00:00Yeah, it's an incredibly humbling experience and I've just got so many folk that I really
00:05want to thank. I think people voted for a change of approach. I'm going to challenge
00:10the government day in, day out and I'm going to try and bang the drum for the Highlands.
00:14I think too many people have felt forgotten and left behind and they want someone to champion
00:18the issues that matter to them. Consultant-led maternity services and KTHS, that's absolutely
00:22top billing. We won an independent review, a vote in parliament in November but that's
00:28still not being delivered. That's what people expect, that's what I think democracy
00:31expects, so I'll keep campaigning on that. But of course, the state of our roads and
00:35an access to social care too. It's just awful that too many people are stuck in hospital
00:39overnight because they haven't got a care package to receive them at home. That's what we need
00:43to have real action on and real action soon. I think this is a new chapter in the Highlands,
00:47you know, we've still got election results still to come but building on the general
00:51election we had two years ago, people are coming to us in droves and it's not just this action
00:55with the Scottish National Party, that is absolutely the case, but they want someone
00:59who's going to ban the drum for them. And also incidentally, I talk about that change of
01:02approach, it's about believing in people to make the best decisions for themselves, that's
01:06what liberals believe, that's what I think a lot of Highlanders believe, so I think that's
01:09why people are coming to us.
