Hantavirus ship passengers deemed high-risk as a new case emerge in Tenerife evacuation

The hantavirus-stricken cruise ship MV Hondius docked in Spain's Canary Islands on Sunday, where passengers will be evacuated on repatriation flights.

00:00Dozens of passengers from the Hantavirus-hit cruise ship were repreted home on Sunday aboard
00:05military and government planes after the vessel anchored in the Canary Islands.
00:11Spanish passengers were the first to leave the cruise ship following its arrival in Tenerife,
00:16with none of the passengers showing symptoms, according to first medical checks.
00:21Hours later, a plane that evacuated French passengers landed in Paris.

00:31five French passengers developed symptoms on the flight and all were put into strict
00:36isolation with plans to be tested.
00:40The last ever questioned flight is expected to leave for Australia on Monday.
00:45According to the WHO, all passengers on board are classified as, quote, high-risk contacts,
00:51threats, but the risk to the general public and the people of the Canaries remained low.
00:57Meanwhile in Italy, authorities say at least four people are in quarantine in the country
