London has been ranked top globally for culture in a new survey by Time Out. The capital was praised for its theatres, museums, galleries and live events.

00:16survey of more than 24,000 city residents worldwide, alongside a panel of Time Out experts and editors.
00:23Deputy Mayor for Culture Justine Simons said London is a global culture capital.
00:29She added, culture is in London's DNA and worth £64 billion to the economy each year.
00:35Further down the list, Paris was ranked in second place and New York third,
00:39with Berlin, Cape Town and Melbourne also making an appearance.
