00:04Up next on American Restoration.
00:06It's 30 feet tall.
00:08My God.
00:08Came down to get my rocket slide fixed.
00:11Look at the size of this thing.
00:12Why is it apart?
00:13Well, I thought I could do it myself.
00:15I don't even know where to start.
00:17Somebody call Mr. Wizard.
00:18Oh, wow.
00:19That thing's cool.
00:20I don't want you just to restore this pump.
00:22We want you to turn this into a coin counter as well.
00:24Wow.
00:24You want me to cut it?
00:25Split it all apart.
00:26Correct.
00:27I got to nearly triple the size of this thing.
00:30It's going to be impossible.
00:31Yeah, man, you're killing me, dude.
00:32No, you can't just nail me like that.
00:35That's wrong.
00:35This rocket slide has been a huge pain in the ass.
00:39When it rains, it pours.
00:40There's no way you're going to be able to get in the hole
00:42before it wants to kill one of us.
00:44Shut up and listen.
00:45Pull, pull, boys.
00:46Don't get too close, Dave.
00:48What?
00:51Remember back in the day when things were made by hand
00:54and people took pride in their work?
00:57My name's Rick Dale, and I bring these things back to life.
01:02Every restoration has its own set of challenges.
01:06There's no owner's manual for what we do,
01:08but there's no job we can't handle.
01:12Oh, my God.
01:23Hey, babe.
01:24What's up?
01:25I think the rocket slide guy is here,
01:27and he brought it in a moving truck.
01:29Oh, my God.
01:30Look at that mess.
01:32Thanks, Kelly.
01:33We recently got a call from a guy
01:34that wants us to look at some sort of slide
01:36that he wants to get restored.
01:38Judging by the looks of this guy's truck,
01:39this thing is a lot bigger than I was expecting.
01:44Holy .
01:45Hey, Rick.
01:46Nels.
01:47Nels, good to meet you.
01:48You know, I heard this thing was coming.
01:50I had no idea it was this big.
01:52It's 30 feet tall.
01:53Wow.
01:5430 feet tall?
01:56And it's all what, in pieces?
01:57Oh, yeah.
01:58There's a lot of pieces.
02:00Cowboy, Tyler, Bradley, get over here.
02:02I need some hands.
02:02I came down to Rick's restoration today
02:04to get my Apollo-era 1969 rocket slide fixed.
02:09The thing is huge,
02:11and there's a lot of different types of pieces.
02:13One, two, three.
02:16Get on, Tyler.
02:17Get underneath.
02:18Nice and easy, boys.
02:21Oh, my gosh.
02:23This thing is the biggest thing that's ever came in the shop.
02:25Look at the size of this thing.
02:26When this guy called me and told me he was dropping off a slide,
02:29I figured no problem.
02:30But I didn't expect something
02:32that was potentially three stories tall.
02:35Not to mention that it's in nearly 50 different pieces,
02:38and I have no idea what it's supposed to look like.
02:42One of my first questions is, why is it apart?
02:45Well, I thought I could do it myself,
02:47so I thought it's going to have to come apart
02:48if it's going to be done right.
02:50Gotcha.
02:51Yeah, well, you got the process down, that's for sure.
02:53But we usually take pictures of this stuff
02:56as we tear it apart, and that's our manual.
02:57When stuff comes in in a million pieces,
02:59it's like we got no manual at all.
03:01Well, I got a nice original brochure from the company.
03:04Whoa.
03:04This is all you got to work on.
03:05This is what, 60s?
03:07Yeah, Apollo era, 1960s.
03:09In the 60s, the space race
03:11was a huge part of American culture.
03:13Rides like this were popular
03:14because all the kids loved to pretend
03:16that they were astronauts,
03:18either landing on the moon or taking a ride to Mars.
03:21What pieces are missing?
03:22Because it's very hard to tell right now.
03:24We got support poles here.
03:26We're going to need 42 of those.
03:28I brought one of them as a sample.
03:30I thought it would be easier
03:31if you just remanufactured them.
03:32They're in pretty bad shape.
03:34You left them at home?
03:35Yep.
03:36These, yeah, man, you're killing me, dude.
03:38Somebody call Mr. Wizard.
03:40That's a lot of work.
03:41Well, I can see a huge challenge for me here, big time.
03:45I mean, you can tell somebody took it apart with a torch,
03:46so they've blown holes out,
03:48so there's a lot of repair,
03:50the making of some molds,
03:53you know, the...
03:55You all right?
03:56Just take a deep breath.
03:59I really, I'm like at a loss.
04:02I don't even know where to start.
04:04When people come in,
04:05I need to be able to give them
04:06some kind of a close quote.
04:08This thing, I mean, quite honestly,
04:10it's got me baffled.
04:11I'm overwhelmed.
04:11I have no clue.
04:13So can you give me any kind of price on this?
04:15Well, um, I think I ride around $15,000.
04:24$15,000 is really pushing the top of my budget,
04:27but I want it done right,
04:29and I think we're just going to have to go forward.
04:32It's the moon or bust.
04:33Yeah, moon or bust.
04:35I like that.
04:36All right, bud.
04:36Take care.
04:37It's such a big project.
04:39I think Rick is a little bit taken aback.
04:41It worries me a little bit that at this point,
04:44and I don't think he knows exactly
04:45how he's going to get it done.
04:47But I'm hoping when I come back
04:48that this will be all ready
04:49and it's going to blast off to the moon
04:51and not blow up on the launch pad.
04:53What did I just get myself into?
05:04Let's do this.
05:05This thing's enormous, man.
05:07I know, it's giant.
05:08First thing we've got to do
05:09is tear the rest of this thing apart immediately.
05:12That way we can inventory all the parts
05:14and come up with a game plan
05:15on how we're going to get this thing put back together.
05:18The more efficient we can be,
05:20the more likely we're going to finish on time
05:21and stay within budget.
05:24Ew!
05:31A half-way thing my dad has lost his mind
05:33taking on a project this big,
05:34but he's the boss,
05:36so we all just got to bust ass
05:37and hopefully pull this off.
05:38Get it off of there and let's go.
05:42Yeah!
05:44Hallelujah!
05:55This rocket slide is definitely keeping us busy
05:58and now I'm meeting up with another customer
06:00and I just hope that this project
06:03isn't very complicated.
06:05How you doing?
06:06Good.
06:06Jeremy O'Brien.
06:07Good to meet you.
06:08That is a really, really nice bike.
06:11But I don't think you're really wanting
06:12that restored right now, are you?
06:13No, it's brand new.
06:14Didn't you get a package?
06:15Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:16It's over here.
06:17Customers send me projects all the time
06:18and normally I like to take a look at it
06:21before they get there,
06:21but I haven't had one free moment
06:24to look at this thing.
06:25Check it out.
06:27Oh, wow.
06:28That thing's cool.
06:29Watch out, Wayne 60.
06:30Wow.
06:31This is probably what?
06:331935, 37?
06:35Somewhere in that range.
06:36Yeah.
06:37These are cool.
06:38Wayne was a big deal
06:38because at that time,
06:39gas pumps had clock faces.
06:41All they really showed you
06:42was how many gallons you got.
06:44Wayne came up with the first computing pump.
06:47A computing pump is basically what this is.
06:49And what this does,
06:50when you go up and you get your gas,
06:51now it's going to give you everything.
06:53How many gallons and the total sale?
06:55Okay.
06:55We restore a lot of gas pumps,
06:57so this project is perfect for my guys
06:59to handle on their own
07:00so that I can focus on that rocket slide.
07:03So you want this thing all original on the outside?
07:06It's still aesthetically original.
07:09What do you mean?
07:09I don't want you just to restore this pump.
07:11I want you to turn this into a coin counter as well.
07:14Coin counter?
07:15Coin counter.
07:16What's a coin counter?
07:17Well, I work for a bank
07:18and we'd put it in our lobby
07:20and we'd be able to have our customers
07:21come in and deposit their coins in it.
07:23Holy crap.
07:25Well, how big is it?
07:26The coin counter.
07:27Is it wider than the pump?
07:29A little bit.
07:30Is it deeper than the pump?
07:32A little bit.
07:34So what you're saying is,
07:35you want me to cut it,
07:37slice it down the side,
07:38split it all apart,
07:39slice it down the front,
07:41and open it up
07:41enough, big enough
07:42to put this thing in?
07:43Correct.
07:45Wow.
07:47All right, so
07:48for the total restoration,
07:50I'm looking between
07:51$5,800
07:52to about $6,300.
07:56That much, huh?
07:57Yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:59It's quite a bit of work.
08:00It's not just a regular restoration,
08:02for sure.
08:02It's not.
08:03But I guarantee you
08:04that you're going to love it.
08:06I guarantee that.
08:11We can make that work.
08:13Okay, cool.
08:13Let's go in the office
08:14and take care of some paperwork.
08:16No matter how busy we may be,
08:18the last thing that I'm going to do
08:20is turn away this job.
08:21The only problem is,
08:22I just don't know
08:23how I'm going to pull off
08:24two major projects
08:26at the same exact time.
08:34Now that we've got
08:35the coin counting pump
08:36to worry about,
08:37I'm really going to need
08:38the total help
08:39of all my crew,
08:40especially from
08:41my new foreman, Tyler.
08:42So it's going to be up to him
08:44to follow this rocket slide
08:45down the line
08:46so that we can stay on schedule.
08:49Hey, Nate.
08:49How's it going?
08:50What's going on, Tyler?
08:51Our sandblast room
08:52can't fit something this big,
08:53and if we sandblast outside,
08:55a dust cloud would go everywhere.
08:56So we brought someone in
08:57to try a different method
08:58called ice blasting.
08:59What do you use?
09:01Holy...
09:02We use dry ice.
09:03Blasting rice is what they call it.
09:05Or a rice pellet.
09:07It'll burn you
09:07if you hold on to it
09:08a little bit too long,
09:09so we're using gloves
09:10and the safety equipment
09:11we need.
09:11Nice.
09:12About the hardness
09:13of a fingernail
09:14on the diamond scale.
09:15Wow.
09:16So it's tough enough
09:17to get it done
09:17when we push as much air
09:19as we do,
09:19but it's soft enough
09:21not to damage anything.
09:22Man, that's just badass.
09:27The best part about this is
09:28the dry ice totally evaporates,
09:30so all we have to do
09:31is sweep up the paint chips
09:32when we're done.
09:32No muss, no fuss.
09:43Tyler, bring the toolbox.
09:45We got a ton of work
09:46going on on this rocket slide
09:48that a customer dropped off earlier,
09:49but that's not the only thing
09:51we got going on here.
09:52Another customer dropped off
09:53this old gas pump
09:55that he wants converted
09:56into a coin counter.
09:57These are both
09:58very challenging projects,
10:00and it really doesn't help
10:01for them both to come in
10:02at the same time.
10:03I mean, you know,
10:05when it rains,
10:05it just pours.
10:07What is this?
10:08That's a...
10:08This is a coin counter,
10:09and we got to make
10:11a bunch of marks on it
10:11because this has to go
10:13inside here.
10:14That's right.
10:15And it's too...
10:16It's too narrow.
10:18It's too everything.
10:18It's too narrow,
10:19so we got to cut it up, okay?
10:21Because the coin counter
10:22is longer and wider
10:23than the original pump.
10:24We're going to make
10:25some marks on it
10:25before we even tear it down.
10:27So when it gets back
10:28from sandblasting,
10:29the marks will still be there,
10:30and we can figure out
10:31exactly where the coin
10:32counter's got to go.
10:33All right, watch
10:34very carefully, son.
10:35Okay, I'm ready.
10:41Okay, were you paying
10:42attention?
10:42Yeah.
10:43Good, your turn.
10:44Good, because that line
10:44was crooked.
10:45What are you talking about?
10:46Let's see how you do.
10:52That's much straighter.
10:53It's good.
10:54It's much straighter than mine?
10:55Where's the black?
10:56Exactly.
10:56I'll give it to you.
10:57It's a mark.
10:58That's all we really need.
10:59Exactly.
10:59Because once we get it done
11:00blasting, those marks
11:01are still going to be there,
11:01and then we're going
11:02to start cutting up.
11:03I got stuff to do.
11:05Go ahead and finish this out.
11:06Thanks, Dad.
11:08So nice.
11:19Earlier, a customer
11:20brought in a 30-foot rocket
11:21slide that was missing
11:22a bunch of pieces.
11:24We're going to need
11:2442 support poles here.
11:27These, yeah, man,
11:27you're killing me, dude.
11:30In addition to all the body
11:32work that we got on this,
11:33I also have my guys
11:34making over 40 new poles
11:36that are going to
11:37structurally hold
11:38this whole thing together.
11:42Meanwhile, now that
11:43all the parts to the gas pump
11:44have been sandblasted,
11:46Phil is using the marks
11:47that Tyler and I made earlier
11:48to split this thing apart.
11:50Because the pump is too small
11:51to fit the coin counter in,
11:52we only have one choice,
11:54and that's to make
11:55the pump bigger.
11:56So Dave and I are going
11:57to get started on the base
11:58and the frame
11:59that support the whole thing.
12:00All right.
12:01All right.
12:02Ready?
12:02Let's try it out.
12:04Wow.
12:05That is making it huge.
12:06I mean, that thing was
12:07originally like this by this.
12:08The biggest challenge
12:09we're going to have
12:09is changing the structural
12:11integrity of it.
12:12So we need to make something
12:13that's going to support
12:14the half a ton
12:15this thing's going to weigh.
12:17Here we go.
12:2437 inches,
12:24what we're looking for.
12:26Okay.
12:26Look at 39.
12:28This is definitely not square.
12:30Oh, yeah.
12:32And we already started
12:33welding the thing.
12:34Nothing's frigging easy
12:35this week.
12:36That's going to be a deal.
12:38Um, what's this?
12:3925 and 5 eighths.
12:42Everything starts
12:42with a foundation.
12:44If our measurements
12:44are even a millimeter off,
12:47the whole thing
12:47could topple over
12:48when we're finished.
12:49If we don't come up
12:50with a solution fast,
12:51we're going to have to start
12:52all over on this project,
12:53and we just don't
12:54have time for that.
12:56Oh, boy.
13:05While I have my hands
13:06full with this gas pump,
13:08there's still a ton
13:09of work to be done
13:10with this rocket slide.
13:11This thing is turning
13:12into a nightmare.
13:13I don't want to hit it
13:14too hard,
13:14but these are pretty hammered.
13:16Yeah, they are.
13:17This slide looks like
13:18it got shot down
13:19by the Death Star.
13:20It's so beat up.
13:22This metal's also real thin,
13:23so we have to take our time
13:25and get all the dents,
13:26bumps, and dings out
13:27one at a time.
13:30All right, let's grab some clamps
13:31and start tying these sides down.
13:33All right.
13:34Dave and I are still
13:36trying to figure out
13:37how to get the base
13:37of this gas pump
13:38perfectly square
13:39like it needs to be.
13:41You're about a 16th under.
13:44That's a 16th of an inch.
13:46Yeah, that's good right there.
13:47Good?
13:48In order to compensate
13:49for our measurements being off,
13:51we're tying the whole thing down
13:52and then slightly adjusting each side
13:55and then hoping for the best.
13:57Okay.
13:58Okay, you got 45 and a quarter.
14:04Oh, you're right on.
14:0545 and a quarter.
14:07Get this bad boy tacked up.
14:09This project has got us
14:10so far behind,
14:11but now that we got
14:12the measurements on it,
14:14it feels like we can start
14:14making progress on this thing.
14:16I just hope nothing else
14:17holds us up.
14:18It's like welding
14:19the Grand Canyon together.
14:31Hell yeah.
14:34I got so many big projects
14:37going on right now,
14:38I'm going to have to get some help
14:39with this rocket slide.
14:41This fiberglass guy across town,
14:42he just may be the guy
14:44that saves my ass
14:45and make these deadlines.
14:47Hey, JR.
14:48What's going on?
14:49How you been?
14:49All right.
14:50I really do not like
14:51farming stuff out,
14:52but sometimes in my business,
14:54it's smarter to outsource
14:55unique stuff like this
14:56rather than buy
14:57all the equipment
14:58and employ a full-time guy
15:00like JR.
15:01I do all sorts of fiberglass repair,
15:02design, creation,
15:04anything in fiberglass.
15:05Okay, on the slide,
15:07what are you going to have
15:07to do to this piece?
15:08Well, I see some issues
15:09down here where it's cracked.
15:10Okay.
15:11And it looks thin.
15:12This is that thin.
15:14Okay.
15:15So on the backside,
15:17I would add some more fiberglass,
15:18make the whole thing
15:19a little more rigid.
15:20Okay.
15:20And then on the front side,
15:21after we grind out
15:22and fix all these stress cracks,
15:24repair those.
15:25All right.
15:26Then after you glass it,
15:26you reshape it back smooth again
15:28with the rest of it
15:28and then shoot the gel coat.
15:29Gotcha.
15:30So you're going to a clean surface
15:31and then starting over.
15:33Yeah.
15:33Gotcha.
15:34All right.
15:35So this is the fiberglass
15:36that everybody thinks of.
15:37People associate that fiberglass
15:39and plastic are the same
15:40kind of elements.
15:41They're not.
15:41A sheet of fiberglass
15:42is probably 10 times the cost.
15:44Each one of them fibers,
15:45there's 90 filaments.
15:46You can break that apart.
15:47There's 90 hairs in there.
15:48Wow.
15:49That's glass, basically.
15:50That is glass.
15:51So this is beet sand
15:52that's pulverized under high heat,
15:53melted down.
15:54Man.
15:54People underestimate
15:55the amount of work
15:56that is required.
15:57It's not cheap.
15:58The material's expensive
15:59and the things that you have to do
16:00to work with it.
16:01Everything's harder to do.
16:02And as far as price?
16:03I mean, I don't know
16:04if you can right now,
16:05but can you give me
16:07like a ballpark?
16:09Or no?
16:10I'd like to think about it some more.
16:12You're going to need to look at it.
16:13I need to look at it, yeah.
16:14All right.
16:14I'll give you a number.
16:15All right.
16:15If I'm going to have to trust this guy
16:16to stay within my budget,
16:18he's really going to have to try
16:19to get this thing done fast
16:21so that we can still finish
16:22this project
16:23when the customer is expecting it.
16:34All right.
16:34How's it going?
16:35Good.
16:36I'm needing to see this thing lit up.
16:37I'm needing to see it working.
16:39Now that we're back on track
16:40with the rocket slide,
16:41we still have to finish up
16:43with this coin counting pump.
16:44Everything's pretty much together,
16:46but we don't even know
16:47if this thing works.
16:48Bones, are you ready to play it?
16:49Yes.
16:50I'm hoping that we did this right.
16:51It looks pretty good,
16:52but I'm worried about those,
16:54you know,
16:54the numbers lighting up.
16:56Are you ready, Rick?
16:57I am ready.
16:58After all the time and effort
16:59that we've put into this pump,
17:01if this thing doesn't turn on,
17:02I don't know what we're going to do.
17:07Nice!
17:08We got it.
17:09We got a few more
17:10final things to do on it,
17:11some touch-up things,
17:12and this thing's done.
17:13So we go ahead
17:13and finish those pieces,
17:14and we'll get this thing
17:15to the customer.
17:15All right?
17:16Awesome.
17:16Cool, cool, cool.
17:17It looks awesome.
17:18Okay, Fonzie.
17:20It's a wrap.
17:34Hey!
17:35How you doing, Rick?
17:35What have you been doing?
17:37Well, you know,
17:37a little banking here and there.
17:39Hey, Dave!
17:40Came down to Rick's restoration today
17:41to pick up my gas pump
17:42that I had Rick convert
17:43into a coin counter for my bank.
17:45You sort of noticed
17:46it's a little bigger, right?
17:47Yeah.
17:47I'll tell you right now,
17:48this was hard.
17:49It was like building a hot rod
17:51and slicing it into six sections
17:53and having it all come out
17:55and work at one time.
17:56It's just, it was,
17:56I can't even tell you.
17:58So, you ready?
17:59I'm ready.
17:59Let's see it.
18:00Because this thing took
18:01a lot, a lot, a lot,
18:02a lot of time.
18:03I'm ready.
18:04Okay, here we go, Dave.
18:05One, two, three.
18:08Wow.
18:10That's amazing.
18:11Look at those colors.
18:13That's awesome.
18:14Wow.
18:15Yeah, it came out nice.
18:16I'm proud of it.
18:17You proud of it?
18:17I'm happy it's done.
18:18Yeah, me too.
18:19That's a fact.
18:20You don't even know
18:21what the weak spin,
18:21like this was hard.
18:23I can't even tell you.
18:23Everything on this thing
18:25has been hand-fabricated,
18:27everything on it.
18:28We knew we had to get
18:28that coin pump inside
18:29the machine itself.
18:31Basically, what I did
18:31is cut it in quarters
18:32and stretch it out
18:33all four ways.
18:34These are brand new doors
18:35made from scratch.
18:36These side pieces,
18:37we split them in half
18:38and we added 10 inches
18:39into them.
18:40Okay.
18:40And we cut up the computer
18:41in here to get your
18:42LCD screen in there.
18:43That's fantastic.
18:44Yeah, it looks good now,
18:45but what a nightmare
18:46it was to do that.
18:47Awesome.
18:48Well, it looks great.
18:49Does it work?
18:50Yeah, let's give it a shot.
18:53All right,
18:53so up here is going to read.
18:55Okay.
18:57So you come up,
18:58dump your money in there.
19:02Hey, it's working.
19:03Yeah.
19:03I bought that.
19:04Pretty good, huh?
19:05All right.
19:05It's more than I expected.
19:06You did a fantastic job.
19:08You guys are great.
19:09All right, okay.
19:10Good.
19:11Thanks, sir.
19:12Well, let's go in the office,
19:13take care of the paperwork.
19:14Dave.
19:15I'm getting my money back.
19:17Okay, all right.
19:32Earlier, we got in
19:33a really cool rocket slide
19:34that we're trying to fix up.
19:36This thing is getting
19:37so far behind schedule.
19:39At this point,
19:40I don't think we're going
19:41to pull this thing off at all.
19:46Hello, this is Nels.
19:48Hey, Nels, it's Rick Dale.
19:49How are you?
19:50How are you?
19:51Yeah, how are you doing?
19:52Pretty good.
19:52You know, I told you
19:54that I was going to have
19:54this rocket slide done
19:55by the end of the day.
19:58Yeah.
19:58It doesn't look like
20:00that's going to happen.
20:03Okay.
20:04Yeah, we still got a ways
20:06to go on this thing.
20:07All right.
20:08If you could just give me
20:09a few more days,
20:10I think, in fact,
20:12I know we can get
20:13this thing totally put together.
20:18That should be okay.
20:20Hey, thank you very, very much
20:22for being understanding, Nels.
20:23All right.
20:24Thanks for getting in touch.
20:25I'll make this happen, okay?
20:27Okay.
20:27All right.
20:28Bye.
20:28Bye now.
20:33Careful with it.
20:34My entire business
20:35relies on my reputation.
20:37So if I fail to meet a deadline,
20:39it's really going to hurt.
20:40And we still have
20:41some major hurdles
20:42to deal with
20:43on this rocket slide.
20:44So we're definitely
20:45not out of the woods yet.
20:47All right.
20:47First of all,
20:48this has to go in the hole.
20:50So we need something
20:5140, 50, 60 foot long,
20:53which I don't know
20:53what we're going to use.
20:54In order to start
20:55building on this slide,
20:56I need to get this
20:57very, very large pole
20:58in the ground.
20:59That's the first piece
21:00that I need to start with.
21:01So it has to go
21:02in the ground today.
21:03I don't know.
21:04What do you guys think
21:04about sticking that in there?
21:05Just lift it up
21:06with a forklift.
21:07If you lift up up there,
21:08this bottom's automatically
21:09going to want to come down.
21:10And then you just go like this.
21:11What's going to hold this end?
21:12And as we're lifting,
21:14what's going to do this?
21:16I see what you're saying,
21:17but we still have to get it up
21:18high enough to get it in here.
21:19Tether it up.
21:19I think all six of us
21:20are just going to lift it up.
21:21There's no way.
21:22It's like 700 pounds.
21:24That's definitely
21:25not going to work.
21:26Huh.
21:27Well, I'm almost out of ideas.
21:29I've been really worried
21:31about making this rocket slide happen
21:32since the first day
21:34I came into the shop.
21:35In hindsight,
21:35I should have said no
21:36to the whole project,
21:37but now there's no turning back.
21:40And I'm a man of my work.
21:43We're full of ideas.
21:44Not good ones.
21:45We've got to figure out
21:46how we're going to get
21:47this 700 pound,
21:4930 foot pole
21:50in the ground
21:51without breaking it
21:52or killing anybody.
21:53What happens
21:54if you cut the pole?
21:55Cut what pole?
21:56Just down to here.
21:58No, we don't want to do that.
21:59What happens, yeah,
22:00what happens if you
22:01notched here?
22:02Yes, I like that out of here.
22:03Yes, yes.
22:04And then it would have
22:05anchor.
22:05Sit in there.
22:05It has no place to go.
22:07It should just go straight up
22:08and fall in the notch.
22:09This is going to be sketchy.
22:10This is going to be sketchy.
22:13Ron came up with the only idea
22:14that's going to make
22:15this deal work.
22:16We've already sank
22:17an eight foot pipe
22:18into the ground
22:18and that should hold the pole.
22:21Now we've got to cut
22:21a notch into the pipe
22:23so that it has somewhere
22:24to sit when we lift
22:25the pole up in the air
22:26and slide it in.
22:28Hopefully this will keep it
22:29from sliding out of the pipe
22:30and guide it down
22:31into the hole.
22:33That better?
22:34That's it.
22:37I have a budget to deal with
22:39and unfortunately the budget
22:40wasn't there for a crane.
22:42So we had to do
22:42what we have to do.
22:43I'm hoping that the notch
22:45in the base is enough
22:47to hold this thing up
22:48as we're lifting it
22:49so that it doesn't
22:50come crashing down.
22:51He's got to go forward
22:52and lift, forward and lift.
22:55Whoa, Dave, you're moving.
22:56Damn it.
22:57I got a highway to one side,
22:58a business to the other,
22:59and a whole crew surrounding it.
23:02If this thing falls,
23:03I'm going to be in deep
23:05there's no way
23:06you're going to be able
23:06to pull that that way
23:07fast enough to get in the hole
23:09before it wants to kill
23:10one of us.
23:11Shut up and listen
23:12to one guy,
23:14Tyler and Ron.
23:15All you're going to do
23:16is guide it this way
23:17and this way.
23:18Nice and easy.
23:19One, two, three.
23:20Pull, pull, pull, boys!
23:23Pull, pull!
23:26Pull!
23:28Pull!
23:29Don't get too close, Dave!
23:31I'm up against it right now.
23:33We got to pull!
23:35Pull!
23:36Don't give up!
23:39Hey, everybody, hey!
23:42Easy!
23:43Pull in!
23:44Pull!
23:47Yes!
23:48Yes!
23:49Oh, that was scary.
23:50Who hurts beating
23:51as hard as mine?
23:52All right, there.
23:52For sure.
23:54I'm going to go
23:5510, I can't.
24:03Things are finally coming together
24:05on this rocket slide.
24:06We got some of the
24:07galvanized parts back,
24:08so we're going to start
24:09fitting this behemoth
24:10back together,
24:11one level at a time.
24:13Ready for the scenario
24:13where they have it?
24:14Well, I'm looking through
24:14the stuff that the customer
24:16sent me.
24:16Okay.
24:17Then it says
24:17attach the bottom
24:18platform wedges.
24:19Got to be those.
24:20Right.
24:21So I think we'll start
24:22here.
24:23Yep.
24:23Okay?
24:24We'll go all the way around.
24:26All right, you got holes.
24:26Right there.
24:27Okay.
24:29Come on, Dave!
24:29Let's dig it in!
24:32Put some hair around it.
24:35Get that bottom on.
24:38All right, let's just go ahead
24:40and get all these tightened up
24:41and those other threes in there.
24:42Okay.
24:43Okay?
24:43And then when you get ready
24:44to get on top,
24:45the steps all the way up
24:46the little stairway to heaven there.
24:48Stairway to heaven.
24:48Call me back.
24:49You got it?
24:50All right, guys.
24:50All right.
24:52This is not fun.
24:53No, it's not.
24:53God dang it.
25:04How are you?
25:05I'm Rick.
25:05Hi, Rick.
25:06I'm Tom.
25:07Tom, good to meet you.
25:08Nice to meet you.
25:08What's going on?
25:09I have something to restore.
25:10Let's see what you got.
25:11I can't wait.
25:12There's so many problems
25:13that keep popping up
25:14on this rocket slide
25:15that are taking up
25:16all my time,
25:17but I can't afford
25:18to turn away any new projects
25:20if I want my business
25:21to keep growing.
25:23Oh, man.
25:24That is cool.
25:26I came to Rick's restoration today
25:27to get my Buddy Elb
25:29Road Rower restored.
25:30Oh, God dang.
25:32That is awesome.
25:34I guess it's a rare old toy
25:35that was only made
25:37between the late 20s
25:38and early 30s.
25:39Where'd you get that?
25:40It's been in a family
25:41since the 30s.
25:42Wow.
25:43When I was a young boy,
25:44my father got it
25:45out of the garage
25:46and let me play with it.
25:47Man, that's a steamroller.
25:48Yes, it is.
25:49It is Buddy Elb, right?
25:50Buddy Elb, yep.
25:51They made parts
25:51for tractors and equipment
25:53and stuff like that.
25:54And then in 1921,
25:56they started making toys
25:57and stuff for kids.
25:58Okay.
25:58And there was a son.
26:00His nickname was Buddy.
26:01So they called it Buddy Elb.
26:03And that's how these toys
26:04came about as far as
26:05the name on these toys.
26:06That's an incredible piece.
26:07So does this have
26:08like some meaning to you?
26:09My father passed away
26:10last October.
26:11Right.
26:11And I'm trying to restore
26:13some of this old stuff.
26:14So I saw this in the basement.
26:16I go, boy,
26:16I'd really like to restore that
26:18and preserve it
26:19and pass it down
26:20to future generations.
26:21Right.
26:21Right.
26:22That's awesome.
26:23There's a lot of parts
26:24on the thing.
26:25I mean,
26:25all the little itty-bitty details
26:27that they did on this,
26:29it was all working
26:30so that you would see
26:31how it turned.
26:32You would see
26:32how you lit it up.
26:33You would see
26:34the motor moving.
26:35It probably was built
26:36just like the original one.
26:37Yes, it is.
26:38That's so cool.
26:40So in order to get
26:41the restoration done
26:42on this exactly
26:43like it was,
26:44like out of the box,
26:45we'll have to take it apart,
26:46figure out some of the parts
26:47that were broken.
26:48Then we'll strip it all out,
26:50you know,
26:50meaning take all this
26:50old paint off
26:51and everything,
26:52smooth it out,
26:52go ahead and put a paint job
26:53on it,
26:54do the nickel plating
26:55on the motor.
26:56As far as getting that
26:57all done,
26:58I'm looking around
27:00$2,200.
27:03Okay.
27:04Why so much?
27:05Well,
27:06I mean,
27:06we're probably going to have
27:0720 hours total
27:08in the whole piece.
27:09When it's small like that,
27:10it's almost just as hard
27:12as a big piece.
27:13And it's very important to me
27:15to get it exactly right.
27:17I want it done right
27:18and I want it done
27:19so it looks brand new.
27:21It will.
27:21It'll look brand new,
27:22I promise you.
27:23I promise you.
27:24So you good with that?
27:26Yes, I am.
27:27Okay.
27:28Thank you very much.
27:29That is an awesome piece.
27:31When Rick first said
27:32$2,200,
27:33I'm like,
27:33nope.
27:34But if that's what it takes
27:36to get it back
27:36restored to original,
27:37hopefully it'll be worth it.
27:45Hey, JR,
27:46how are you doing?
27:47Hi, Rick.
27:48I needed to know a price
27:49quite a while back.
27:50What's the price you got now?
27:51It's going to be
27:51about $12,000.
27:53No,
27:54we can't do that.
27:55Well,
27:55it is what it is.
27:57You can't just nail me like that.
27:58That's wrong.
27:59That's just wrong.
28:00A little while ago,
28:01we got in a giant rocket slide
28:03and nothing has gone smooth
28:05with this project.
28:06We finally got the pole
28:08on the ground
28:08and now my fiberglass guy
28:10is updating me
28:11with the price
28:12and it don't look good.
28:14Right now,
28:15you need to stop,
28:16all right?
28:16Just stop.
28:17Don't do a goddang thing
28:18and I'll come over,
28:19all right?
28:20Don't do nothing.
28:22All right,
28:23bye.
28:24Jeez,
28:26what happened?
28:27The rocket slide happened.
28:28The fiberglass guy
28:29wants to charge me
28:30three times
28:31what I put aside for it
28:32and there's no frigging way
28:34I can afford that.
28:35It'll eat up
28:35the whole budget.
28:36I've spent a lot of money
28:37and everything's
28:38basically done.
28:39We're just waiting
28:40for the slide.
28:41We're waiting
28:41for the slide.
28:42Well,
28:43I mean,
28:43so what are you
28:43going to do then?
28:44I'd have a very hard time
28:45eating it
28:46and I'd have a very hard time
28:47telling him,
28:48come pick the thing up.
28:49So,
28:51I probably,
28:52I don't know.
28:59What's coming?
29:00Oh,
29:00what's coming?
29:00what's coming out?
29:02There it is.
29:02Oh,
29:04oh,
29:04body work.
29:05My dad just left
29:06to go talk to the fiberglass guy
29:07about the budget
29:08he gave us
29:08on the rocket slide.
29:09I've never seen him
29:10this stressed,
29:11so if we're going to
29:11keep on schedule
29:12with the Buddy L toy
29:13we just got in,
29:14I've got to take charge
29:15of this thing.
29:16First,
29:16Brettley and I
29:17are taking it apart
29:18and this thing
29:18has tons of little parts,
29:20so hopefully,
29:20we're not missing anything.
29:23There it is.
29:30Okay,
29:31stop.
29:31Oh,
29:32no.
29:33What is the other
29:33piece of that gear?
29:34Yeah,
29:35all these pieces.
29:36You've got to be
29:36me.
29:37When we tore
29:38the drivetrain apart,
29:39two of the gears
29:40were totally shattered,
29:41so we're going to have
29:42to make these things
29:42from scratch.
29:43All right,
29:44that kind of sucks.
29:50This rocket slide
29:51has been
29:52one major headache
29:53after another.
29:55We missed our deadline.
29:56I had a hell of a time
29:57getting the support pool
29:58into the ground,
29:59and now,
30:00the fiberglass guy
30:01wants to charge
30:03way more
30:03than what I budgeted.
30:05Situations like these
30:05are always hard
30:06to navigate,
30:07so I'm going to
30:07head over to his place
30:08right now
30:09and see what we can do.
30:11If this thing
30:12falls through,
30:13everybody's going
30:13to end up losing.
30:14Hey, GR.
30:15Hey, Rick.
30:16How you doing?
30:16We need to talk.
30:17Rick,
30:18come out of my shop today
30:18and discuss some issues
30:20with the budget
30:20and get it in
30:21a reasonable price
30:22that we all three
30:22can work with.
30:23You know,
30:24it was like double,
30:25double the price,
30:26so everything else
30:26is finished,
30:27and I was on budget
30:28with everything,
30:28so how's the slide going?
30:30I'm just about done
30:31with the ugly work,
30:33and you remember
30:33how thin it was.
30:34Okay.
30:35Oh, you already
30:36hit the back already?
30:37Yeah,
30:37here was the major crack.
30:38Oh, yeah, yeah.
30:40It's 28 pounds heavier now.
30:42Oh, yeah.
30:43That's, yeah, yeah,
30:44that looks good.
30:45This is probably
30:46the most critical
30:47of the functioning part.
30:49I was surprised, yeah.
30:49Oh, yeah, sure.
30:50I was surprised
30:50how thin it was.
30:51It didn't get a crack in half
30:52like it was gonna before.
30:54The slide's in a lot
30:55better shape now,
30:56so that was money well spent,
30:58but we still got to figure out
30:59how we're going to scale back
31:00a bit so that we can
31:01stay in budget.
31:02That looks awesome.
31:03Yeah.
31:04I like the blue.
31:05That's just sprayed.
31:06That's not polished out
31:06or nothing.
31:07Now the next step
31:07is where all the work begins.
31:09Right, if you wanted to,
31:10if we polish them out.
31:10If you wanted to make that
31:11shiny like a sign of a boat
31:12or something, yeah.
31:13Yeah, no, just like these are,
31:15I mean, this is perfect.
31:16Just leave it the way it is.
31:17It's a lot cheaper.
31:18You're saving
31:18all that polishing labor.
31:20Don't polish it, absolutely.
31:20Shoot the gel coat.
31:21I agree with that.
31:22I totally agree with that
31:23on every single thing here.
31:24That would be done
31:24instead of three more days
31:25worth of work.
31:26There's at least three.
31:27And you got that on everything.
31:28Yes.
31:29Yeah, this is done.
31:30The gel coating right now
31:31has a real good shine to it,
31:33so the polishing
31:34is gonna be unnecessary.
31:35That should save me
31:36several days of labor
31:37and bring the cost down big time.
31:40So now that the budget crisis
31:41is handled, J.R. can finish out
31:43all the fiberglassing
31:45and get this project
31:46back on schedule.
31:47The backside's done.
31:48We'll do the topside repairs.
31:49Okay.
31:49Finish getting that white off.
31:50Shoot it all in white.
31:51All right.
31:52Perfect.
31:52See if we can get back on track.
31:53Perfect.
31:54I hear you.
31:54All right.
31:55Sounds good.
31:55Thanks, J.R.
31:56Come on.
31:56All right.
32:02All right.
32:02We're gonna figure out
32:03how many T's should be there,
32:05draw it up,
32:06and then we're gonna take it
32:06to Waterjet Ted,
32:07and then he's gonna cut us
32:08one out of metal.
32:09Sweet.
32:09When Brett Lee and I
32:11tore this toy apart,
32:12all the gears in his
32:13driving mechanism
32:13were shattered.
32:15Dave and I are sketching out
32:16the exact measurements
32:17the best we can,
32:18but if we're off by just a hair,
32:20they won't work at all.
32:21All right.
32:21So we have half the gear,
32:23so really,
32:23if we just did the number
32:24of teeth times two,
32:25that should be the gear.
32:26You know,
32:26I need a quarter of it, really.
32:28Now we gotta count the teeth, huh?
32:29Just the quarter, right?
32:30So if you quarter it, then...
32:31Yeah, multiply it by four.
32:33Half and half.
32:3313 times four is four times four is 16.
32:38I thought you did good math, dude.
32:39All right, hold on.
32:40So four times four is 16,
32:42six, carry the one.
32:43One times four is four, five, 56.
32:46There should be 56 teeth.
32:48Now start doing some long division.
32:49All right, man, that's it.
32:51Load them up.
32:51Go see this Waterjet Ted guy
32:54and come back on my parts.
32:56I'll bring you back to pieces,
32:57and you can put it back together.
32:58Awesome.
32:59Awesome.
33:07Hey, Ben.
33:07Good.
33:08Good to see you.
33:09A little while back,
33:09I had Waterjet Ted create a steel emblem
33:11for a candy machine we were working on.
33:13The Waterjet worked awesome,
33:15so I'm hoping I can handle
33:16all the little teeth on these gears
33:17just the same.
33:18That way, these spin like clockwork.
33:20Did you get something drawn up?
33:21I did.
33:22The only thing I was gonna ask you about
33:24was the center-to-center on the gears.
33:26What's your concern?
33:27Just, we don't wanna get them too close
33:29because you're limited on the space
33:31that you have here.
33:31On the insert?
33:32Yeah.
33:32You can't get any closer than this.
33:36Okay.
33:36Otherwise, you see where the teeth
33:38are interfering with each other?
33:39Yep.
33:39They're actually touching.
33:40Yep.
33:41And as this one rotates,
33:42it has to have room to come out.
33:44Ah, and if they're too close in,
33:45you'll just be jammed.
33:46Yep.
33:46Right?
33:47If the teeth are too close together,
33:48the mechanism will lock up
33:49and we'll be screwed.
33:51I really don't have any other option,
33:52so we'll adjust it as best we can
33:54and just cross our fingers
33:55when we assemble this thing.
33:56Here we go.
34:00Oh, God.
34:06Oh, snap.
34:10Man, Ted, that's awesome.
34:14There we go.
34:15That is just extremely badass.
34:17The gears look awesome,
34:19but I really hope they work.
34:20Thanks a lot.
34:21You're welcome.
34:22It's been a pleasure.
34:23Yep.
34:23Have fun cleaning up.
34:35Between the Buddy L steamroller toy
34:37and the rocket slide,
34:38we really got our hands full right now.
34:41With this Buddy L project,
34:43Dave is repairing the hardware mounts
34:44that hold the roof in place,
34:46while Brett Lee is sandblasting all the parts.
34:48And Phil is taking care of the body work
34:50so we can get this thing to paint.
35:02That comes in.
35:04Get one,
35:04and then I'll go over there.
35:09See if we can get a wave out of him.
35:11Hey!
35:14Oh, that was good.
35:19Class.
35:20Oh!
35:32I'm trying to be gentle with you.
35:34I don't want to scratch you out.
35:35Kyle is putting all the Buddy L steamroller pieces
35:38back together before the customer arrives.
35:45Does it have all the racks in it?
35:47No.
35:48Somebody's here.
35:49Yeah.
35:51Hey, how are you?
35:52Hi, Rick.
35:53How's it going?
35:54Good.
35:54I'm here for the Buddy L.
35:55Yeah, good to see you.
35:56I see you.
35:57I'm here today to pick up my Buddy L roller
35:59that Rick has restored for me.
36:01This was in the family for many years.
36:03It was in pretty bad shape,
36:04but I did bring it in.
36:05I remember it as a kid riding on it
36:06and breaking it,
36:07so I'm looking forward to see it
36:08restored to a new condition.
36:10This was the family members, right?
36:11It was my dad's.
36:12It was your dad's.
36:13And the family, too.
36:14Okay.
36:14It had a lot of broken parts.
36:15Okay.
36:16When I opened it up,
36:17they're old,
36:17and they're rare,
36:18and they're very hard to find parts.
36:20So you made parts.
36:20Yeah.
36:21Yeah.
36:21Yeah.
36:22We had to make parts.
36:23We had some struggles with this thing.
36:24It's only a little toy.
36:25I know.
36:25I totally agree with you.
36:26We had three guys working on that little toy.
36:28All right.
36:29I'm ready.
36:29All right.
36:30You ready?
36:31Here we go.
36:31One, two, three.
36:35Wow.
36:37Wow.
36:38When I first saw the buddy out,
36:39I was just shocked
36:40how well it was restored.
36:42When I used to play with it,
36:43it was old and pretty beat up.
36:45I had no idea
36:46what it was going to look like
36:47when I got done.
36:48I mean, great job.
36:49I'm very happy.
36:50This looks incredible.
36:52I mean, the colors,
36:53the stickers, the repairs,
36:55and I'm glad you figured out
36:56the right way it was supposed to go.
36:58I mean, it's just incredible.
36:59Do you just bring back memories then?
37:02Oh, yeah.
37:02In the backyard
37:03and on South Main Street
37:04out there in the dirt piles
37:05and playing with that.
37:06Yeah.
37:07I don't think this would be
37:07going in the dirt piles.
37:09No, it's a pretty one.
37:11So exactly tell me what you did.
37:13What we did is we tore apart.
37:15Actually, Tyler and Brettley
37:16tore apart,
37:17and they brought it back to me
37:18with a bunch of pieces.
37:19So the gear itself
37:20was broke or missing?
37:21It broke.
37:22When we hit the hundred pieces.
37:23Oh, okay.
37:24And then we took it
37:25to a guy named Waterjet Ted,
37:26and he did it.
37:28Wait a minute.
37:28Waterjet Ted?
37:29We got Waterjet Ted
37:30and Artist Ted.
37:31Okay, that's how we decipher.
37:32So Waterjetted
37:34all the teeth out for us.
37:36So now we got
37:37aluminum gears on both sides.
37:38Yeah, okay.
37:38So everything works?
37:40Everything works.
37:41Wow.
37:41This turns this way.
37:43Which turns this one?
37:44Which turns this?
37:45Excellent.
37:46Excellent.
37:47It's pretty wild.
37:48You know,
37:48it's a very sophisticated
37:50little toy.
37:51When the wheel's spinning,
37:52this flywheel's spinning.
37:54Okay.
37:54And it's running the pistons.
37:56Unbelievable.
37:56Look at that.
37:57How did you get
37:58to reproduce the decals?
37:59Decals have all been done
38:00by hand.
38:01I'm really amazed.
38:02I mean,
38:02if you look down
38:03at his decals,
38:03he's nailed it.
38:04All the way down
38:05to every single letter
38:06inside that.
38:07That's beautiful.
38:08Nice job.
38:09Yeah.
38:10Thank you very much.
38:11You bet.
38:11You bet.
38:12Tyron, all your hard work.
38:13It's awesome.
38:15I appreciate it.
38:16It was just incredible
38:16what he did.
38:17Incredible.
38:18When I get it home,
38:19everybody in the family
38:20is going to want to play
38:20with it,
38:20and they're not going
38:21to be able to.
38:22And they're willing,
38:22can't play with it
38:30once you guys
38:30quit playing around.
38:31This thing isn't done yet.
38:33This rocket slide
38:34has put everybody
38:35under stress,
38:35and right now,
38:36I can't believe
38:37we're finally
38:38into the home stretch.
38:42Yeah, just park right here.
38:43All right.
38:44I got Tyler up front
38:45holding off Nels
38:46so that he doesn't get
38:47a glimpse of this thing
38:48before we can show it
38:50to him in all its glory.
38:52Hey, Tyler.
38:53How you doing, Nels?
38:53Pretty good.
38:54I hope Rick took good care
38:55of my spacecraft.
38:56Yeah.
38:56I've come down
38:57to Rick's restoration today
38:58to see how he's done
38:59with my Apollo-era
39:00playground rocket slide.
39:02I promise I'm not
39:03going to kidnap you.
39:04All right.
39:05This better be good.
39:06When I first brought
39:07the item to Rick,
39:08it was in pieces,
39:09and I wanted this
39:10to be exactly
39:11as it originally was made.
39:14Now come straight.
39:15I'm a little worried
39:16to see if Rick
39:16can come through on this.
39:18We're going to turn you
39:18around.
39:19Turn you around?
39:20Like this?
39:20So now keep your eyes
39:22closed.
39:22The sheer size of this thing
39:24makes it the biggest
39:25challenge we've ever
39:26taken on,
39:26and the true test
39:27of success
39:28is if this customer
39:29really likes it.
39:30Now on three,
39:32we'll turn you
39:32and open your eyes
39:33at the same time.
39:34Okay, here we go.
39:35You excited?
39:36Yeah.
39:36Let's do it.
39:38One, two, three.
39:40Open your eyes,
39:41turn around.
39:41Go!
39:41Here we go.
39:42Wow.
39:44That is just out
39:45of this world.
39:46This is fantastic.
39:48Look at that.
39:49Absolutely beautiful.
39:51When I first saw
39:51the rocket slide,
39:52I was just taken
39:53aback by the colors.
39:54The candy stripe,
39:55the mirror finish
39:56on the slide,
39:58the cone,
39:59everything.
40:00You just did
40:00a fantastic job.
40:02Here we go.
40:03There he goes.
40:04That's good.
40:05Quick.
40:06Oh, yeah.
40:08Jeez, that's so high.
40:09So how does it feel now?
40:11Wow.
40:12This is fantastic.
40:14Look at that smile.
40:15I love it.
40:16Mission control.
40:17Begin countdown.
40:20I'm coming down
40:21for a landing.
40:22Oh, he's still
40:22going down it.
40:23Here we go.
40:24Here we go.
40:25Whoa.
40:27Like you remember?
40:28That was the first
40:29test ride.
40:30Thanks a lot, Rick.
40:31This is a dream come true.
40:32Good, good.
40:33I'm glad I could
40:34help you make that dream
40:35because believe me,
40:36this was a nightmare for me.
40:37I didn't think
40:38it was going to happen.
40:39How did you do all this?
40:40I brought it to you
40:41in pieces.
40:42Yeah.
40:42I mean, you gave me
40:43enough pieces
40:44to get started with
40:45and we sort of
40:45figured it out.
40:46But my biggest thing
40:47was the fiberglassing.
40:48The mold that you had
40:49had some pits in it.
40:50So he ended up
40:51redoing a new mold
40:52for you and got us
40:53a smooth one.
40:54The slide was very,
40:55very weak.
40:56It was reinforced.
40:57And then the stainless steel,
40:59we went and polished
41:00all that out.
41:01The powder coating,
41:02to me, looks like porcelain.
41:04That galvanizing,
41:05that's going to last
41:05for decades.
41:06Right, right.
41:07It's going to last
41:07a long, long time.
41:08It really looks like chrome.
41:09I mean, looking up there
41:10and it just pops.
41:11Nice and shiny.
41:11It is very shiny.
41:12The funniest part
41:13was putting the pole
41:14in the ground, though.
41:15Oh, right, yeah.
41:16Whoa.
41:16I mean, you figure
41:17this thing's 30-something feet.
41:19Erecting something
41:19this large, you know,
41:21without a rector guide?
41:23Yes, there's no
41:23instruction manual
41:24with this.
41:25Right.
41:25Pull!
41:26Yeah, it's straps
41:27and bullet and forklifts.
41:29Oh, man.
41:29It was crazy.
41:31Well, I'm really pleased.
41:32Good, good.
41:33I mean, you did
41:33a fantastic job.
41:34This thing is going
41:35to last a lifetime,
41:37my lifetime.
41:37Yeah.
41:38Oh, yeah.
41:38Thanks a lot.
41:40This is the first time
41:41I've seen it all
41:42in one piece.
41:43So it was great
41:44to be able to go
41:45up to the top
41:46and then down
41:47and slide
41:48on my very own rocket slide.
41:50That was just amazing.
41:52Back to you.
41:53Oh, that's one, huh?
41:54Whoa!
41:55No, no, no!
41:56Jesus!
41:57Sounds like
41:57not a one decision.
41:59Oh, yeah.
42:01Yo!
42:04Ow, my hand!
42:06Woo!
42:07Sounds like it hurts.
42:08Yeah!

42:12there forever.
