00:00Hey, D.A. Turner.
00:02Mr. Corinthos.
00:04How are you doing this lovely evening?
00:07Oh, just fine. And you?
00:09Couldn't be better.
00:13I'm glad I ran into you.
00:15Is that so?
00:17How can I help you?
00:19You already did.
00:21I just cannot believe that Tracy Quartermain
00:23is running a campaign against the Hello Pants Flame Pats.
00:27Why?
00:28It's the only thing I can believe about this.
00:30And by the way, she's used to getting her way.
00:33Yes, well, so is Jen's Sidwell.
00:36And I gotta tell you, he is furious
00:38that Tracy and her blue blood coalition
00:41have served the city with injunction
00:43banning off flights from his helipad.
00:45Oh, do you know Tracy got me blackballed
00:48from Aurora Wellness?
00:50My gym membership, it has been canceled.
00:52Okay, let's say that Tracy Quartermain
00:55actually cares about gym membership.
00:57How would she go about canceling yours?
01:00Well, through her nephew, of course.
01:01He owns the place.
01:02I mean, the official reason they gave me
01:04was that I don't wipe down the equipment
01:05after I'm done using it
01:06and the calls I take in the sauna.
01:08But please, we both know what's happening here.
01:11Yeah, I can't help you with your gym crisis,
01:13but as far as the injunction goes, I'm already on it.
01:19What is he doing here?
01:22Tracy, thanks for coming by.
01:25Hey, Trina.
01:26Hey.
01:27Oh, hey, Gio.
01:28I didn't realize you'd be here too.
01:29Thanks for coming, Brooklyn.
01:30Yeah, no problem.
01:31We're so close, Phoebe's baby monitor
01:33probably would have worked,
01:34but Chase is taking care of her,
01:35so you have my undivided attention.
01:36How's Phoebe doing?
01:37Oh, she's great.
01:39You should stop by and see her soon.
01:41Phoebe and I would both really like that.
01:43I would too.
01:45So, uh, Trina, any thoughts on the showcase?
01:47Because my offer to arrange one still stands.
01:50Yeah, I mean, it's all that I've been thinking about.
01:52And?
01:53I want to do it.
01:55On one condition.
01:58Nina, why are you here?
02:01Probably for the same reason you're here.
02:03Carly, I'm checking in on Chief Brennan.
02:05I was at Willow's when he collapsed,
02:07and I'm worried about him.
02:09I heard you were there.
02:10Why was Jack there?
02:12I don't know.
02:13He was looking for Willow, but she wasn't home.
02:15And he collapsed just like that?
02:18That's right.
02:19What a stroke.
02:20Like, he was in perfect health.
02:22He exercised regularly.
02:25Like, it's just so shocking to me.
02:28Well, these things happen.
02:29Who knows why.
02:30Yeah, I guess.
02:32But it can't be a coincidence.
02:34What?
02:35The fact that Jack and Drew both had sudden strokes?
02:39And Drew and Willow's house?
02:42There has to be a common cause.
02:45Don't you think?
02:48I'm glad we decided to meet here rather than GH.
02:53For some reason, they frown upon us drinking in our offices.
02:57Or anywhere on or around the premises.
03:00Drinking in your office?
03:02How sad is that?
03:04And there's absolutely no privacy at that hospital?
03:08Well, here is to privacy and to, uh, drinking in your friend's room.
03:15Like in, uh, like in college.
03:18Except, uh, this room belongs to someone that I...
03:22Well, here's to those we love and who have to miss out on all of this.
03:36Thankfully, there's plenty more where that came from.
03:38Oh, good.
03:39Because I am in no hurry to go back to Windermere.
03:46Oh, speak of the devil.
03:48Literally.
03:51Sidwell wants to know when I'm going to the lab.
03:53Can you remind me again why I can't just tell him that his buddy Colum's the one who stabbed Marco?
04:00No, I'm not saying that we can't tell him, just maybe not tonight.
04:03I mean, we have to think it through.
04:05And if anyone is going to tell Sidwell the truth, it should be me.
04:08No way.
04:09I want to see the look on his face when he realizes he brought Marco's murderer into his life.
04:14Well, so do I.
04:15And if you were the one to tell Sidwell, why would he believe you?
04:19You missed dinner.
04:22I'm glad I found you.
04:23I'm just hoping I could talk to you if you got a minute.
04:25But you know what, I am getting a little hungry.
04:27I'm going to go grab something from the kitchen.
04:29Rocco.
04:34I know you shot Colum.
04:52I'm sorry, Carly.
04:53I wasn't aware that your expertise extended to vascular neurology and strokes.
04:59Well, I guess you forgot that I trained as a nurse back in the day.
05:02But I'm not talking about a physiological reason.
05:05I'm just saying that I think Willow and Drew's house may be toxic.
05:08What are you talking about?
05:10Blood paint?
05:11Black mold?
05:12Asbestos?
05:13My grandchildren spent a lot of time there.
05:15I think this should be investigated.
05:16Their house could be dangerous.
05:17Wiley and Amelia are just fine, but I see where you're going with this.
05:20You and Michael are going to try to use this Brennan mishap to take Willow's kids away from her.
05:25Again.
05:26Well, if that's your plan, I'm not going to sit back and let that happen.
05:29And neither is Willow.
05:30This is so typical of you.
05:32A tragedy happens to someone else and all you can think about is how it affects you.
05:36Meanwhile, Jack lies in a hospital bed fighting for his life.
05:39God forbid we try and figure out what the hell happened to him.
05:41What is there to figure?
05:43The man has a high-stress job.
05:46And he's in a relationship with you.
05:48God only knows how constantly irritating that must be for him.
05:52His heart probably just couldn't take it anymore.
05:54I guess you don't know Jack and I broke up.
05:57But I still care about him.
05:59And you better believe I'm going to figure out why he collapsed.
06:02And how do you propose to do that?
06:04I don't know.
06:05I guess I'm going to push for a blood test for Drew and Jack.
06:09And check to see if there's Link.
06:13Well, you know, Carly, I think your time would be better spent warning Lulu
06:17that Valentin is back in Port Charles.
06:21It's come to my attention that a new injunction has been filed
06:25to block the flight path for the new helipad.
06:29I'm guessing that you had something to do with that, Tracy.
06:32I did.
06:33Thank you for noticing.
06:35I told you that you weren't going to get away with it.
06:39For some reason, things just have a way of working out for me.
06:42And not you.
06:44You dirty...
06:45Now, let's give civility a chance, shall we?
06:48Let's not launch into name-calling.
06:50Nobody is trying to get away with anything here, Tracy.
06:53Isn't that right, Ezra?
06:55Ah, yes.
06:56Yes, yeah, yeah, yes it is.
06:58Look, the helipad is in the public's best interest.
07:00It's going to bring businesses to Port Charles, which will help the economy grow.
07:04It is essential to the city's infrastructure.
07:06It is essential to Jen Sidwell so he doesn't have to sit in traffic on the way to the airport.
07:12I find myself compelled to ask once again, what is he doing here?
07:19Every artist has conditions.
07:21What are yours?
07:23I want Gio to accompany me in the showcase.
07:26I'm your condition?
07:27I would be thrilled for Gio to play with you.
07:30I would never give up an opportunity to hear this guy perform.
07:34Okay, that is a relief because I'm really excited about this opportunity, but I'm also, like, really nervous.
07:40Listen, whenever your nerves start to kick in, just try and remember that a showcase is like an audition.
07:46Okay? It gives producers a chance to see what kind of performer you are.
07:49Not just your voice, but your stage presence, too.
07:52A little pressure there.
07:54But, thankfully, I have Gio by my side.
07:57And I love singing with him at Charlie's, and even if this doesn't work out, you know, I'm just, I
08:03just want to give the best performance I can.
08:04And with Gio's help, I will.
08:06So that settles it.
08:08Well, actually, you can't stop for a minute.
08:11It just occurred to me that my being there may not be the best thing for Trina.
08:17I'm meeting Christina here for dinner.
08:19I'm early. I thought, if you don't mind, if I join you for a couple minutes.
08:24Well, I'm expecting someone, too, but I'm also early, so, um, sure.
08:36I'm glad I got a chance to thank you. You suggested that, uh, I investigate Rick's motives for lying before
08:45I took any action.
08:48I guess that means you talked to him?
08:51Did Rick have a satisfactory explanation?
08:54Apparently he was buying a present for someone that he loves, and he didn't want me to know that he
08:58was asking Ava for help.
09:00So you two are good now?
09:03Yeah, we are.
09:05But I'm just curious.
09:06My brother Rick's been a professional thorn in your side for a while.
09:13Why did you go to bat for him?
09:16I didn't do it for Rick.
09:20I did it for you.
09:24I was waiting for you to say something.
09:26I just found out. I mean, I...
09:29You and Charlotte came in after your mom and I were talking.
09:33You weren't talking. You were arguing about me.
09:37Did you listen to anything?
09:40Yeah, I did. Charlotte didn't hear anything.
09:44She doesn't know anything, and neither does Danny, because Mom told me not to tell them. And I haven't.
09:51I just... I wanted to know about this sooner so that I could help you.
09:57Listen, Rocco, first and foremost, I'm your father, okay? And you can tell me anything.
10:02You were my number one priority.
10:05All right? I just want to know that you're okay.
10:07But I'm not. I mean, how could I be? I shot a WSB director. Everyone is trying to cover it
10:14up, but I shot a WSB director. I'm guilty. I almost killed him.
10:21Yeah, you're right. I said, well, we'll just think I'm lying. I do have a bit of a track record.
10:29But maybe I could tell him that Colum knew to find me on the pier because he read your texts
10:35to Marco.
10:36Which would mean that Colum killed Marco and took his phone.
10:41Well, at least we think that's what happened.
10:45I can't tell him that. Neither of us can.
10:47Why not?
10:48Because then I'd have to tell him why Colum went after Marco, because his son was stealing meds for me.
10:55Because I put him up to it.
10:56So he would go after Colum, but then he'd go after you, too.
11:02Valentin, what are you talking about? He was also at Drew and Willow's last night.
11:08Have you been helping Valentin this entire time? Where is he?
11:12No, I haven't been helping him. He just showed up wanting to see Brennan. I have no idea why.
11:17What if the police warn Lulu? Because he's probably going straight for Charlotte.
11:20I didn't tell the police that he was there. Why not?
11:23Because in the moment, I was concerned about Chief Brennan's condition.
11:28And yes, I was a little worried that they would make the same leap you did and accuse me of
11:32harboring a fugitive,
11:34which would have landed me in prison.
11:37So you're not going to say anything at all?
11:39What's the point? I don't know where Valentin is. He could be long gone by now.
11:43Or maybe he's working for the WSB again. Who knows?
11:47Were Jack and Valentin friendly with each other?
11:50I don't know anything. I just know that they had a huge argument.
11:57And their altercation was probably what led to Brennan's stroke.
12:05It was obvious how upset you were at the thought that Rick had betrayed you again.
12:10And it sounded like after years of animosity, the two of you were beginning to act like true brothers, ready
12:15to look out for each other.
12:17That's where I thought we were headed.
12:18I didn't want you to lose that because of a misunderstanding, especially with Jason gone.
12:24You don't have many people you can trust. And in your line of work, that can be dangerous.
12:30You seem to know a lot about me in the kind of isolation that comes with somebody in my position.
12:38Is that because you feel the same way?
12:41I do.
12:45Much to my continuing surprise, I think we have a lot in common.
12:52Sidwell thinks we are grieving together.
12:55And he has no idea how involved I am in Marco's death.
13:00If I were him, I would feel so betrayed.
13:03It's a kind of betrayal, but you're betraying a man who's killed countless people.
13:12One right in front of me.
13:15And he won't hesitate to do it again.
13:20I will not let Jen Sidwell turn Port Charles into his own private airport.
13:27Noise pollution brings down property values and lowers standard of living.
13:31And I love Port Charles too much to allow that to happen.
13:36Yes, because you're such the civic-minded activist.
13:39Please.
13:41You and your rich friends just don't want helicopters buzzing your yachts.
13:45Actually, Tracy is right.
13:47The waterfront will become much busier with the helipad.
13:52But as Ezra pointed out, it will bring revenue to the city.
13:56We are just trying to serve everyone's best interests.
13:59Who's we?
14:01The thought of you and Laura teaming up for anything is laughable.
14:06Actually, Tracy, on this subject, we're a team.
14:11On handing Port Charles to Jen Sidwell on a silver platter?
14:16Are you guilty?
14:18Did you commit a crime?
14:19Last time I checked, shooting someone is definitely a crime.
14:22Well, yeah, it can be.
14:23But there could be extenuating circumstances, like a reason why you thought you had to shoot Cullen.
14:28Why don't you tell me what happened?
14:29Didn't mom tell you?
14:30Yeah, she did.
14:31But I need to hear from you.
14:32I need to hear the facts.
14:36I was worried about Britt, so I followed her to the pier.
14:39I know you, mom, don't like her and are mad that I did that.
14:41No, I'm not mad.
14:43I'm not mad.
14:43Neither is your mother, okay?
14:44We're worried.
14:45I want to help.
14:47Tell me what happened.
14:49Cullen and Britt were arguing.
14:51Then they started fighting.
14:53Britt fell, and Cullen was about to shoot her, and that's when Jason got there.
14:57He didn't do anything wrong, Dad.
14:59He was just trying to save Britt.
15:00Okay.
15:01Okay.
15:01I get it.
15:04What happened next?
15:06Jason and Cullen started fighting, and Cullen's gun went flying.
15:10He had this stick thing, like a metal baton.
15:14He was going to use it to kill Jason, then Britt.
15:17I know you told me never to catch guns, but I didn't know what else to do.
15:21So I picked up the gun, and I pulled the trigger, and I shot someone.
15:27You can't make that better for me.
15:32Maybe I can't, but I'm going to try.
15:35You're the police commissioner.
15:36Aren't you supposed to be arresting me?
15:40I am positive that I want you with me, okay?
15:44I never would have made it through the night at Charlie's without you.
15:47No, you would have been just fine, Trina, but if people at the showcase know that I'm Brooklyn's son, that
15:52might hurt your chances.
15:53What are you talking about?
15:54I just don't want anyone to think that you set up this showcase as a favor to me.
15:59I mean, what if the producers take Trina less seriously because I'm there?
16:02Gio, my reputation is on the line, too, okay?
16:06And people in the business know the quality of singers I have repped in the past.
16:09They know I wouldn't waste their time.
16:11I'm not sure that makes me feel any better, Brooklyn.
16:12Well, it should, because I never would have even suggested a showcase if I didn't truly believe you were ready.
16:19I'm flattered by your faith in me.
16:21I've got more than faith.
16:23Trina, I have heard you sing on the video that Dante sent me and at the nurses' ball.
16:28You've got some real talent, unique voice, and potential to have a career in this business.
16:33You really think so?
16:34I do.
16:36Listen, I understand Gio's concern, but I think the execs may see it another way.
16:42That I have such confidence in your talent, I have arranged for you to play with the very best.
16:49And that's Gio.
16:52Well, I don't think you should be arrested.
16:55Because you're my dad.
16:56And as the police commissioner.
16:59You shot Colum to save someone else's life.
17:04In that moment, you stopped him from killing Jason.
17:07That is the extenuating circumstance I'm talking about.
17:10So what happens now?
17:13Well, under normal conditions, we'd hire a lawyer and you'd come forward with your statement and we'd get you on
17:17the record.
17:18Mom said that because-
17:19But this is not normal conditions, I know.
17:22Colum is director of the WSP.
17:24The WSP is an international law enforcement agency and it's going to be his word against yours.
17:30But Britt was there.
17:31She knows the truth.
17:32She can back me up.
17:33Yeah.
17:33It seems like this whole thing started with Britt.
17:38She's got something going on with Colum.
17:40I know it and she's hiding something.
17:43I don't know why I'm still working on this project for Colum and Sidwell.
17:49I know they're going to use it for something horrible.
17:52And yes, I need my medication, but the first day I saw Jason at the Five Poppies, I think I
17:59just was justifying it to myself.
18:03Because deep down, I thought that Jason would get me out of it before I completed the project.
18:13And Jason's gone and I'm still working on it.
18:16But you don't really have a choice, Britt.
18:18I mean, it's the only way to get your medication.
18:21And if you don't have it, your symptoms would return, right?
18:25Yeah.
18:26But isn't that what's supposed to happen?
18:29I have Huntington's.
18:30Maybe I should just accept the fate and walk away before my father's final project is completed.
18:37No, but the whole point was to get evidence against Sidwell and Colum so he can stop them.
18:45Leaving will not accomplish that.
18:48But they won't get their prototype.
18:49That's something.
18:51I don't know.
18:52The more I think about it, I think it would be best for everyone if I just disappeared.
18:58You said Rick had changed.
19:01Yeah, he has, but you know, so have I.
19:07There was a time when if you lied to me, that was it, no coming back.
19:12Zero tolerance, zero forgiveness.
19:15Well, I'll admit I've often been described as being a hard-nosed, real, um, letter-of-the-law prosecutor.
19:24And I am.
19:26But I always make sure I have all the facts available.
19:30Trust, but verified.
19:32Exactly.
19:33That's a good policy.
19:36You did me a favor.
19:38So, um, does that mean you owe me?
19:43Acting DA Turner.
19:46When we arranged to meet, I didn't expect to find you here with Sonny Corinthos.
19:55Look, for the moment, my focus needs to be on Jack and when he'll wake up.
19:59Because I need to talk to him.
20:00I don't know what to tell you.
20:01I'm not a doctor, so I have no idea when he's gonna wake up.
20:05I get that, Nina.
20:06But God forbid there's a connection between Jack and Drew Strokes,
20:10and Jack ends up in the same state that Drew is.
20:13You better believe the police are gonna find out what happened at Willow's house that night.
20:17Like, why were Valentin and Brennan there to begin with?
20:22No idea.
20:24Doesn't make sense.
20:27Unless...
20:28Unless...
20:29Well, I mean, unless Willow is somehow involved.
20:32Maybe Willow was helping Valentin.
20:34That's ridiculous.
20:36Maybe.
20:37But the fact that an international fugitive like Valentin Casadine was at the Congresswoman's house...
20:44I mean, that would be like catnip for the media.
20:48If the press, the PCPD, and the WSB finds out...
20:54It's gonna get really uncomfortable for Willow.
21:05How can this be Britt's fault?
21:06It's not okay for Colm to beat her up, is it?
21:08No, it is definitely not okay for Colm to beat up Britt.
21:11What I'm saying is that...
21:13The WSB can easily say that Britt is lying.
21:17I mean, she already lied and said she was dead, right?
21:19I mean, who knows what she was even doing when Jason found her at the Five Poppies.
21:21Who cares?
21:22It doesn't change what happened on the pier that night.
21:24No, it doesn't.
21:25I'm trying to tell you that Britt is already on the record.
21:29Saying that she saw Jason shoot Colm.
21:33Who's gonna believe her if she changes her story now?
21:36So if you and Mom both agree that I shouldn't come forward, why were you two arguing about me?
21:44Sometimes people fight when they're afraid.
21:49And your mom and I were scared.
21:53We're scared that Colm's gonna find out you're the one who shot him.
21:57Could he find out?
22:00Dad, tell me the truth.
22:02Well, yeah, Rocker, you left evidence at the crime scene.
22:04Your blood is on the gun.
22:06I mean, luckily me and Nathan are the only two people at the PCPD that know about that,
22:10and then, you know, the evidence, I've got it stashed away someplace safe.
22:16Is that why you want to send me away?
22:19What are you talking about? No one wants to send you away.
22:22We want you here in Port Charles with your family so we can protect you.
22:26But what about Colm?
22:30Colm can't ever know that you were anywhere near the pier that night.
22:34That's why you can't come forward.
22:37It has to be like that shooting never happened.
22:40It's unusual for a DA to be so friendly with Sonny Corentos.
22:45A man with whom the WSB is very familiar.
22:48Turns out I'm very familiar with you, Agent Colm.
22:52Director Colm.
22:53Let me ask you something, Director Colm.
22:57What did you do to Jason to make him allegedly shoot you in the back?
23:05If you want the particulars of Morgan's case, submit an inquiry to the WSB.
23:10Already done.
23:11Director Colm, this is a public place.
23:14Mr. Corentos and I just happened to run into each other.
23:18And I'm only here because you asked to meet informally rather than come to my office.
23:23We have business to discuss.
23:26And it would be better for your career if you would prioritize a WSB director over a well-known thug.
23:33Oh, Mr. Corentos.
23:36I know you're a busy man and I don't want to inconvenience you, but would you mind waiting?
23:41I don't think Director Colm will be here that long.
23:44I don't have a problem. Yeah, I can be here as long as you want.
23:54I wanted to speak with you about the physical and forensic evidence in my shooting.
23:59The WSB needs to take possession of the evidence gathered by the PCPD immediately.
24:08No, no. You are not just walking away.
24:12Do you even know how long you'd last without Colm's medication?
24:15You're talking about killing yourself, Britt.
24:18You're being a tad dramatic, don't you?
24:19No. No, I'm not.
24:21Because walking away means giving up on your life, a life Marco died trying to save.
24:26He risked and lost everything to get you that medication so that you could try to reverse-engineer it.
24:32Yeah, with Jason. And he's gone now.
24:34Oh, well, boo-hoo. Because Jason, Jason would never give up.
24:39And he would be so disappointed to know that you had.
24:43Colm killed Marco because he was trying to get his hands on that medication for you.
24:49So, no. No. I'm not gonna let you throw away your life and make Marco's sacrifice be for nothing. No.
24:59Listen, this showcase is a tryout for everyone involved.
25:02It's possible that you won't enjoy it, but I do think you owe it to yourself to at least try.
25:08Listen, do the showcase, okay? Give the best performance you can so you can make an honest assessment of your
25:14potential and your desire to be on stage.
25:19Do you want to hand the keys to the city over to Jen Sidwell? I can't stop you, but I'm
25:23not going to help you.
25:25That is not what's happening. We're just looking for a solution that can work for everyone right now.
25:31No, no. A solution that works for Jen Sidwell at the expense of everyone.
25:36I assure you, Tracy, everyone wants Jen Sidwell out of poor Charles.
25:42Then why are you giving in to his demands?
25:45Because by appearing to give in to him right now will make it easier for me to get rid of
25:50him later.
25:51History has proven that appeasement solves nothing.
25:54I share your concerns. I do. My point is that we all want the same thing.
25:59We are going about it in different ways.
26:03Clearly.
26:05I give you my word.
26:07I am working on behalf of the best interests of the city.
26:13I am asking you, please, to trust me.
26:18Don't push through this injunction right now.
26:21You know. You know you can always file again later.
26:29I think...
26:32I think that this might be one of the times that Luke would tell me to trust you.
26:38I think you would, Tracy.
26:39Okay.
26:41Okay.
26:41I will.
26:43For now.
26:44Okay.
26:52You're a fighter, Brit.
26:54So fight.
26:56You owe it to Marco.
26:58So don't just...
27:00lay down and die.
27:04I need you.
27:07Please, don't send me away.
27:08You're the only one I can talk to who understands.
27:12You're right.
27:15It's a fantasy to think I can just disappear.
27:20I have to stay.
27:23I'm needed here.
27:25Keeping a secret like this, it's a terrible burden to carry.
27:30And I'm sorry you have to do that.
27:34I would have never wanted something like this for you.
27:39And I know the fact that you can't say anything to anyone...
27:44makes you feel like you've done something even worse.
27:50But you have to know that what you did that night...
27:55that saved lives.
27:58Right, Jason and Brit?
28:00They'd be dead if you hadn't done what you did.
28:05Shooting someone...
28:09even when you feel like it's something you have to do,
28:11it...
28:13it leaves you with a terrible feeling.
28:16But you're a cop.
28:18It's different.
28:19Yeah, it is.
28:20But at the same time, it's not.
28:23I want you to know that I know what you're feeling.
28:25I know what you're going through.
28:26Right now.
28:28And if you ever feel like you want to talk,
28:30if you ever have anything to say about any of it,
28:34I'm there for you.
28:35Okay?
28:37Anytime.
28:42Now I see why this meeting had to be informal.
28:46Because, as you're aware, Director Cullen,
28:49the PCPD is in charge of all the evidence,
28:51not the DA's office.
28:54So, I hope you have all the proper paperwork,
28:57including a court order,
28:58if you want to take possession of it.
29:00Why are you looking to impede a WSB investigation,
29:03ADA Turner?
29:04Because there was no investigation.
29:06The WSB came in, superseded the PCPD's authority,
29:09and unilaterally decided that Jason Morgan was guilty.
29:12That was the WSB's prerogative.
29:14Oh, I'm aware.
29:15But that doesn't make it right.
29:17In fact, perhaps it's time for a big public fight about your secretive tactics
29:23and how the WSB violates U.S. law.
29:26And this could be the high-profile case I've been dreaming of.
29:33Carly, hold on.
29:35You know what? I just remember what Valentin and Brennan were arguing about.
29:40Jocelyn. Of all people, right?
29:44Valentin seemed to think that Brennan knew where to find Jocelyn.
29:48Now, why would Valentin care about that?
29:52And why would Brennan know anything about that?
29:56I have no idea.
29:58Perhaps Director Colum does. He was here asking questions about Brennan, too.
30:03You know what? Maybe you're right.
30:05Maybe I should make sure that Director Colum knows exactly what happened between Valentin and Brennan that night.
30:14I'm going to start calling people tomorrow.
30:16So, have you thought about what songs you might want to sing?
30:19Yeah, actually, we rehearsed a couple.
30:22Great.
30:23Right on me.
30:37Who would ever believe that you, of all people, would be begging me not to leave town?
30:45I wouldn't say begging.
30:46Oh, you got pretty worked up there.
30:48I was making a point, forcefully.
30:52But, the irony is, not lost on me.
30:56Until recently, I'd be the one packing your bags.
30:58Here we are now, drowning our sorrows together.
31:02It's because we're stuck in this mess.
31:04Ugh.
31:07And, until we get out of it, we should keep doing what we're doing so nobody gets suspicious.
31:14Which means I should get to the lab.
31:16Yeah.
31:17And I should get back to Windermere.
31:20Keep looking for evidence against Sidwell.
31:23What do you say?
31:25One more?
31:28It is as if you were in my head.
31:32And I don't like it.
31:39Very few people could have gotten Tracy Quartermain to drop an injunction.
31:43Suffice to say, we dodged a bullet.
31:47For now.
31:49But, you know, a lot of what she said really got to me.
31:53Because I would never be backing this helipad and the new flight path if I weren't being blackmailed by Sidwell.
32:04Look.
32:07Were you lying when you told Tracy that you want to get rid of Sidwell?
32:12God, no.
32:14That's all that matters.
32:15Look, we all want Sidwell to leave Boy Charles.
32:19And we are working towards making that happen.
32:22Yeah, I suppose you're right.
32:25But the thing is, she's right.
32:27She's absolutely right.
32:28We can't keep placating him indefinitely.
32:32We've got to go on the offensive.
32:34We do. We need to find out what does he really care about, you know?
32:38And then push him somehow.
32:41Push him and get him to make a mistake.
32:45I'm going to do you a favor.
32:49And I'm going to forget that you mentioned Valentin.
32:52Because I don't think you want people wondering if you and Congresswoman Cain are harboring and conspiring with the fugitive.
33:00You know how fast people go from wondering to believing.
33:02Oh, gee, Carly, that's so kind of you.
33:06And I think we both should probably stay out of the WSB's business.
33:10I've met Director Cullum.
33:12And frankly, the guy gives me the creeds.
33:15There's a coldness and a ruthlessness to him.
33:18It's frightening.
33:19I'm going to steer clear.
33:21You should do the same.
33:24And I hope, unlike Drew, that Jack makes a speedy recovery.
33:29For all concerned.
33:34I would be happy to make this jurisdictional fight public.
33:38We can shine a light on the WSB's extrajudicial operations.
33:43I'll consult with the WSB attorneys and get back to you.
33:47You do that.
33:49I have to say I'm surprised that you'd court public scrutiny while continuing to associate yourself with criminals.
34:08Where are you going?
34:10Well, I gotta say the way you handled Cullum was just a thing of beauty.
34:16And I wish I could show you how much I enjoyed watching you put that bastard in his place.
34:24Well, fortunately for us, there is some place we can meet that's, um, not so public.
34:32Alright.
34:33Just, uh, send me a text when you're free.
34:46I get what you're saying, Dad.
34:48But, not coming forward is also a crime.
34:51If the truth ever comes out and they find out you covered for me, you could be in big trouble.
34:55If it's not gonna come out, I'll make sure of that.
34:58But the evidence, all of it is there.
34:59I said, I said I'm gonna handle it.
35:02Okay.
35:08You should take that.
35:10Yeah.
35:15Yeah.
35:17Commissioner Falconeri, is this a bad time?
35:19Uh, it is actually. I'm just in the, in the middle of something. Can I call you back?
35:23I'm sorry, but it's important.
35:25Cullum is looking for the evidence from his shooting.
35:28I stonewalled him, but he's not gonna give up.
35:31You need to make sure the WSB does not get their hands on it.
35:35I lost you, but I've said it.
35:36I was so glad to be w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w.
35:38But, I mean, I think we'd make sure that we can answer for the evidence.
35:39The evidence is, but I will do it and make sure that we can go or do it!
35:39The evidence is, but I can do it.
