01:24and they have been able to get through the series and even the entire playoffs so far
01:30without i would say overtaxing their top guys so i think this is the game where you really just have
01:38to lean on the four of them you know maybe especially dalene you could move him into different
01:44pairings over the course that he's going to play all your special teams already i think that's what
01:50i would be thinking here that doesn't lead me to feeling like i have to play shen because i have
01:56four choices i have four options for that spot but i think my objective would be that you know my
02:03stars
02:04are going to play a lot and they haven't really needed to do that yet uh everybody knows what's at
02:10stake that's it you know and right uh maybe shen gets five shifts after goals or after penalties
02:21where my stars have been on the ice you know killing penalties or on the power play that would be

02:27um doesn't make it the right choice necessarily but yeah that would be my thinking for a reason
02:33that for that reason it it feels i don't want to say it's the wrong choice because maybe whoever

02:49barely played um so you're you're doing that again and you know like the results i guess speak for
02:56themselves you won the game that you did that in before um but it's just a weird choice with guys

07:52well and then uh in montreal i might say that tuck was more sort of conspicuous in his game versus
08:01thompson still either way those are the guys i mean i'm going to need that i think yeah yeah i

08:08kept saying that about the boston series and it didn't end up being true as happens a lot in in

08:13where we're talking about what should what needs to happen you know keys to the game in the series
08:17that first line did get you off to the the great start in game six like tuck scored off that

08:22from dalene thompson like that was the number ones did the job there and it's more of a more of

08:28you worked at than the goal that thompson scored in you know in in the first minute on sunday where
08:33it was just off the back wall and in the net like fair anyone could have scored that goal i

08:38of that goal in boston as a dalene goal because it's such a dalene play but you're right totally right
08:43so um you know there is that but overall no i i'm not i'm not getting what i should be

09:52went defensive anyway and talk same thing like i just don't know where i don't know about hands but
09:57like there's just not you're just not getting what you're used to getting and that one play the
10:04third goal is sort of emblematic of that like are they feeling are they fatigued are they injured and
10:12fatigued are they just because you know how you don't choose always like if you don't you're you're
10:19just sort of not all the way there because of some something that's how you get beat on a play

10:40and defending plays like that aggressively digging in and getting back and doing the work

11:52everyone off and uh just for the games but this year i have watched i watched 77 of the 82
11:59regular season games like it is a point i do not miss the only reason i miss those five is
12:05because i
12:06umpire high school baseball and when the playoff schedules come out i go into my schedule and i'm
12:13going nope can't work this day can't work this day can't work this day and last night i got a
12:17text
12:18that hey can you work tomorrow and my gut reaction was no i cannot it's it's a big game tomorrow
12:26and then
12:26i was thinking i was like i worked five games before let me go see how those turned out so
12:32i went back
12:33in the schedule and we the games that i worked we that i umpired baseball and missed we are five
12:41and
12:41oh and we outscored opponents 24 to six so i was like oh shoot i think i got to do
12:47my part here
12:48for the sabers and so i was just calling to let you know i'm not sure which one of you
12:53said it with
12:54your three hats having three losses but i've got the superstitions covered because i am going to be
13:00behind home plate and missing probably the second half of the game tonight wow well hope it works

14:16to my right with the hockey game on so i can look at you'll see me looking to the right

14:23that's me watching the hockey game with the sound down i'll be able to watch until 7 30 that's a

14:29half of the first period at least and then after nine so i'm not going to miss the beginning or
14:35the end
14:36right but i'm not going to watch the game like i've watched these games
14:43so now you know why is it going to be on a phone but can't you have it on i
14:47don't have a tv down
14:48there oh you don't see i thought you had a tv down there i mean i could have it on
