:26And now Anna wants Emily to give her baby back.
29:28Emily was in my dream too.
29:30Who's Emily?
29:32Emily's the girl who took Anna's baby.
29:34How do you know all of this?
29:36Anna told me.
29:38Gotta add some purple.
29:40Anna likes purple.
29:41We've got problems even bigger than Barnsie.
29:44Maybe the dream was just a coincidence.
29:47And Anna's another one of Robin's imaginary playmates.
29:49You know, like Zoobity Bop.
29:51Remember him?
29:52Zoobity Bop, the giant sea serpent that lived in her closet.
29:56Maybe Zoobity Bop was coloring too.
29:59Zoobity Bop can't color.
30:01He has no hands.
30:03And Anna's not imaginary.
30:06She's just dead.
30:08Yes, the girls I was looking for.
30:11Oh, who wants their baby back?
30:14Anna, the ghost.
30:15Oh, right.
30:17Well, maybe she'll get it back in time for Halloween.
30:19Mm-hmm.
30:20I have a job for you two if you're interested.
30:23I'll do it.
30:24Oh, it's a big girl job, honey.
30:26Aw, I'm big.
30:28So what's the job, Mom?
30:29Okay, I'll give you $5 each
30:31if you'll ride your bikes over to Mrs. Jenkins' house
30:33on Abernathy Street
30:34and deliver the jewelry she ordered.
30:36It would really help me out a lot.
30:44Bye, Mrs. Jenkins.
30:45Bye.
30:46Thanks, girl.
30:46Tell your mom hi.
30:47Okay.
30:49I can't believe that the little girl
30:51from Barnsley's dungeon is actually a ghost.
30:53Yeah, me neither.
30:55Maybe she's a friendly ghost.
30:56What do you mean?
30:57I mean, she was coloring with Robin, right?
31:00Mm-hmm.
31:01So that's pretty friendly.
31:02I guess.
31:03So if Anna's a friendly ghost,
31:05maybe she won't hurt us.
31:07But what if you're wrong?
31:09What if she's not friendly
31:11and she thinks I still have her doll?
31:13Yeah.
31:14Maybe Barnsley told her we dug up her doll
31:16and that's why she's after you.
31:18Since it's your house.
31:19And maybe she's so mad
31:21that she's going to let Barnsley kill you
31:22right after you give back her baby.
31:24Maybe that's why you dreamed
31:25you were being buried alive by Barnsley.
31:30Thanks.
31:31I feel a lot better now.
31:33I'm just saying.
31:34I liked the friendly ghost idea better.
31:37Yeah, me too.
31:38She's probably friendly.
31:41Come on.
31:42Let's get back.
31:45I don't even have the stupid doll anymore.
31:48Someone named Emily has the doll.
31:51So why doesn't Anna just go find Emily?
31:54Maybe Emily's already buried in Barnsley's backyard.
31:58Or maybe not.
31:59We have to find out who Emily is.
32:04Hey, Rita!
32:06I can't!
32:07I'm not even cuddling!
32:09Rita!
32:13Drive this way!
32:17They're not working!
32:20Try them again!
32:21I can't stop!
32:24Amanda!
32:25Cora!
32:27Slow down!
32:28It won't stop!
32:34I can't keep up!
32:36It won't stop!
32:38It won't stop!
32:39It won't stop!
32:39It won't stop!
32:39It won't stop!
32:40It won't stop!
32:40It won't stop!
32:42It won't stop!
32:45Anna?
32:48I know you want your baby back.
32:53But I don't have her.
32:56So you've got to stop haunting me.
33:01Look, I think somebody named Emily has your baby.
33:07I don't know anybody named Emily.
33:10Believe me, if I did, I would tell her to give you your baby back.
33:28You have to tell Emily to give my baby back, or no one will rest.
33:35Wait, I already told you!
33:38I don't know anybody named Emily!
33:42I can't believe it.
33:44I saw her.
33:45I saw Anna the ghost.
33:47What did she say to you?
33:50The same thing she always says.
33:52I want my baby back.
33:54I want my baby back.
33:56I want my baby back.
33:56From Emily.
33:59What are you doing?
34:01It's my mail!
34:03Let's get out of here!
34:07You have to tell Emily I want my baby back.
34:11Amanda!
34:12Come on!
34:13Hurry, she's coming!
34:24Hey, wait up!
34:27She's not following us!
34:28I know!
34:29Then where are you going so fast?
34:31You'll see!
34:32Just follow me!
34:38We're coming up!
34:39Okay!
34:40Hey!
34:51Hey!
34:52Hey!
34:53I've got proof that something supernatural is happening to us.
34:56Proof?
34:56Yeah.
34:57Proof.
34:58Anna the ghost is real.
34:59I saw her with my own two eyes.
35:01And you're never going to believe who Emily is.
35:03Barnesy!
35:04Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
35:05What are you guys talking about?
35:07This.
35:10What's this supposed to be?
35:11And what does it say?
35:13It says occupants.
35:15Gimme that!
35:17This is supposed to have Emily Barnes written on it!
35:20I can't believe that you risked your life for that!
35:22Didn't you look at it before you took it?
35:24I didn't have time.
35:24I just grabbed an envelope where Barnesy grabbed me.
35:28You guys were going through Barnesy's mail?
35:30No.
35:31Anna the ghost threw Barnesy's mail at me.
35:33Well, she didn't really throw it.
35:35The mail just kind of flew at Amanda all by itself.
35:38So, Anna the ghost was going to Barnesy's mail?
35:41No!
35:42She was just trying to tell me who Emily is so that she can get her baby back.
35:45And Emily is Barnesy.
35:47And Barnesy has the baby.
35:48And Anna wants it back, so if Amanda doesn't get it for her, nobody's going to rest in peace.
35:52How hard is that to follow?
35:56There's only one solution.
35:57I'd?
35:58No!
36:00I'm just going to go right up to Barnesy and ask her for it.
36:03Are you serious?
36:05It's the only way to put an end to this.
36:08No!
36:09It's the only surefire way to get yourself murderized!
36:12Then what other choice do I have?
36:18You're not going along.
36:20We'll all go.
36:22Oh no.
36:23No way.
36:24No.
36:24You don't have to go.
36:26If I'm going, you're going.
36:36Don't you think it's kind of weird that out of all the houses in the neighborhood,
36:40Barnesy's doesn't have any Halloween decorations?
36:43You'd think it would be your favorite holiday.
36:45It doesn't need any decorations.
36:47This whole house is a decoration.
36:50Can we just get this over with before we all chicken out?
36:54You know what?
36:55I think it would be best if I stayed behind.
36:58That way if something goes wrong,
37:00I could at least try to save you guys.
37:03I think I'll stay too.
37:05That way I can go for help if we need it.
37:10Are you coming?
37:15Let's go.
37:25Are you okay?
37:39She's watching us.
37:43Should we go back?
37:46No.
37:47Let's keep going.
37:48We'll check.
37:49We'll check.
37:50We'll check.
38:03We're coming over.
38:04We'll check.
38:12We'll check.
38:32What do you want?
38:34Hello, Miss Barnes.
38:39Miss Barnes?
38:40We've come to ask you to give back the doll.
38:44A doll? What doll?
38:46The doll that was buried in my backyard.
38:51I don't know what you're talking about.
38:53Anna's doll.
38:56Miss Barnes, are you okay?
39:04What kind of cruel joke are you two playing?
39:08Miss Barnes, this is not a joke.
39:10You're right about that.
39:12You get off my property right now.
39:14Get off my property and don't come back.
39:18Because I promise you, if I ever catch you here again,
39:21I will not give you the chance to walk away.
39:28Now what?
39:32We need to come up with a serious plan.
39:35I'm thinking.
39:39You got any snacks?
39:40I think better on a whole stomach.
39:43Oh, those.
39:45Yes.
40:00What?
40:01Shh.
40:02She has a red, but she has a dress.
40:06How about that?
40:06I sure hope she's talking to Zoobity Bob.
40:10Who's in there with her?
40:11Shh.
40:12I don't think there's a sock.
40:15There is a sock.
40:18She has a sock.
40:19And don't have on that.
40:20Yeah, you have on that one.
40:21Mm-hmm.
40:22No.
40:23Mm-hmm.
40:24But she just doesn't have on that one.
40:27Oh, whoa.
40:28Got him.
40:30Oops.
40:31Oops.
40:34Oops.
40:35Oops.
40:36Oops.
40:37Oops.
40:37Oops.
40:39Oops.
40:40Oops.
40:54You can have any dog you want, really.
40:58I would never take one of your babies, Robin.
41:01I just want my own baby back.
41:03Then why don't you just go to Barns' Eve?
41:05I mean, Emily, and tell her to give your baby back to you.
41:09I've tried a million times, but Emily can't see me, and she can't hear me either.
41:17How come?
41:18I'm not sure.
41:19I think it's because her heart won't let her.
41:21She doesn't even want to think about me anymore.
41:25It's because Barns' Eve doesn't have a heart.
41:27Someone has to reach her.
41:31Someone has to get my baby back.
41:34I will not leave with water.
41:40Whoa.
41:41That's pretty creepy.
41:43Yeah.
41:43So what happens to them?
41:45Should we read and find out?
41:48Oh, yeah.
41:50Amanda and her friends finally came up with a plan to get the doll back.
41:53It was a dangerous plan.
41:55Too dangerous to attempt in the daylight.
41:58They had to wait until after dark.
42:00Until after everybody else, especially Barns' Eve, was asleep.
42:05Amanda arranged for Laura to spend the night at her house.
42:08That way, Amanda could be sure that Laura wouldn't chicken out.
42:13You think your parents are asleep yet?
42:20I hope so.
42:22Let's go.
42:31I just wanted to get inside pretty damn bad.
42:51I just wanted to get inside pretty damn bad.
43:11Yeah.
43:11Hey, car.
43:18Hello, ma'am.
43:24I'm sorry.
43:24Oh, you're going to get inside pretty damnese goodilla.
43:26Would you get inside?
43:28Oh, you're gonna get inside pretty damn real?
43:29I'm sorry.
43:29Oh, you're gonna get inside the car that I dunno.
43:34Let's get inside.
43:35It's getting hot.
43:36Oh, yeah.
43:39Oh, I'm sorry.
43:41Remember there's a sunny day?
43:49Oh, my God.
44:12Flashlights.
44:28What's that?
44:31Print cycle.
44:49Shhh, I'm sorry.
45:22What if the boys don't show up?
45:25We'll do it ourselves.
45:26Oh no we won't.
45:28They'll be here.
45:30Let's wait over here.
45:42I see the Flashlights.
45:44Oh.
46:00Didn't I tell you that you look stupid?
46:02If I'm going to be breaking into Barnsie's backyard,
46:04I want to make sure nobody sees me doing it.
46:07Then you might want to get rid of those boots.
46:09They practically glow in the dark.
46:11No way.
46:11I'm warning them for protection in case I step on any rats.
46:15It's not the rats we have to worry about.
46:17Ah, come on.
46:20Ow!
46:22Oh brother.
46:40Okay, I'll go first.
46:42Kevin, you follow.
46:43Then Laura.
46:44Then Amanda.
46:45Okay.
46:52Be careful.
47:01I don't know how you guys talked me into doing this.
47:04Let's go.
47:05Audrey.
47:06Oh.
47:21Please don't let Barnsie catch us.
47:29Kevin.
47:30What are you doing?
47:32Keep that thing pointed at the ground you moron.
47:37Over here.
47:39Yeah.
47:40This way.
47:47Kevin.
47:48Will you stop that?
47:49There are no rats.
47:51It's right here.
47:56Close my flashlight.
47:57Okay.
48:02Mama.
48:04Quick.
48:05Get that doll out of the ground so we can get out of here.
48:07We should just get out of here now.
48:09Not without that doll.
48:10Be quiet.
48:11You're going to wake up Barnsie.
48:12Laura.
48:12Get the thing shine out of the ground so we can see what we're doing.
48:15And Kevin.
48:16Watch the house.
48:18And what do you want her to do?
48:21Hey.
48:22How you doing?
48:24Keep digging.
48:25Oh.
48:27So what do I do?
48:28Do I keep talking to her or what?
48:30No.
48:31Everybody keep quiet or we're gonna wake Barnsie.
48:34You already have.
48:37Don't move.
48:39Don't breathe.
48:40I promise you if you do you'll never see the light of day.
48:47Don't move.
48:50Emily.
48:51You have to look at me.
48:53What are you doing here?
48:56Why are you tormenting me?
48:58Amanda get out of there.
48:59Take your friends advice child get out.
49:02Get out.
49:03Get out while you can.
49:04Emily.
49:05Please get my baby back.
49:09I want my baby back.
49:11Emily please.
49:13You have to look at me.
49:16Emily.
49:16I want my baby!
49:18I warn you.
49:20I warn you, child, what would happen
49:22if you ever came on my property?
49:27Why don't you run?
49:28Get out while you can, while you still have the chance.
49:31I'm not leaving until you give back Anna's doll.
49:35You want Anna's doll?
49:39Fine!
49:40Fine!
49:41I'd be happy to get rid of that doll.
49:44I'm so sorry I ever took it
49:46in the first place.
49:47I'm sorry.
49:48It was the worst day of my life when I took it
49:51and every second for 65 years
49:55I've regretted it.
49:57So here, here it is.
49:59Here, you take that, child.
50:01Emily, please!
50:05I want my baby back!
50:07I want my baby back!
50:09Please.
50:12Give her back to me.
50:16My baby's gone!
50:19Emily, I want my baby back!
50:23Emily!
50:28Oh, Anna.
50:36Oh, Anna.
50:38Is it really you?
50:41Yes, Emily.
50:42Emily, it's really me.
50:45Oh, Anna.
50:46Anna.
50:48Oh, I'm so sorry.
50:50I'm so sorry.
50:53I, uh, I, I took your doll.
50:56I, I, I didn't mean it.
50:57I just, I just wanted to play with it
51:00and I was gonna give it right back to you.
51:02And I never, ever had the chance
51:05and I didn't mean for anything to happen.
51:08When I saw the car coming,
51:10I, I screamed, I screamed for you to stop.
51:14And it was, it was too late.
51:17It was too late.
51:20It was too late.
51:22I never, ever meant to hurt you.
51:25I would give anything
51:26in the whole wide world
51:29to change that.
51:31Anything, anything, anything.
51:34I can't change the past, Emily.
51:38But you can give my baby back to me.
51:42Oh, yes, your little baby.
51:48It's your baby, darling.
51:51It's yours and it belongs to you.
51:53Shh.
51:55I'm so glad you have your baby back.
52:17Thank you, Emily.
52:19And thank you, too, Amanda.
52:21I'm so glad you got your baby back.
52:26Now I can rest.
52:28Yes.
52:30Now we can all rest.
52:35Yes.
52:36Yes.
52:37Yes.
52:38Don't cry.
52:38It's all right.
52:39It's okay.
52:41It's okay.
52:52So, Bonzie's really nice.
52:55Yeah.
52:56It's too cool.
52:58What's the matter with you?
53:00Are you crying?
53:03I'm so crying.
53:04I'm so crying.
53:06I'm so crying.
53:06So that's it?
53:08That's the end?
53:09Not quite.
53:11Buckle your seatbelts,
53:12because we're still in for a bumpy ride.
53:15Get unbuckled.
53:16Okay.
53:16All right.
53:17It all started after Emily gave Anna back her baby.
53:21It was almost as if Barnsley had been under a spell herself.
53:24Because when Anna found a way to break it,
53:26Emily Barnsley became a lonely person.
53:29Hey, Barnsley,
53:30why don't you show them what you've got in your pocket?
53:32Oh.
53:32Since it's now getting close to Halloween,
53:37I have something.
53:39Ooh.
53:41Nothing as good as a rat's head.
53:44Do it.
53:45Do it.
53:46Do it.
53:47Do it.
53:48Do it.
53:49Do it.
53:50Do it.
53:51Do it.
53:51Oh.
53:53Mmm.
53:56She likes the gummy worms, too,
53:58but the rats are definitely her favorite.
54:01Who'd have thought you two would turn out to be best friends?
54:04For real.
54:05I'm friends with all of you.
54:06And I love my new bracelet.
54:11And I'm so glad you found mine.
54:13Yeah.
54:14Because I was going to put a hex on you
54:16so that all your teeth would fall out.
54:20This is such a great idea.
54:22I'm sure that Anna would love this.
54:26I hope so.
54:29You know,
54:30all the other kids in the neighborhood
54:32are kind of bummed
54:33that you're not actually a scary old witch.
54:35Oh!
54:36Yeah.
54:37And it stinks your dungeon's just a plain old basement.
54:40I got an idea.
54:41How about
54:43if we take
54:44my basement
54:45and we
54:47turn it into a dungeon
54:49for a Halloween party
54:50and we invite
54:52all the kids
54:53in the neighborhood
54:54and
54:55scare the crap out of them.
54:59Yes!
54:59That would be awesome!
55:01We got it.
55:02We got it.
55:02Oh, yeah.
55:04Definitely.
55:05Oh, God.
55:06You kids are great.
55:08Oh, God.
55:18Oh, God.
55:21Oh, God.

55:54Aw, that's pretty cool.
55:55I think Todd French likes you.
55:58I think he's kind of cute.
55:59What's he supposed to be?
56:01Hey, Todd!
56:02Over here!
56:05Hello, Mrs. Barnes.
56:06Thank you for inviting me to your party.
56:08Well, I'm glad you could come, Mr. French.
56:10That's a very interesting costume that you would want.
56:12I'm an insurance salesman.
56:14Mm-hmm.
56:17Great.
56:18Can you see if I can put my briefcase?
56:19It's my dad's.
56:21Absolutely.
56:22Come with me.
56:25Who's that over there?
56:28I don't know.
56:30Do you know who that girl is?
56:32No.
56:33Her costume is almost as bad as Todd French's.
56:36She's kind of little to be at this party by herself.
56:40Come on.
56:42Hi, um, a little girl?
56:45Oh, hi.
56:47I'm Anna.
56:48I just moved in around the corner.
56:50Do you want to hold my baby?
56:56When you hear the screams
57:01And doesn't make it don't come loud
57:05It's not a dream
57:07No, it's lame
57:08Alright, are you ready for a dead time story?
57:11Yeah.
57:12So what do you have for us this time?
57:13Oh, it's a good one.
57:14This one's really, really scary.
57:16It's called the witching game,
57:17and it's one of my favorites.
57:20It's about 12-year-old Lindsay Jordan and her friends who play a silly little wishing game on an antique
57:24mirror.
57:25What they don't know is, is that it's not just a game.
57:28Especially not in front of this mirror.
57:30Well, that thing's pretty creepy. Is it haunted?
57:34It could be.
57:35So what happens to them?
57:37Something they never would have wished for.
57:40You guys ready to be scared?
57:42Scaring.
