00:03:31we really are going to be keeping every eye on you to see whether you can survive the tests of
00:03:37australian idol and therefore survive the life of an artist after all you say this is your dream

00:03:53well first up is my favorite the chorus line
00:03:58in lines of five you will all sing the same song but you must stand out that is the key

00:04:21the chorus line challenge is simple but simple does not mean easy our singers have been split
00:04:30into six groups with each group allocated a different song hardest part for this for me is
00:04:37the chorus line challenge because i might get assigned the most random song and have to like
00:04:41put my magic into it the goal stand out from your group or risk going home
00:04:49i'm going to work my eyes off to get that top 21 because i want to get in there
00:04:54throughout the day the judges must select one person from each group to be put on notice
00:05:00and at the end of the day three of the singers on notice will leave the competition
00:05:07i want it pretty badly i'm finding that the further you get the more you want it
00:05:11i think that sort of goes for everyone i've spoken to as it goes on you're like oh wait
00:05:15this is kind of cool i don't want to leave while the rest of our singers anxiously await their turn
00:05:21on stage it's time for our first group to front the judges and they'll be singing miley cyrus's

00:05:49it's remarkable what you just did thank you the chorus line really has the potential to expose me
