00:00Well, we've got a track record now.
00:02You know, where we have majority control of the 10 councils we won on May 1st last year,
00:07one year in, you know, we can say hand on heart we've already saved over £300 million
00:12and we've kept our council tax rises lower than any of the other parties running comparable
00:19counties.
00:20And if you doubt me, the IFS actually yesterday backed that up.
00:23So we are delivering value for money.
00:26What we're going to do here is, whilst many of these are new to politics, we've also
00:31got some old lags.
00:34Sorry, Keith.
00:35Well, you weren't the council leader, you know.
00:37So we've also got some experience of how to run this place and we're very excited about
00:42the prospects.
00:43By the way, no one's got a magic wand.
00:45We all know that finances of local councils all over the country are severely stretched
00:50and we're not promising miracles, but we are promising good value for money.
