00:00And I think what's scary about the Yankees right now
00:02is there are two things that haven't happened yet
00:04that you assume are just going to get better.
00:07Number one is the obvious with the pitchers that are returning.
00:10Carlos Rodon is on his way back.
00:11His next start will be at the Major League level.
00:13Elmo Rodriguez has already been sent down.
00:15That's good pitching depth to have just in case there are injuries.
00:18It's also good depth to have in case you want to trade him for another piece.
00:21You also have Garrett Cole, who will eventually come back.
00:23It doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon.
00:25There wasn't any kind of setback.
00:26He pitched last night.
00:27But they're going to take their time with Garrett Cole.
00:29Either way, you've got two horses returning.
00:32And then the other thing, which is kind of nuts,
00:35is that you watch the Yankees every day,
00:37and it feels like Aaron Judge really hasn't hit his stride yet.
00:41I know.
00:41Look, he hits a home run every day or every other day, it feels like.
00:45But I was just looking at his batting average for so many weeks,
00:48it felt like it's just hovering around 230
00:50and just not becoming the Aaron Judge who hit 320 and 50-plus home runs.
00:55All of a sudden, it's 370.
00:57He's starting to wake up.
00:58And Ben Rice goes out, Paul Goldschmidt hits a home run.
01:04It's like they can't do wrong.
