Transcript
00:00What can I say? What an absolute pleasure it has been to be your candidate.
00:07I must say it is a hard slog. It is a really difficult thing to do.
00:12Put yourself out there. I've been shot at more times in this job than I ever did in the Army.
00:18And what I can tell you is I have absolutely adored the opportunity to be out there talking to people.
00:25Knocking on doors has been one of my favourite things to do.
00:28Now, this didn't come down in our favour this time in terms of the overall result.
00:34But what the Nationals have done is we've re-entered the fight in Farrah.
00:39This is not over for me.
00:42OK?
00:46I will continue. I'm going to go back into a number of roles supporting my community.
00:52But I have an eye to this election that's coming up in a couple of years' time.
00:56I would also like to congratulate David Farley.
01:00He has successfully achieved the outcome that he wanted.
01:06And what the One Nation Party has been talking about.
01:09I will be holding him accountable.
01:13APPLAUSE
01:14Every day, whatever he does and whatever they do in Farrah, I will call it out.
01:20I do hope they can achieve what they've said they will achieve in this electorate.
01:26Because in two years' time, all of us will vote again.
01:32And you know that the electors or the constituents of Farrah are the bosses.
01:38And they will make the decision whether or not they've achieved what they've set out to achieve.
01:42So, to them, congratulations.
01:45And good luck.
01:47All right.
01:49Thanks very much.
01:50All right.
01:51All right.
01:51You can see you as you.
01:51All right.
