00:00So let's start with something that involves banking in both Italy and Germany.
00:05Yeah that's right. So that is what you're referencing is a unit credit.
00:10Andrea Ochoa going after Commerce Bank in Germany. And that's actually a deal that's been playing out since 2024.
00:19And the development is that this week the acceptance period has opened where commerce shareholder can tender their share
00:27to unit credit at a discount. So that is actually quite controversial where Commerce Management hasn't quite endorsed or engaged
00:35in this.
00:36But Ochoa has gone directly to shareholders asking them to tender.
00:39Yeah it's not just Commerce Bank management that's not thrilled about it. The German government is not excited either.
00:44Another deal that you're watching for us Crystal is Vodafone getting full control of the UK mobile phone operator.
00:50The biggest one in the country. It's a deal worth 4.3 billion pounds.
00:55That's right. So Vodafone 3 was a joint venture between CK Hutchison in Hong Kong and Vodafone in the UK.
01:02They had actually originally planned to Vodafone had planned to take over the entire company once the company reaches 16
01:09.5 billion pounds in valuation.
01:11And they're actually saving a few bucks here. The company is now value at somewhere around 13 pounds 13 billion
01:17pounds.
01:18And Vodafone is going to take over the entire company. And that comes at a time where CK Hutchison and
01:22some other Hong Kong conglomerates are reviewing their assets overseas.
01:26And that ties into that theme that they're bringing money back home to Hong Kong.
01:30And obviously you're not going to have a plan to make their money back home.
01:30Vodafone I'm but I this one of a company for a 6 million pounds.
01:30We can help them go Eat to Portugal now.
01:31Because we've written ministry 3.22 across the country's Westland-ways,
