00:32The front office has done a lot this offseason, a lot of changes in the defense.
00:35What have you seen that they've done and how excited to be back here and see all the changes?
00:40Yeah, it's really exciting.
00:41I remember it was Saturday night when we signed Dexville.
00:44I was standing on my phone and I was talking to my boys and I was like,
00:48holy shit, we just signed Dexville once.
00:51And I think I blacked out that night, honestly.
00:53So that's how I feel about it.
00:55I saw you working out kind of next to him.
00:57What was it like being around him and kind of the conversations you've had with him?

01:02It's fun to see guys who are that great at their job also be great locker room presence

01:08So I think he'll be a great addition to the team.
01:10You guys have all been getting your work at the offseason in different places,
01:13but was it planned for this week to be the week that you guys were all back?
01:17Or was it when Joe showed up and realized, all right, let's go to Cincinnati,

01:24I thought, yeah, it kind of just happened that way, honestly,
01:26because my lease was up in Atlanta.
01:28I'm like, you know, I'm not going to keep paying rent in two places.
01:31And it was a week before Phase 2 started, too.
01:33So I still wanted to be with the guys and still have me handling those bats.
01:36So it was kind of cool.
01:38What's this awesome thing for you?
01:40Did you go into it saying, I want to get better at this or this?
01:44Or was it kind of just like an overarching, like, you know,
01:47grind and get better?
01:47Yeah, like, there's some things I wanted to get better at.
01:50Obviously, you always want to get better.
01:52But it was just grind, have a good work-life, best balance.
01:57And, you know, last year I felt like I expected a lot of things.
02:01And this year I'm just going to go and do me.
02:03And that's how I do.
02:05Is there something about you or your game that when people see you out there this
02:09fall, they'll be like, wow, he's improved in that?
02:15I don't know.
02:15I feel like I improve every year.
02:17But it's weird because it's a contract year.
02:21But we have the same receiving room.
02:24So it'll be fun.
02:25I mean, I just want to make the most of all my opportunities.

02:51Just play my best.

02:54And I think I'm a great player, so that's what I'm going to play at.
