00:14After seven weeks in therapy, I can't believe that there is still all this drama in the house,
00:20but tonight has been insane. Natalie got in our face, my mom jumped in her face,
00:28and Cassie is having an anxiety attack. Her entire body is shaking. It's so scary.
00:36Just lay back. Lay back.
00:41Just anxiety. It'll go away.
00:46Thank you. I haven't had a panic attack in years. I don't know. I can usually control it. Sorry.
00:52Just take a deep breath. Put your hands down. Put your side.
00:59Big breath out. It feels better.
01:05It hasn't happened in a while, but it's okay. Once I start breathing, it gets better. It's hard.
01:10My panic attack is being caused by all this tension. It's just so much yelling, and I don't deal with
01:15this ever.
01:16I always avoid confrontation, but I finally calmed down. I caught my breath, and I'm okay to walk back to
01:24my room.
01:24Good night. Thank you so much.
01:26That is it for me. I'm done for the night.
01:29I'm lucky I'm still standing.
01:34Kimberly, next time I have something to say, I would appreciate it if you don't walk out of the room.
01:38That's all I ask.
01:39I felt like you and Cassie want to walk out when I'm just in the middle of asking you guys
01:46something.
01:48People are always seeing me as the bad girl. That's not all I am.
01:52No one else is getting looked up on the internet and getting called out about their issues.
01:57Can you just talk to me for a minute?
01:59I am.
01:59Where's your voice?
02:01Just talk to me.
02:02Okay.
02:02Let's talk for just a second.
02:04Yep, let's talk.
02:05And you said, who Googled me? I honestly, I don't know. And when you're yelling and saying,
02:09who f***ed? Go call me.
02:11We felt attacked and we just had to sit there and say, we don't know. Because we don't know.
02:16And I'm sorry that you felt like we were playing dumb or whatever, but we honestly weren't.
02:20And Cassie went in there and had a literal f***ed panic attack. She couldn't breathe.
02:26And you did that because you were following us down the hallway.
02:29I didn't do that.
02:31Jeez, can these girls not take any kind of confrontation at all?
02:35She said, I felt attacked.
02:37Oh.
02:37And she freaked out.
02:40Good night, Kimberly.
02:48Hola.
02:50How did I think?
02:52Good.
02:53Didn't want to fall asleep, but I slept well.
02:55Well, that's the most positive message you put on the board in a while.
02:58This morning, I find out that Cassie's had a panic attack.
03:02Dr. Debbie tells me I need to step back and let Cassie do Cassie.
03:07But I'm still her mom.
03:08And I do feel like Natalie owes Cassie an apology.
03:12Absolutely.
03:13Hang in there.
03:14We're almost done.
03:15Wow.
03:16I'm scared.
03:17I know that we're going to be talking about last night.
03:22And that's not going to be very fun.
03:24We all know that Natalie has a problem with rage.
03:27And I think we heard it, we heard it, we heard it.
03:30But seeing it is a different situation.
03:33And I feel like Karen and Natalie, they've been making a lot of progress.
03:37But after everything last night, I feel like everyone feels so awkward with each other.
03:45Good morning.
03:46Good morning.
03:47Good morning.
03:49Whenever there's huge confrontation, I just would rather avoid it.
03:54I don't deal with this ever because I have panic attacks all the time.
03:57Caused by all the things that I felt responsible for throughout my life.
04:00I felt responsible for my dad leaving and everything bad that happened to my mom.
04:05So I always avoid confrontation.
04:08That's just who I am and how I've always dealt with things.
04:11I was getting anxiety just hearing you be so aggressive.
04:15You guys continue to go to your room and close the doors when I'm talking.
04:22I wasn't aggressive.
04:23I just didn't feel it was right the way you went after the girls last night.
04:27You went after me, Kim.
04:28That's what you call going after someone.
04:30So I went after to tell you to stop.
04:33I was afraid you were going to hurt them.
04:34You know, people don't like to be treated so aggressively.
04:38You were aggressive too, Kim.
04:40Yeah, I was aggressive because you went after the girls.
04:42It doesn't matter.
04:42It wasn't even your place to even do anything.
04:45The vibe going into week seven, I feel like people are just a little worried and they're scared of me.
04:52Everyone is feeling like a little nervous and that I'm still, you know, a work in progress for sure.
05:01So today I'd like to try something different.
05:04This week I want to work with some of you individually and some of you with your mothers or daughters,
05:09but not in a group.
05:09You're leaving this house next week and when you do, I want to make sure that you have confidence that
05:16you're leaving in a better place with your mothers and daughters.
05:18The reason why I'm doing one-on-one therapy is because people can be more open, more honest, less self
05:24-conscious.
05:25They don't have to worry about hurting the other person's feelings.
05:27It's just about them and what they're dealing with inside.
05:31So before we move forward, from what I understand, a lot went down last night when I was not here.
05:37And I think this would be a great opportunity to sort of talk about what happened so it's not the
05:43elephant in the room and gets in the way and moving forward.
05:46So does anyone want to tell me what happened, Natalie?
05:51Natalie, I'm actually really upset right now.
05:53And the reason I'm upset is because of what happened last night.
05:57Oh my God, Natalie is the bad guy in this whole situation.
06:01I just want everyone in this room to know that...
06:06Oh, now she's going to cry.
06:08I came in here and I was really honest about me.
06:12I'm not trying to, like, come at people in an aggressive way.
06:17I'm not happy about that stuff.
06:19That stuff doesn't make me feel good.
06:21It's actually embarrassing.
06:23And I've said that repeatedly.
06:25I don't like the way I feel.
06:27Like, I don't like that.
06:30I don't care.
06:31I was such a bad daughter.
06:34I don't care.
06:35I don't like those things about me.
06:38Anger, being aggressive, rage, screaming.
06:43Why I feel bad right now is because it's like...
06:45I don't know why everyone else is like...
06:47I guess my communication last night was, like, not right.
06:52Wah, wah, wah.
06:54I am kind of feeling like, you know, Natalie is kind of always the victim.
06:58I have never told her that because I just don't want to fight with her.
07:01It was bullying.
07:02You came after these kids.
07:05Hey, stop.
07:05For the record, Mom, I love you, but I can speak for myself.
07:08Okay.
07:09Okay?
07:09I can.
07:10Okay.
07:11So when you got in her face last night, it just caused way more drama than I want.
07:15Okay.
07:16I can fight my own battles.
07:18And that's a line that we're still finding.
07:22She went after these kids, and I was standing there, and I felt anxiety.
07:28I saw her going down the hall.
07:30You are not.
07:31You are not excused.
07:32In my mind, I saw her going after the girls, and I didn't see ending there.
07:36Kim got in Natalie's face, and I'm standing in between them.
07:39We were in each other's face.
07:42Excuse me.
07:43Excuse me.
07:43I think Kim definitely showed her true colors by coming at Natalie last night.
07:48She knows that Natalie is working on her issues with rage, so why would she come at Natalie in such
07:53an aggressive manner?
07:54I thought she was going to hurt them.
07:55I've had bad experiences.
07:58You know what?
07:58I'm going to just cut in here for a minute because five minutes before this explosion, Kim and I were
08:04sitting in the mudroom having a very nice talk, and she was telling me about how she's almost been choked
08:11on set, and, you know, two people have almost killed her.
08:14And all of a sudden, I hear screaming, Kim's taking off her sweater, and she's pushing Natalie's hand.
08:21And I was like, whoa, you know what?
08:24If I had gone in there at that time, Kim and I would have been fighting.
08:29Oh, okay, Karen.
08:30Oh, ha-ha.
08:33What, Kim?
08:34She was going after my daughter.
08:36She was not going after anyone.
08:39You were in the kitchen when she went after Cassie and Kimberly.
08:42She wasn't going after anyone to put hands on anybody.
08:45I got tons of anxiety.
08:47She started it.
08:49Okay, Karen, stop.
08:50She really don't tell me what to do.
08:52I'm defending myself.
08:53What I was trying to ask them was not the right way to ask them, and I understand that, but
08:59that's what I'm working on.
09:00I think there's just a much nicer way to address that.
09:04All this other stuff is f***ing stupid.
09:07It is ridiculous, and it is not why we're here.
09:11When your mom had the whole big thing with Kevin and Brittany, you had to become an adult very quickly.
09:18I've been carrying all of this with me my entire life, and Dr. Debbie says that it's not my fault.
09:25It wasn't fair that I had to be happy all the time because I knew how sad you were.
09:29You can't ignore that there's a dog.
09:32We just can't.
09:33So I actually invited Doug here today.
09:36I'm only dealing with her.
09:37I am not going to be in a room with Doug.
09:38That's it.
09:40So tell us how you met Courtney exactly.
09:42Courtney was being courted by tons of men, from sports figures to sheiks in the Middle East.
09:51What the f***, dude?
09:53Sheiks?
09:53How are sheiks finding a 16-year-old?
09:57Um, that's basically how it started.
09:59Yeah.
09:59Yeah.
10:03All this other stuff is f***ing stupid.
10:06It is ridiculous, and it is not why we're here.
10:08I don't care who, who, who, who.
10:10I don't give a f***.
10:11I'm here to work on my relationship with my baby.
10:14Cassie, what do you have to say?
10:15You've been quiet back there?
10:16I appreciated Kim stepping in because she, it gave me a chance to sneak away.
10:21But, I mean, I was just trying to get away from the energy because I don't deal with confrontation like
10:25that.
10:25Sorry.
10:26It's okay.
10:27You know you didn't lose me as a friend, right?
10:30And I still love you.
10:32It was just a lot of energy.
10:33That's, it was just the energy.
10:35I promise you that's all it was.
10:36I have anxiety, so bad energy just gives me panic attacks.
10:40That's my thing.
10:40So I understand your issues, and I'm not going to hold it against you.
10:43You're being honest.
10:44You're being open.
10:44You apologize to me.
10:45Like, we can move faster.
10:46I don't hold grudges at all.
10:48I avoid confrontation, so I don't say things that I'm going to regret in the morning.
10:52And if I would have said the things that I felt last night when Natalie was chasing me down a
10:58hallway,
10:58I don't think that we would be friends today.
11:01We'll just leave it at that.
11:02Things will happen between you guys, and it's the same issues you're each having to work on in your relationship.
11:07So there, there will be something coming from this.
11:38I just, I want to address you, Natalie.
11:39Dismissed for right now, except I would like Cassie to stay behind.
11:44Everyone else can go.
11:47See you later, ladies.
11:49Charlotte, I'll go too far away.
11:50We're going to need you.
11:51I got you.
11:51Just not for the moment.
11:52Okay.
11:53I'm the first one to stay behind for individual therapy, and I've been dreading this.
11:59I am so sorry.
12:01Like, I couldn't even sleep last night.
12:03But we definitely needed this.
12:04I needed that.
12:06I'm like, I'm so happy, because I did want to, like, clear the air.
12:09I didn't want it to be, like, this weird, you know, we're hiding from you, and I didn't want that.
12:13I'm so sorry.
12:14Like, I want to change.
12:17And here you are.
12:18Natalie has realized that she has to just deal with her emotions, and she can't just mask it with anger.
12:25But I think it's going to take time.
12:27You better shut up when you're talking to me.
12:30I think you and your mom might be the hottest ones in your life.
12:35There are still some things that I've been paying attention to that I don't think you're saying.
12:41And so today's therapy for us is about helping you get to those things, because if you don't get to
12:47them and you leave here, they're going to get in the way of real progress.
12:52I know that all of the issues that we're working on stem from me opening up and me not speaking
12:58up for myself.
12:59And last night was kind of a reflection of that, because I wasn't really speaking.
13:04And for me, those things have to do more with when your mom had the whole big thing with Kevin
13:11and Brittany, because I think that was a moment for you where you had to become an adult very quickly.
13:16Yeah.
13:19So it was just a lot of stress and pressure.
13:21I felt like if I wasn't happy and wasn't helping everyone be less stressed, then I was causing all these
13:28problems.
13:29Do you recognize that's a heavy burden for a child to take on?
13:34Yeah.
13:35I get it.
13:36And now you make everything your fault.
13:38You do that all the time, Cassie.
13:40I know.
13:40It's not your fault.
13:42I know.
13:43Do you know?
13:44I do.
13:45It's just so hard.
13:46I know it is.
13:47It's just a habit.
13:48It's like making things my fault or something happens.
13:51It's because I did something wrong.
13:52Tell your mom it wasn't fair that you were never allowed to be angry or be a kid, because you
13:57always had to be perfect.
13:58You were blamed for everything.
14:01It wasn't fair that because you and dad were breaking up, no one showed up for me at my family
14:06barbecue.
14:07It wasn't fair that I had to be happy all the time because I knew how sad you were.
14:14Just, it wasn't fair.
14:15It was so much pressure.
14:17And even past that, it was just so much to try and be happy.
14:21I knew, like, I was getting bullied at school every day, and, like, I wasn't allowed to come home and
14:26be sad about it, because you already had so much on your plate.
14:30It was just so much at such a young age.
14:34And, like, it was always a joke, like, 13 going on 30, like, but that's really how I felt.
14:40Right, but it was no joke.
14:41You needed a mommy.
14:42It's not your fault.
14:47You're okay.
14:48I've been carrying all of this with me my entire life, and Dr. Debbie says that it's not my fault.
14:56And for the first time in my life, I actually believe it, and it just feels like this huge weight
15:01is just lifted off of me.
15:02You're on, kid.
15:06So, um...
15:08I cried myself to sleep in my room with my pillow in my face up until my teenage years, to
15:14the point where, you know, my friends were texting you that one day worried about me because I was texting
15:18them sad things.
15:19Like, I was so depressed into my teenage years because it was so much pressure to just feel like I
15:27had to be the good kid.
15:28Like, that's how I was trying to handle all the stress that I was feeling.
15:34And this is what's been holding her back inside.
15:44Like I said, I knew it was something I just didn't know.
15:49From day one to now, we have made so much progress, and for me, this is a huge moment of
15:57clarity because I've always known that there's something not right.
16:02And to finally hear it, now I know, and now I'm aware, so now I can work on it and
16:09make sure that she never feels that again.
16:12What happened?
16:15Oh, it's getting real today.
16:17Are you serious?
16:18It was actually a really good session.
16:20We had a breakthrough with Cassie, which led to a breakthrough with me, and it's getting down to the nitty
16:25-gritty of everything.
16:26It was good, though.
16:27It was good.
16:29You okay, Krista?
16:30I asked Courtney, I said, is he going to be in there?
16:32She's like, I don't know.
16:34He's going to have to admit that he wasn't Mr. Innocent in this situation.
16:38I don't want to break the marriage up either over it, so I'm kind of in a tough spot right
16:41here.
16:41It's going to be an opportunity for you to be able to deal with everything once and for all, if
16:46he's here.
16:47I think you'll be in there.
16:49I do, too.
16:51Hi, Courtney.
16:52Good to see you.
16:53Good to see you.
16:54Have a seat.
16:55How are you doing?
16:56I'm okay.
16:57Yeah?
16:58I'm just really nervous today.
17:00I haven't told my mom Doug's coming because I don't want her to leave, but I'm just hoping that everything
17:05goes good.
17:06I kind of feel, and I've told Dr. Debbie this, that I feel kind of like I've fallen back into
17:11how he used to be.
17:14I've realized that eight weeks isn't long enough to be able to heal our relationship.
17:21This is a short, intense experience, and then you're out on your own again.
17:25And it feels like we need to tackle the things that have hurt you both over the years.
17:30And I do think the big issue right now is Doug.
17:34You should be calming down, and you should...
17:38No, no, no, you...
17:39I sleep around here.
17:40I was emotionally attached to her husband.
17:44We can't ignore that there's a dog.
17:47We just can't.
17:48So I actually invited Doug here today, because otherwise, my fear is it will never, ever happen.
17:54I'm only dealing with her.
17:56I am not going to be in a room with Doug.
17:57That's it.
18:02Who's there?
18:03Woo-hoo!
18:04Uh-oh.
18:07It's the door, Cat!
18:09Hey, hi.
18:11Hi!
18:11I'm Doug.
18:12I'm Courtney's husband.
18:14The infamous Doug.
18:16Dun-dun-dun.
18:17I'll be surprised if he makes it out alive.
18:19Honestly.
18:20Hi, nice to meet you.
18:21We've heard so much about you.
18:23Yeah, I bet you have.
18:24Oh, my God.
18:26Christopher is missing it.
18:28You brought the dog.
18:30You brought a cupcake.
18:31Yeah.
18:32Well, would you like to meet the rest of the house?
18:34Yes.
18:35I'd like to see my wife.
18:38All right.
18:38As soon as possible.
18:40These are the girls.
18:42Girls, this is Doug.
18:43Hi.
18:44I'm Doug.
18:45I'm Courtney's husband.
18:47I'm not the only one who knows that Krista is a compulsive liar.
18:52I'm going to stand up to you.
18:55You, him, them, everybody.
18:58Oh, my God.
18:59I need to wash my face.
19:01And why are you getting in my face about it?
19:03So that you can go in the other room.
19:05My mom's getting in my face.
19:06I don't understand why she just won't back up.
19:08Like, she knows I'm going to go off right now.
19:10Stop talking to me like my dad.
19:12Don't stand up right now.
19:18These are the girls.
19:20Girls, this is Doug.
19:21Hi.
19:22I'm Doug.
19:23I'm Courtney's husband.
19:25I'm actually kind of excited to get to know Doug.
19:29Because it takes an interesting person to be in the situation that he's in.
19:35And this is our little baby, one of our little babies, Cupcake.
19:39We've heard so much about Cupcake.
19:42Yeah.
19:43So tell us how you met Courtney exactly.
19:46We're kind of curious, like, how it all kind of started.
19:49What's your side?
19:50So we started communicating, mostly just emailing and, like, talking about what's your favorite color, what kind of food you...
19:58And so it kind of turned personal.
20:01We basically fell for each other through maybe two and a half months of email exchanges.
20:08I mean, over the course of, like, six to seven months, my husband and I just started falling in love
20:14with each other.
20:15And, I mean, yeah, come on, like, WTF, I'm 16, he's 50 years old.
20:20It's crazy.
20:21He says two months, they told us seven months.
20:24And then all of a sudden he shows up at the front door one day, knock, knock, knock.
20:28Hi, I came to ask your daughter to marry me.
20:31Please sign on the dotted line.
20:35After I found out about Courtney's age, I had a really frank talk with Krista.
20:40And I said, listen, I don't know if you know what's going on here, but your daughter and I are
20:48falling for each other.
20:50And Krista said, you're a good person and I don't have any problem with you and Courtney continuing to explore
20:57this together.
20:58I mean, Courtney was being courted by tons of men, closer to her age, wealthier than me, more famous, from
21:09sports figures to politicians to sheiks in the Middle East.
21:14What the f***, dude?
21:16Sheiks?
21:17How are sheiks finding a 16-year-old?
21:20Um, that's basically how it started.
21:23Yeah.
21:24I hope when he comes in here, I hope he's perfectly honest.
21:26Listen, none of this has to be pretty.
21:28It's not going to be wrapped up in a bow.
21:30It could be a little messy and we'll work it out.
21:33Okay, but I don't want people to attack each other.
21:36Okay.
21:36Dr. Debbie's got it.
21:37Okay.
21:38I'll be back.
21:42All the truth needs to come out or we're never going to be healed.
21:45Ever.
21:46Mom.
21:47Okay.
21:48Ever.
21:49And I know.
21:52Hi.
21:53Hi.
21:53Must be Doug.
21:54I am.
21:54Dr. Debbie.
21:55Who's this?
21:56Dr. Debbie, this is Cupcake.
21:57It's a pleasure to meet you.
22:00Hi.
22:00Can we leave Cupcake here?
22:02Yes.
22:03Okay, so she hasn't gone potty at all today, but she goes on her wee-wee pads.
22:09Let's put one down just in case.
22:11Come with me, Doug.
22:12Okay, now listen.
22:13She might not go because she likes privacy.
22:15I think she's going to be just fine.
22:18Okay.
22:18I'm just trying to take care of my baby.
22:20Good girl.
22:21There's 18,000 women in here.
22:23Your dog is good.
22:24This is her favorite bankie.
22:26Come with me.
22:27Okay, I will.
22:29Good luck, Doug.
22:31Diddy's here.
22:31I'm not going anywhere.
22:33Come with me.
22:34Okay.
22:34Thank you, Krista.
22:36Okay.
22:37What just happened?
22:39If I walk out, I don't want you upset with me.
22:42You can do whatever you want, Mom.
22:44My mom continues to threaten to leave before Doug even walks through the door.
22:49It's almost like she doesn't want to confront the situation because she knows she is guilty.
22:55And she doesn't want to be called out.
22:57Be as honest and open as you can be.
22:59I will.
22:59That's all we ask.
23:00I will.
23:01Krista is about to go crazy.
23:09Hi, honey.
23:10Hi, sweetheart.
23:12How are you?
23:13I miss you so much.
23:21Doug walks through the door, and I'm really feeling kind of sick in my stomach.
23:28Hey, Krista.
23:29Hi.
23:30So, Doug, where did it all go wrong?
23:32I really want to hear your perspective.
23:35Okay.
23:36I think it was only about two weeks after we were married, Krista just threw this thing into a nightmare.
23:44She took me aside.
23:45And professed that she was in love with me.
23:48It's not true.
23:49He's already lying to her about it.
23:51So, what do I do now?
23:52He's not admitting what he did.
23:54I'm not sure if Krista's dust in denial, or there's just something much bigger going on here.
23:58The only way this mother and daughter pair is ever going to have a chance of healing is if we
24:04get to the bottom of this, get to the truth, and deal with it.
24:09Doug is here.
24:10Something's going on.
24:11Somebody slept with somebody, right, Cassie?
24:13I know.
24:13Yeah, I know.
24:14I think that there's some more going on to the story.
24:18And if Cupcake could talk, she'd let us know.
24:23Cupcake speak.
24:24We might not want to hear Cupcake speak.
24:28Just saying.
24:29I think Cupcake probably needs her own therapy.
24:32Poor Doug has probably seen a lot.
24:33Doug said, you know what?
24:35I feel Courtney's getting ready to leave me.
24:37If you stay here with me, I feel that Courtney won't leave.
24:41I feel that you need to stay here.
24:44Please promise me that if she leaves me, that you will stay next door and you won't move with her.
24:50And I made you that promise.
24:52That's not true.
24:54It's just not true.
24:55And I have a feeling that every single thing that comes out of your mouth is about denial, lying, and
25:06manipulating for your severely narcissistic motives.
25:12Krista was relentless about her feelings for me, how when she was lying next door, she was thinking about me.
25:19And it culminated into an unbelievable confession from Krista, saying that when Courtney leaves you, I will be here for
25:28you, because I am in love with you.
25:31That's not true.
25:32I'm not the only one who knows that Krista is a compulsive liar.
25:39She is manipulative.
25:41She is deceitful.
25:44She has done this to me in the past, and now she's trying to do it on TV.
25:49And it's really pissing me off.
25:52This is such an issue.
25:56Krista is a compulsive liar.
25:59Courtney, am I a compulsive liar?
26:01Based on looking back at your patterns and the pain that you've caused me and why I'm sitting here is
26:08because you haven't been honest with me.
26:10My mom fell in love with my husband, and I think that's why she signed off on the paper, because
26:16she was secretly in love with him.
26:18And she was thinking, you know what?
26:20Maybe this relationship won't work, and I'm going to marry him.
26:23It's a delusional fantasy my mom has played out in her head.
26:27Doug, did you have an emotional affair with her?
26:30Absolutely not.
26:31Well, then I guess I had it with myself.
26:34I knew he probably would deny it, because his favorite saying is, deny, deny, deny.
26:40When I married Courtney, I lost my entire family.
26:44My mother, my father, my brother, everyone ostracized me, because they didn't understand my marriage to Courtney.
26:55I didn't have anyone else to go to.
26:57So you did go to her for emotional connection?
27:01I didn't go.
27:02All the time.
27:03I didn't go to her for support.
27:05I went to her for advice.
27:07I'm calling you on your lies, and you're deflecting.
27:10And I know why you don't want to say that, because if you did, she would upset Courtney, and you'd
27:14be in the hot seat.
27:15Doug, did you tell her that you had any feelings for her other than mother-in-law?
27:21No, never.
27:22I never felt we were friends.
27:24I didn't feel we were obviously not lovers, and I think that's your delusion.
27:28What are you talking about?
27:30Krista, I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
27:33It doesn't matter what you say right now, because you're not telling the truth.
27:35I'm going to stand up to you.
27:37I'm a different woman, okay?
27:38I don't...
27:39You better be happy I wasn't the woman I am now when I signed that paper for her, okay?
27:43You just count your blessings.
27:44You've got a lot of anger, and you know what?
27:47Yes, I do, because you're not telling the truth.
27:48That pisses me off.
27:49What's interesting, too, is his story has never changed once.
27:54Your story has done like a complete 180.
27:57Mm-hmm.
27:57Mm-hmm.
27:58So that is telling to me.
28:01I have never been attracted to you.
28:04I am not now, and I never will be sexually, emotionally, or otherwise, ever.
28:13F*** you, f*** him, f*** them, f*** everybody.
28:16Oh, my God.
28:16Seriously, don't F with me, because it's not a good place to go.
28:20There are still things that we don't know, right?
28:23Mom says yes, Doug says no.
28:26Doug says your mom said it, your mom says Doug said it.
28:28What actually happened, and why such a disconnect here?
28:31Yeah, this does go round and round and round in a circle, and I just cannot deal with it.
28:37Krista is still not getting it.
28:39She takes no responsibility for her actions towards her daughter.
28:43I mean, for God's sake, she's having an emotional affair with Courtney's husband.
28:47There's going to be a lot more work to do, but really, you guys came a long way today.
28:53In moving forward, you are going to have to decide, can you accept it, and can you move
28:58forward with it, and I'm going to leave you guys with that, okay?
29:01Okay.
29:01Great.
29:02We finally come out of therapy, and I'm feeling like there's no progress happening,
29:07and I'm just really overwhelmed and angry and still very hurt.
29:12She is manipulative.
29:14I know.
29:14She is deceitful.
29:17She has done this to me in the past, and now she's trying to do it on TV, and it's
29:22really
29:23pissing me off.
29:24Good.
29:25Okay?
29:25Yeah.
29:26So I know you're calm right now, and I love that, but this is such an issue.
29:33What was her whole internet thing about?
29:36When Courtney first started, like, you know, getting into her teens, and she started, like,
29:39putting, like, modeling pictures and stuff like that on the internet, oh, my God.
29:43She was getting attention from all over the world.
29:46You were monitoring his and Courtney's messages about the romantic emails and all that, and
29:52that you knew the whole time.
29:53I did.
29:54I do not mean to cut you off, but what in God's name is the point of monitoring it if
29:58not to
29:58stop things like 50-year-old men from coming at your 16-year-old daughter?
30:09Is there anything you'd like to talk about?
30:11Anything you think is not yet resolved for you?
30:14I didn't want to be the adult.
30:16I didn't want to be a kid who was responsible for two families' happiness.
30:21I didn't want to do that.
30:23That's the most honest I've ever heard you.
30:25Here it is.
30:26Open up the f***ing damn door.
30:32Here it is.
30:34Open the f***ing door before I come in here.
30:47You were monitoring his and Courtney's messages about the romantic emails and all that, and
30:53that you knew the whole time.
30:54I did.
30:55I do not mean to cut you off, but what in God's name is the point of monitoring it if
30:59not to
30:59stop things like 50-year-old men from coming at your 16-year-old daughter?
31:03Because he was teaching her.
31:04He was her teacher.
31:05I didn't know how old he was.
31:07Yeah, but you knew he was grown.
31:11She's unwell, Courtney.
31:13She's just not well, and I don't know how to deal with that.
31:16After this process is over, we want to explore our own personal therapy to try to figure this
31:25out.
31:25But if you still want your mother in your life, after all of this is over, I'm willing
31:31to lend myself to that with therapy.
31:38I love you.
31:41Can I walk you out?
31:42As I'm walking Doug out, I'm feeling really exhausted.
31:46Bye.
31:47Bye, sweetie.
31:48I thought I was going to come in here, and after eight weeks, we're going to be skipping
31:52down the road.
31:53Hi, baby.
31:54But right now, I'm coming to the conclusion that that's not the case.
31:58I think you're, like, in a hard place, you know?
32:02I just really don't know what to do right now, you know?
32:05Like, with a relationship with my mom, I just kind of feel like, I mean, I'm going to
32:11finish this process.
32:12Are you going to go leave here and be cool and cordial with her and have a relationship
32:15or not right now?
32:17Just let her know that you love her and that you're happy to be here with her and to try
32:21to just separate this, you know, just say, whatever happened today, you know, I just
32:24love you, and I'm just glad to be here with you.
32:26And I want us to be good, and I want us to go forward.
32:30Okay.
32:30I'm going to do that.
32:32After this therapy session with Courtney, Doug, and myself, things are a little icy between
32:37Courtney and me.
32:38I'm disappointed that Courtney believes her husband over me, but then again, I understand
32:44that she does need time to heal.
32:50I just walked by.
32:52I'll send this to her face.
32:53I don't care, you know?
32:54It's just, I don't know.
32:57Yeah, we have one more week, and I just, like, kind of feel like I'm at the hardest part.
33:01Did you just talk to Courtney?
33:03No, she's in there talking to Natalie, so I just walked by, because I don't want to
33:06interrupt any girl talk, right?
33:08I've got to get that girl back.
33:13Welcome to therapy.
33:15Have a seat.
33:16Is there anything you'd like to talk about?
33:17Anything you think is not yet resolved for you?
33:20I'm angry with my mom, because I feel like she made me emotionally responsible for them
33:27as a child, and my whole life.
33:30Tell me what you were responsible for.
33:32Like, sometimes my parents, you know, would get in arguments or things like that, and she
33:38would shut down, and then I would be the one to make her happy, and then I would, like,
33:41try to distract my mom, be like, hey, I'm here, I'll come with you, and...
33:48That's the most honest I've ever heard you.
33:51This is a really big deal, because I do think that this is the crux of so many things.
33:58If I could change things, I certainly would.
34:00I'm sorry.
34:01No, and I'm not...
34:02I'm not mad that I was in those situations.
34:05I'm not, like, scarred by it, you know, I mean...
34:08Yes, you are.
34:10Yes, you are.
34:12I guess I am.
34:13Don't take it away.
34:14All right.
34:14Don't take care of her.
34:16She could take care of herself.
34:17Mom, let her off the hook.
34:21I can take care of myself.
34:23I have been taking care of myself.
34:24You don't have to do it anymore.
34:26You don't have to do it anymore.
34:28I don't want you to do it anymore.
34:30You don't want me to do it anymore.
34:31No, not at all.
34:33I'm the mom.
34:34I don't need you to take care of me.
34:36I want to take care of you.
34:38Okay, you hear that?
34:42Yeah.
34:43This was amazing that this finally came out for you.
34:47And I have so much hope for you guys.
34:49And your mother's letting you off the hook,
34:51and you have to start to let yourself off the hook.
34:53I think Heidi and Jarlene made a ton of progress here,
34:55and I don't believe they're going to fall back into old patterns.
34:58Now you're carrying the torch for this.
35:00She's done with the torch.
35:02Okay?
35:03I really feel like my mom and I are the best we've ever been.
35:07She can now have a more balanced adult mother-daughter relationship with me
35:11that I've really been wanting.
35:13So I think we're just going to be in such a good place
35:16to be able to continue to move forward from here.
35:21He was coming to me.
35:22That doesn't make it right.
35:23I never, if I ever said it was right.
35:25But it is a lot for a young girl to handle,
35:27her mom and her husband.
35:29Regardless of what situation it is, you know?
35:32And please don't look at me like you hate me.
35:34Why don't you just, you know, forgive?
35:36Do you want me to just lie to you right now and say I forgive you?
35:39I mean, you need to also have patience with me as well.
35:42Okay?
35:43But please don't look at me with dangers in your eyes like you hate me.
35:47That hurts me.
35:50I will just wash my face.
35:52And why are you getting in my face?
35:53So that you can go in the other room.
35:56My mom's getting in my face.
35:57I don't understand why she just won't back up.
35:59Like, she knows I'm going to go off right now.
36:01I'm emotional and angry, it's not going to be good.
36:04Stop walking to be like me right now.
36:06I don't f***ing sense right now.
36:11What was your guys' exercises?
36:14Did you cry?
36:15We all cried.
36:16I knew it.
36:17Where's my lunch?
36:18Exactly.
36:19What are they trying to do to us here?
36:21You're horrible.
36:22I know, right?
36:23It's emotional.
36:25Why don't we put your bikini on and go to the hot tub?
36:27Let's do it.
36:27Yeah, let's do it.
36:28I think everyone just needs to let loose a little bit, relax.
36:32The exercises are so intense.
36:34We have such intense days that we need to let go a little bit or everyone's going to snap.
36:39We're going to the hot tub.
36:41Are you coming?
36:41Let's go.
36:44Oh!
36:47Ouchie!
36:47We've all been crying.
36:49We've been so emotional.
36:50It's time to just be hot beach babes and just strut around in our bikinis.
36:54Oh!
36:56Oh!
36:56Oh!
36:57Oh!
36:57Oh!
36:57Oh!
36:58Oh!
37:00In the pool, it's like ice cold.
37:02Everyone took a dive in the pool and I didn't because it was an ice bath.
37:08Hiya, go girls.
37:12How do they go as well?
37:13Dad!
37:18Hey, how do you feel?
37:20What's the one thing I look for?
37:22Let me talk to my ass.
37:24Natalie!
37:26I'm not doing it.
37:27I'm not doing it.
37:28I'm not doing it.
37:28I'm not doing it.
37:28I went to get a piece of pizza, came back and bathroom doors locked, bunch of giggling, laughing.
37:36What's going on?
37:37What are you guys doing?
37:39We're taking a bath altogether.
37:41No, I, you know what?
37:43Today has been a long day and I'm tired and I'm tired and ready to go to bed.
37:54This is not how I wanted the last week to go.
37:57I wanted to be able to share some time with my daughter, kind of reminisce about our journey
38:03while we've been here.
38:08Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, this programming and a run like that.
38:15I'm so frustrated right now.
38:17I know I can't even explain it.
38:18Open up the damn door.
38:24Open the door before I come in here.
38:34I didn't do anything.
38:37I didn't do anything.
38:57Oh my God, I didn't hear that.
39:23My mom's getting in my face. I don't understand why she just won't back up like she knows I'm
39:28going to go off right now. I'm emotional and angry. It's not going to be good.
39:31I need to wash my face so that you can go in the other room. My mom knows my triggers
39:39and I'm just
39:40not having it. I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry for you. Natalie and Karen are definitely the same
39:55person. Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. It's just common knowledge. You're a bad girl,
40:00okay? If you don't want to be a bad girl, then don't portray the bad girl image.
40:04She's going to have to taste this, maybe for years. This might not be fixable.
40:08She keeps coming at me like I can't do that. I'm not coming at you with anything.
40:12Stop talking to me like you ain't got no sense right now.
40:21In about two seconds, you guys are going to see a mother or daughter have a fight.
40:29She's not feeling 100%. Oh my God. I feel like I'm going to faint.
40:37Oh no, it's bad now. Now it's really bad. Paramedics, ambulance, that's not a good sign.
40:43This is serious.
40:47Well, this is it. It's the end of our time together. It's time to just lay everything
40:51right out on the line. I'm going to try my best to work on being there for you.
40:57You're my mom and I'm always going to need you.
41:00I apologize for letting you win a moment go by without having you in my life.
41:07I feel so betrayed in the most painful way.
41:14You cross boundaries that should never be crossed.
