12:45The last straw that sort of broke the camel's back of our relationship was I went to celebrate his birthday
12:53with him.
12:54And it was a surprise, so I coordinated with his grandparents.
12:57I did the five-hour drive out there.
13:01The ice was already thin at that point because I was already months in to me telling her that I
13:07would move, and I still hadn't moved yet.
13:10At first, he seemed happy and everything like that.
13:12Then he sort of just disappeared for a while, which is Ethan.

13:16I went to find him, and he was working on one of his cars, but he was just acting really
13:21weird.
13:22I started shutting down like I was not saying anything.
13:25I just wanted to keep working on my car.
13:29I was just such an idiot.
13:31And I kept asking, you know, what's wrong?

13:36And he didn't really want to talk about it.
13:37He kept shutting me down.
13:38And she started getting really frustrated that I wasn't communicating with her.
13:41And maybe I was asking too many times.
13:43You know, he said nothing was wrong, but his words and actions were not matching.

13:52And she kept pressing me, like, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me.
13:55And as she kept pressing me, I was looking at her, and it was like I was seeing my ex.
14:01She used to do that.
14:03I just finally put my tools down, wiped my hands off, gotten my 76 New Yorker.
14:11He sort of peeled out of there, and he shut his phone off and left me at his grandparents' farm.
14:19I remember looking back.
14:20It's one of the most depressing images that sticks in my mind that haunts me even today.
14:25It's just Tegan, just perfectly beautiful, standing there in the driveway, crying with her hand over her mouth.
14:35You know, I saw in the rearview mirror as I just peeled down the road.
14:40We broke up that day over the phone when he turned his phone back on at some point.
14:47It was just horrible.
14:49And then after that point, it was like everything just kind of ended for me.
14:54And then I came back to Georgia.
14:57He finally came to me with what I could tell was a truth he'd been holding on to for quite
15:01some time,
15:02that he wanted to watch all his minor siblings grow up back down in Georgia.
15:10Mercy, his youngest sibling, was 12, and so that meant he'd want to be down there for the next six
15:16years.
15:17I just said it in passing, but not really considering everything.
15:23Like, would I really want that?
15:25And we didn't really talk for quite a while after that.
15:31I really, really hope this time around I can be who Tegan needs in a relationship.

22:25Um, I woke up really, really hot in the morning, and I realized, I forgot that I turned my heat
22:33on to 80 degrees.

22:38I woke up on the wrong side of the bed with my eyebrows not on anymore, so I have to
22:42redo
22:42that.
22:43Because of my alopecia, these eyebrows have saved my life.
22:49I see a little bit of new growth, just a tiny bit, but it's not enough to get too excited
23:00about, but it's something to get my hopes up.
23:02I'm still in the process of figuring out, you know, exactly what's wrong and what triggers
23:07it, but right now what I'm just really working on is taking care of myself.
23:14You know, just taking vitamins and stuff like that in my diet and trying to eat more and
23:19hopefully put on a little bit of weight.
23:21Just overall, make sure I'm healthy.

23:45I think something that I would tell my younger self is embrace the good and the bad, and all
