00:131909 when an Italian French engineer by the name of Etor Bugatti founded the company that would
00:18bear his name. Etor had a passion for cars ever since he was young and had worked with several
00:23other automobile companies in France before starting his own company. He set up his first
00:27workshop in an old airplane hangar in the French town of Moselle where he started producing his
00:31own designs for cars. Despite having limited resources, the cars produced in this small
00:36workshop were already very advanced for their time. One example was the Bugatti Type 10, which was one
00:41of the first production cars to have a four-valve cylinder head. This innovative engine design was
00:45light years ahead of its time and was patented until 1927. The Type 10 was so advanced that even
00:51the tools needed to manufacture its parts did not exist and had to be custom made.
