00:00Iran made a shift over the weekend, expanding its threats into civilian territory across the Gulf.
00:06Here in the UAE, they issued evacuation warnings to people nearby to three major ports.
00:13Jebel Ali port in Dubai, Khalifa port in Abu Dhabi and Fajera port.
00:18Now, over the weekend, our financial district was hit by drone debris.
00:22In addition, this morning, DXB, Dubai International Airport, once again suffered a hit,
00:28resulting in the complete closure of the airport, no inbound or outbound flights.
00:33We are told they're slowly resuming as the day goes on.
00:36A couple of hours ago, a drone strike in Abu Dhabi hit a civilian car, resulting in one death.
00:42And just a few moments ago, we're hearing of reports of black smoke, plumes billowing above Um al-Qaim,
00:49which is one of our nearby emirates.
00:51Now, the U.S. made military precision strikes over the weekend on Karg Island in Iran.
00:57Now, that handles around 90% of their crude oil export.
01:02And while it's said that the oil infrastructure was not hit,
01:05U.S. President Donald Trump did make a statement saying he may hit the island again just for fun.
01:11Now, the UAE has hit back at those claims that those U.S. strikes originated from UAE territory.
01:19And our presidential advisor, Dr. Anwar Gargash, took to his social media this morning and over the weekend
01:25and said that those claims are part of a confused policy that has misdirected its aim,
01:32lost its compass and forsaken wisdom.
