00:00The Gulf is bracing itself for what could be a major escalation in the war with Iran.
00:06Now attacks against the UAE resumed yesterday.
00:10The first major attacks since the ceasefire was announced earlier in April.
00:15We got those emergency warning alerts ringing out on our phones late afternoon,
00:19advising people to take shelter.
00:22We had 12 ballistic missiles, we had three cruise missiles and four drones targeting the UAE.
00:29There was, in addition to that, a major fire at the Fujairah oil zone,
00:33which resulted in the injury of three Indian nationals.
00:38Now the foreign ministry have condemned these attacks.
00:41They have said they reserve the right to a full and legitimate response.
00:46Meanwhile, President Trump has said that Iran will be blown off the face of the earth
00:52if they continue to attack U.S. ships protecting commercial vessels in the Strait of Ormuz.
00:58Of course, this all feeds into the wider worry about regional stability here in the Middle East.
