00:08So today we'll be unboxing a Biddy Pop. So it's just like a very miniature version of a standard
00:17pop figure. So this one I really had to get because it's based off the Mortal Kombat classic line
00:27and I'm a huge fan of Mortal Kombat obviously. So I just had to get this one especially
00:32when it comes to like the original three games Mortal Kombat 1 through 3. Like I love those
00:38games to death. Especially 2. 2 was my favorite of the whole trilogy. And then you know the 3D ones
00:44came and you know I did like 4 and then the ones that came on PS2 and Xbox was like
00:51Deadly Alliance,
00:52Deception, Fallon Monks, Armageddon. Love the hell out of those. But anyways that's my little history
01:01of Mortal Kombat. So yeah. Okay so we're gonna go ahead and take a look at the Biddy Pop baby.
01:11So I'll check out the packaging here. That's kind of cool. As far as I know they only have Scorpion.
01:17So you know Scorpion's cool. So I like the little picture of his head right here. And there's like
01:23little square pixels on his face to give the illusion that he's like you know breaking out of the arcade
01:32machine screen here. But yeah. So let's take a look. Got the standard Mortal Kombat dragon logo.
01:42And then we got itty bitty itty bitty pop scorpion with pixelated face. So freaking cool.
01:52And then what's cool about this is it comes with an arcade machine. Of course it's not you know not
01:59the same design as the original cabs. I mean which is cool you know they got their own thing going
02:05here.
02:06Really cool design. But yeah. And the rest of the packaging here.
02:17So that's the back of the packaging.
02:22So I showed you how to set it up.
02:26So yeah it's no different than the TMNT one I had. That had the
02:30uh the turtle van for uh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
02:37So yeah pretty easy to set up so. All right let's go ahead and unbox this bad boy.
02:44All right so he tore it up here.
02:47So I only paid like seven or eight bucks on the Amazon for this.
02:55So yeah it's just gonna be a display piece. I'm not really
02:57you know trying to collect it. Collect them or anything. Because I don't know if they'll uh
03:02do it for other characters. They even came up with the Sonic the Hedgehog one which was
03:07pretty strange considering uh he only had two arcade releases.
03:11You know Sonic the Fighters aka Sonic Championship and uh the other one with the trackball.
03:20I forgot the name of that one but that I think that one was only Japanese exclusive. So yeah.
03:26All right so let's pop out Scorpion.
03:31Yeah Scorpion. Ah I love it.
03:35Like he's coming out of the screen.
03:39That's so cool.
03:42Scale of the box is amazing.
03:45It's kind of cool. It's like a hard plastic here.
03:49And now you take it out. It's like little tabs on the side. So yeah.
03:56All pixelated boy.
03:59Yep that's what he looks like from a distance.
04:06Yeah that's freaking neat.
04:10Okay and here's the arcade cabinet itself.
04:15I mean you don't get too technical with it like be super nerdy about it. I'm like yeah
04:20we sure as hell know that Mortal Kombat at least like the first
04:25three games had more than two buttons. Like that's crazy to me.
04:32Because yeah uh at least for the first Mortal Kombat there was only five buttons.
04:37Well six if you count the start button.
04:39But uh yeah I think it was like seven for uh Mortal Kombat 3 because it was the first two
04:46games that
04:46were like uh five button layout and stick. And that's if you're not including the player one
04:52player two buttons so. But yeah that's that's funny to me.
04:57And this big huge stick.
05:01Oh it's goofy looking but it's it's cool.
05:05But I like how they have the uh Funko Pop Scorpion on the side for the artwork.
05:14Although I think one of my favorites uh other than the Mortal Kombat 2 with Raiden on the side
05:19like summoning lightning. Uh my favorite arcade cab design was uh Quan Shi
05:25on the Mortal Kombat 4. Because damn see that was so ominous. He like he looked so intimidating
05:33on the arcade cabinet. Especially with the background with like nothing but fire.
05:38But yeah anyways uh back to the oh baby pop arcade. Nice.
05:46So pretty easy. He kind of opens up like a locker.
05:51And that's where you stick him.
05:56So yeah uh you have to take him out and then stick him in so we'll do it that way.
06:02All right so we stick him from the back as such.
06:07All right easy peasy lemon squeezy. Close her up.
06:12Locked. Locked in place. Yeah.
06:17That's so cool.
06:19Mortal Kombat classic. Oh cool. We even have the coin door.
06:24That is so cool. Definitely worth seven bucks man. Like this is this is neat.
06:31And you know me being a huge Mortal Kombat fan. Like I had to have this. Although I would have
06:38preferred
06:40um Sub-Zero. Because if they're based enough like the very first Mortal Kombat classic then yeah
06:45Sub-Zero for sure. But you know I think Funko Pop needs to like finish releasing the rest of the
06:53line.
06:55Because uh yeah I'll show you. Because I actually have like the four classic MK uh pops that they
07:01released. But they never finished the line. So excuse me.
07:07Oh yeah so these were the only four Mortal Kombat classic Funko Pops released. Of course I had to get
07:13on
07:13that. But yeah let's see. They had Sub-E, they had Scorpion, Raiden, and Liu Kang. But for some reason
07:22they
07:22couldn't release the other three. You know Kano, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage for some weird reason
07:27or another. So I thought that was a bit strange. And Funko Pop if you're listening if you if you
07:34could release the rest that'd be great. But also do like Mortal Kombat 2 classic. Because I really want
07:42a reptile Funko Pop in the classic style. Like that would be amazing.
07:50But anyways back to the uh unboxing at hand.
