00:00:29to see who has drive creativity and who can do this under pressure it feels yeah daunting but

00:01:19you've all proven that you can shine with time to prepare but in the real world all the great
00:01:26artists shine under pressure we're gonna put you into groups of three and your challenge is to work
00:01:35through the night to curate a performance a performance you will need to execute for us
00:01:41all tomorrow morning some people make the mistake of working all night and then tomorrow no one's got a
00:01:49voice so split the difference and then for goodness sake get some sleep before we see you tomorrow because
00:01:55you you want to be in tip-top shape you know the challenge will test your abilities to work together

00:10:47each of the nine groups must work through the night to collaborate and prepare
00:10:52before performing their chosen song for the judges in the morning
00:10:56behind us our teams are working overtime on their arrangements
00:11:00yeah they know that even though this is a team challenge they're still competing as individuals
00:11:06so when they step out on that stage they know they have to make their mark
00:11:10nobody wants to go home and i'm predicting a very late night
00:11:20the trio of carer charlie mum and teacher samella and doting dad trey who have drawn on their soulful roots
00:11:29to craft their own take on rihanna's we found love and with each of them blowing the judges away at
00:11:35auditions expectations couldn't be higher
00:11:39yeah i think that our song choice is amazing
00:11:42we're all quite soulful r&b inspired singers so it's cool to be able to put that twist on such
00:11:47a big pop record
00:11:57the judges are really hard markers and they're going to judge us individually
00:12:01we've got to bring it individually as well as as a collective
00:12:07doesn't it go like in the track

00:12:12or am i making that up in my head
00:12:14i think the problems we might face in this group challenge are definitely picking the right key
00:12:20i don't know if that's the right harmony but did that work at all or is that weird
00:12:25i'm with two two male vocalists so i it's ideal for them to shine but as well as as well

00:12:32being able to shine in the right key is is a bit tricky

00:14:34so they're gonna really have to adapt and learn really quickly
00:14:43i can hear some really dodgy harmonies in the background um see some tired eyes and i can feel
00:14:51the tension i reckon bringing in the harmonies is a good eye good idea
00:15:05see it's weird okay i know this sounds really trashy for me but would i be able to just do
00:15:11it by
00:15:12myself that part i feel like i'm underestimated a bit and i do like my part first and then your
00:15:20part
00:15:20because i don't want it to clash so after being on notice like it's really important for me to shine
00:15:26if i don't turn it around for my next performance that could mean i could go home so i'm gonna

00:15:31all my effort into it and really just focus and knuckle down when do i come in because i don't

00:15:59and i know it's a competition and we all want to showcase our talents but i just want to make

00:16:03at the end of the day we have each other's support um i don't i don't know if i'm stepping
00:16:09out of line
00:16:10no i feel like this is your time to shine and i really think you should hone into it especially
00:16:14at the start going as hard as you want and like don't be afraid to like outdo anyone else
00:16:18but i want to make sure you have your moment as well i feel like i can have enough of
00:16:23my own on

00:16:53groups start to unravel in the toughest challenge yet
00:17:00some are pushed to breaking point if other people forget their lyrics it's not on me and
00:17:07in just minutes the performances begin let's do it one group sets the bar sky high you guys were like
00:17:16the top of the game here with vocals but for some a harsh reality awaits
00:17:27that was one of the worst group performances i have ever seen
00:17:49no no yeah so that's the slow bit rehearsals are well underway but it takes two there shouldn't be
00:17:55another break to get it a bit stripped back with most groups working on their arrangement
00:17:59that's nice that's nice i'm excited i was really feeling that part i love this guy put the three
00:18:05dancers together i know i mean we gotta diva it up i'm so excited for cheerleader olivia dancer
00:18:13locky and all-around performer lydia they are hoping to stand out from the rest of the crowd
00:18:19by adding movement to their performance of kylie's can't get you out of my head and just have like
00:18:29dancing dancing dancing is something that i do quite often so i'm excited to kind of combine
00:18:37those two elements together have you guys had like any experience on stage singing dancing or
00:18:43done quite a few gigs and performances where i've had to sing i haven't done many gigs before like
00:18:49dancing singing thing but yeah i'm beginning to i guess but that's sense i don't have experience
00:18:57singing and dancing at the same time so it is a bit nerve-wracking
00:19:13dancing yeah and what's the plan so we're doing um can't get you out of my head by kylie minogue
00:19:21ah very iconic song and we're all dancers yes what's better than dancing together when you've
00:19:28gotten the chance you guys are risking it all i mean with a very little time putting it all
00:19:35together movement harmonies vocals being in sync there's a lot there yeah being able to sing
00:19:42yeah and sing in the right key yeah the balance moving to your note or your lyric good luck

00:20:34got the song kind of by its handles if we're going to go down the the harmony route i reckon

00:20:39focus on like connecting with each other like and then make an eye contact with each other and stuff
00:20:45because it's such an intimate type of version of the song our vibes aren't trying to overrule each
00:20:50other like we're all just feeding off each other and like it's not competitive in any way we're just
00:20:56wanting to like showcase each other's strongest abilities how you feeling about being on notice

00:24:21slow and how can we pick it up you know make it a bit more interesting what will the double
