00:27But whether the Chinese will help pressure the Iranians, I think, is an open question.
00:32I'm not sure their influence is as great as some people imagine.
00:37Basically, China's interest has been about oil, cheap oil.
00:42Frankly, China has much more interest in Riyadh and the other GCC nations.
00:47It now trades $300 billion a year with those nations,
00:51whereas its trade with Iran isn't even a tenth of that trade.
00:56So China is not the ally of Iran that people make it out to be.
