00:00The unit was forcibly entered, and the occupant was doused in an accelerant,
00:05and that accelerant was then ignited, and he suffered severe burns.
00:10It's a deliberate attack, it's a targeted attack.
00:14That forms part of our investigation of why it happened.
00:17Yeah, that's right, very violent, very direct attack.
00:21Obviously, for a deliberate brazen act like that, well, he had a beef with the man.
00:26We're waiting to see the victim, okay, speak with the victim.
00:29He was airlifted last night to Royal North Shore,
00:32and hopefully then he will have some valuable information
00:36that will lead us to the identification and potentially arrest of the offender.
00:41People within that unit block there at Warrawong would know,
00:45so I encourage the residents there to come forward
00:47and help us out with our investigation.
