00:00I was actually really sorry to see you go.
00:03How do you look back at your below deck down under experience now?
00:08You know, I look back at it and I understand where I went wrong.
00:14You know, my work ethic, you know, probably the number one, the issue that I had on board.
00:23And for me, it was looking back at it now, I understand that I f***ed up.
00:30You know, I put a lot of pressure on Daisy.
00:34Okay, you're working till 9pm tonight.
00:38We'll see about that.
00:40Excuse me? What did you just say to me?
00:42I said I'm not working till 9pm tonight.
00:43Okay, you can get off the boat. Get off the boat.
00:46You know, she was already having other problems with the galley and with, you know, and with other people.
00:52And it was just for me, it was more like, I should have been on Daisy's team.
00:55You know, I should have been on her side.
00:56I should have been helping her out.
00:58I look back at it now and I reflect of, like, I understand where I went wrong, you know.
01:04But I can only learn from that now, you know, moving forward.
01:07And I feel like I want to take accountability for upsetting people and for letting people down.
01:15Since the season started airing, I've seen Daisy post pictures with you on Instagram.
01:20How are you two today?
01:22You know, I reached out to Daisy after the show and I actually apologised to Daisy.
01:27We had a good relationship, you know.
01:29It was just the fact that when we put in that work and environment,
01:34she understood at the moment when she let us go, she had to say enough is enough, you know.
01:39And she had to put that relationship aside of being like, he's took things too far now.
01:44And maybe I took advantage of that, you know.
01:46Maybe I took advantage of me having that good relationship with Daisy outside of the working environment.
01:51But of course, moving forward, I took accountability with Daisy.
01:57And me and Daisy are on really good terms now.
01:59And moving forward, it's how I want it.
02:02That's how I always want it to be, you know.
02:03I don't want to fall out with anyone.
02:05So, go on.
02:05What is it like to get fired by Captain Jason?
02:09Captain Jason is such a great guy, you know.
02:13And he's such a down-to-earth person.
02:17He was more disappointed than me.
02:18He was like, I feel like Jason knew that I could have worked harder, you know.
02:21And I could have maybe had, I could have given a little bit more to the team.
02:27But it was a bit scary, you know.
02:29Jason can go from, like, this, you know, he's a great guy.
02:35But also, like, at the end of the day, he's the captain of this boat.
02:38And he has to do what's right for this boat, you know.
02:40And if there's someone not putting the graft in and there's someone not putting the effort in
02:44and they're letting the team down, then, of course, he has to make changes.
02:48And I do feel like he made the right decision, you know.
02:52It was actually really upsetting to let someone like Jason down, who was such a great guy.
02:57Well, he also sort of said in his speech to you, there is a toxicity on board and you're the
03:03source.
03:03There's a toxicity on board and you're at the source.
03:06Daisy and Joelle have done everything possible to help you flourish here.
03:10You think this is a bit of a joke.
03:11I won't tolerate it.
03:13I need you to leave the boat today.
03:15I'm sending you home.
03:17I don't know if that was exactly fair to single you out like that.
03:21The thing is, when Jason had said a roundabout the toxicity, it wasn't the fact that it was
03:26just that it was only me who had issues.
03:29You know, everyone had their own issues.
03:30It's just the fact that I had issues and I wasn't working as well.
03:33And that's what was more, that was where I understand where Jason was like, this is where
03:38the toxicity is happening because it's not just, because of course, you know, boats all
03:43around the world, people have problems, you know, people have to live in close proximity
03:47environments and it is like a family being on there, you know, people are going to have
03:50drama, people are going to have tips.
03:52But for me, it was more, you know, it was the work ethic and I should have just worked
03:56a little bit harder.
03:57Well, and before I let you go, I do have to ask, you recently linked up with Joe Bradley
04:02and posted a picture together, you know, tell me how that meetup happened.
04:09So I live in Mallorca full time.
04:11Okay.
04:12So yeah, I live in Mallorca full time.
04:14I've been living here for around since 2019.
04:18And Joe was actually coming to Mallorca, you know, he watches the show and he was doing,
04:27he's coming out to do his AC course, you know, Joe was wanting to progress in his career
04:31as well.
04:34And he reached out, you know, he said, look, I'm coming to Mallorca.
04:37And I said, Joe, I would absolutely love to meet up with, you know, Joe's been in the
04:41industry for a long time, you know, a lot of deck experience.
04:44So for me, it was like, it would be great to meet Joe, you know, someone who's also in
04:50this, in the same, you know, in this Bravo world, it was being on below deck.
04:56And after meeting him, because you don't know what anyone's like when you meet someone,
04:59you know, but me and Joe, it was, it was like, we just clicked.
05:04It was just like, I just had this sort of like this brotherly energy towards him immediately
05:09as soon as I met him, you know, and like how me and Eddie first met, you know.
05:13And, um, obviously, I thoroughly, I, I, I look at Joe and be like, I know I am going to
05:21get
05:21on with you.
05:22Me and you are going to have a lot of fun together, you know.
05:26And then did you two go out afterwards?
05:30We kept things casual, you know, we didn't go too mental, you know.
05:33It was a few bottles of wine.
05:35Uh-huh.
05:36And I can't remember what happened after that.
05:37Yeah.
05:38What?
05:38What?
